The best day
Absolutely loved our tour with Tony. His humor and knowledge of history and the area were wonderful. So much better than a big bus, and we didn't have to drive! Highly recommend.

Private tour ring Kerry day trip
Sep. 2019 • Friends
Our day spent touring ring of Kerry was purely magical! What made it top notch was many things: the views, the small towns, the people we met... but most of all Craig the bus tour driver!! He was very informative, a top notch story teller, knew what stops were what we would like. Every stop wowed is as we learned about meaning of each area as there was a story for each one . I look forward to doing the Dingle peninsula next time I go to Ireland for my 25th anniversary!! In less than two years!! Our tour bus driver Craig is the reason I will book agsin!
Loved the tour.. it was highlight of the trip for me and my friends!!!

Wonderful experience
Sep. 2019
We had a very great time with our guide Jim. He was warm and welcoming. He told us a lot about Ireland's history and people. Jim introduced us to very amazing and breathtaking landscapes. Thanks to this private tour, we were lucky to discover places we wouldn't discover otherwise in a very relaxed and laidback way!

Fantastic days!
May 2019 • Family
We took 2 private tours with Munsterbus - Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher in May 2019.
Our driver for both was Craig M. who is a wonderful person and ensured we had fantastic days! We learned so much about Ireland in just those 2 days! Craig is a wealth of information, thoughtful and attentive to things we were interested in. He is an expert , safe driver for the challenging roadways of the area. The scenery is breathtaking- an absolute must for any Ireland visit! The private tours was so worthwhile and truly were the highlight of our trip! We are thankful to have met Craig and will seek him out on our return trip!

May 2019 • Friends
Our ship docked in Cobh and we took the Munsterbus Tour - Ring of Kerry Private Tour on May 3, 2019. Our driver was Jim. He was very knowledgeable and made this such an informative as well as fun trip. Jim's sense of humor was delightful. We saw so many beautiful places. There were many stops and also time for some shopping. This was one of the best excursions we have ever taken. Thank you Jim and Munsterbus Tours!

Ring of Kerry Tour
Jul. 2018 • Couples
We took the Munsterbus Tour - Ring of Kerry Private Tour on 13 July with Brian. The area was absolutely beautiful. We had lunch at the golf course in Killarney. Food was good but view was great. There was a traffic issue as we were leaving Killarney but Brian was able to take us on an alternate route to maintain schedule. We loved the area so much we'd like to come back and do the entire Ring of Kerry during the off season.

Tour of a lifetime!
We booked this tour online with Linda at Munsterbus tours. She was friendly and thorough while helping us book. We were visiting Cobh as a stop on our British Isles cruise with Princess Cruises. I have ancestral connections in the Cork area and our family of 3 really looked forward to visiting the Ring of Kerry area.
Linda originally arranged a vehicle for the 3 of us but she suggested that we could book a slightly larger vehicle at a slightly higher cost (30 Euros more) with the hopes of attracting more participants from our cruise to share the cost. It was a great idea and we found a couple to join us. The cost per person for 5 was considerably better than the cost for 3 in the smaller vehicle.
Our driver/guide was Tonywho happens to be Linda’s lesser half 😁 Together they make a great team operating Munsterbus Tours! If Linda is the brains then Tony is the personality! He made our tour very special! He catered to our requests and added to our knowledge and appreciation of the area. We have many awesome photos as Tony found some very unique and special photo locations. He also managed to always keep us one step ahead of the rain.
The tour gave us a small taste of the beautiful area around the Ring of Kerry including Kenmare and Killarney. We have definitely fallen in love with the area and we hope to visit in the future bringing more friends and family with us. If we do we plan on enlisting Tony and Linda to help make the trip a special one!
Thank you Munsterbus Tours and Tony and Linda!

A great shore excursion for the entire family
Aug. 2018 • Family
Our group (4 adults, 2 children) were looking for a shore excursion when our cruise ship docked at Cobh, Ireland. We found Munsterbus Tours and could not have been happier with the tour we booked. We were greeted by our guide/driver Tony after exiting the boat and the next 8 hours flew by. We saw the countryside. We enjoyed small towns and excellent shopping opportunities. We ate great food. We peered down on views hard to imagine as part of our Ring of Kerry adventure. And we went leprechaun hunting - but without success. I highly recommend the Munsterbus team, and Linda was an excellent point of contact for all our planning questions.

Two Reviews - Ring of Kerry from Cork and Dublin, Glendalough & Powerscourt from Dublin
Jul. 2018 • Family
Both of these private tours were phenomenal. Fun, informative, exciting and filled with beautiful scenery and interesting sights. Our drivers were both top notch. We were cruising on the Royal Princess with stops in Cobh/Cork and Dublin. Munsterbus Tours picked us up at the dock and showed my family and I a fantastic day at both stops.

Cobh/Cork Ireland
Private Tour - Highlights of the Ring of Kerry
Driver = Craig
Our driver, Craig, met us at the statue of Annie Moore and her brothers. We were loaded into a very nice Mercedes Executive Sedan and were on our way. The first leg of the trip was quite a way from the port but Craig kept us interested by telling stories and pointing out places of interest as we drove through Cork. We stopped in Kenmare for a 'comfort' break and to grab a coffee. This is a picturesque town with a nice little shopping district where the shops and houses are painted lively colors. From there we headed to Moll's Gap. This natural pass between the mountains is incredibly beautiful and the story behind the name is fun. We continued to the Ladies View, again stunning landscapes with the 3 lakes of Killarney visible. The Torc Waterfall, nestled in the Killarney National Park, looked as though it was plucked from a fantasy novel. Craig suggested we have lunch in Killarney at Murphy's Bar. Food was delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming. Back in Cork, Craig showed us the Old Church Cemetery where the Lucitania mass graves are. He also pointed out where Jack Doyle, the famous boxer from Cork, was buried and told us a bit about his rise and fall. We had a fantastic day and Craig was quite fun, even serenaded us with several Irish songs. Thank you Craig and thank you Munsterbus for a wonderful tour.

Dublin Ireland
Private Tour - Dublin, Glendalough & Powerscourt
Driver = Gregory
We were met promptly by our driver Gregory and led to our ride for the day, a beautiful Mercedes Executive sedan. Greg took us through so many scenic and important areas of Dublin. We drove through Embassy Row where there was one embassy after another. Leaving town we headed out to the Wicklow Mountains, visited the Glendalough Monastic Settlement and had a break from driving. The ancient ruins and surrounding cemetery are a photographers dream. From there we drove into the gorgeous countryside on a narrow 'bog' road. We stopped for lunch at Powerscourt. This huge manor house has beautiful grounds, a tasty lunch and also a nice shopping area. After lunch we headed back into Dublin. Greg pointed out and explained the significance of historic buildings and monuments and tied the history together in a way that was fun for my wife, son and I. It was easy to see how proud Greg was of Dublin and the exciting prospects for its future. We truly enjoyed spending the day touring Dublin with Greg. He made us want to come back and spend a week just exploring Dublin and the surrounding area.
