Overview
What could be more quintessentially Scottish than lochs and castles? Travel through the photo-worthy West Highlands, visit the haunting glen of Glencoe and stop at Loch Lomond on this day trip from Glasgow by minivan. Numbers are limited to 16 passengers to ensure a more personalized experience with an informative guide, who offers insightful commentary at Kilchurn Castle, Inveraray town, Castle Stalker and more.
What to Expect

This day trip features the picturesque lochs and historic castles of the West Highlands, with plenty of stops along the way narrated by your knowledgeable guide. After pickup in central Glasgow, get comfortable in your Mercedes van for the scenic drive to Loch Lomond.

You’ll gain intimate knowledge of Scotland on this personalized small-group tour, including the eerie glen of Glencoe, famous as the site of the 1692 Clan MacDonald massacre. Enjoy time exploring the shoreline of beautiful Loch Lomond, Scotland's largest freshwater loch.

Other tour highlights include Inveraray town in Argyll; Loch Awe (Lochawe), Scotland’s longest loch; the ruins of Kilchurn Castle; Castle Stalker, which towers over Loch Laich; the majestic peaks of Buachaille Etive Mor; and the boggy moorland of Rannoch Moor.

You'll reach out-of-the-way places and enjoy multiple photo ops of Scotland's windswept landscape before the return drive to Glasgow.

Yes, we stopped at Inverary Castle, which was very nice. The bus was very comfortable with several rest stops. I highly recommend the trip.
