This was not our first tour with Kevin and herein lies the truth. My wife and I took 3 days of tours with Kevin in 2021. Now in Nov 2024 my son and I returned. Kevin is out top drawer as he was fisrt time we used his services. Hos knowledge of folklore, history and menial facts are excellent. On both occasions, we were taken to eateries that are not tourist frequented. kevin also faciliated some restuarant arrangements outside of touring programs. Highly recommend!!!

In planning our trip to Scotland, we were trying to determine how to best see a few specific sites without having to deal with a tour bus or navigate the roads. Luckily for us we stumbled across Wee Scottish Tours. Kevin was so responsive and made planning this trip as easy as possible. Not only did he handle booking our tickets for a few tours but he added additional sites for us to check out along the way. There was a last minute cancellation with one of the distilleries and he was able to use his contacts to ensure we didn't miss out by making sure we had a great bottle to taste from his private collection and actually introduced us to something we liked even better! We enjoyed Kevin's knowledge, interesting stories and sense of humor. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip and we appreciated his recommendations for how we spent the rest of our time in Edinburgh (one of his recommendations was another highlight of the trip for us). Our tour guide, Gary, was fantastic - wealth of knowledge, insights, and humor each day for a week covering Isle of Skye, the highlands, Edinburgh, 4 castles, 2 whiskey tastings, number of villages and towns, lochs and fjords and much more. So many great memories and could not have been better.

A private day tour with Kevin is professionally and informatively led. A custom itinerary was organized easily prior to our visit. Personal service was provided throughout the day and adjustments to ensure our enjoyment. The weather was not the greatest on our day out however Kevin shuffled the plan to work through it. Our 2 day private tour with Wee Scottish tours was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Will, was excellent. Our tour organizer, Kevin, made sure that we got to do everything that we requested and made some great suggestions. This is really the best choice for touring the Central Highlands, particularly if you want to do Whisky tasting.

In all our travels we have never ever had the kind of service that was provided both before during and after our touring. He went above and beyond and providing us information suggestions and first rate tours of both the Scottish Highlands and an outlander tour !! Kevin McHugh was amazing as was Gary Ross we cannot recommend them enough Wee Scottish Tours delivers on its promise. The van was extraordinarily comfortable, and pristine . We truly cannot think of anyone who could’ve given us a better tour or a better Scottish experience.

Wee Scottish Tours was easy to deal with and very reliable. We had an amazing day seeing old towns, castles and lochs near the Highlands. We also had tasty food and a scotch whiskey tour at one of the Speyside distilleries. Our guide, Will, was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We learned an incredible amount about Scottish history and culture, and had a great time!

Visiting Edinburgh to see some old friends (who live here now) and we spent a fantastic day with Will! I worked with Kevin to modify their Stirling tour and see some of the sites associated with my Scottish ancestors as well as get a "wee" taste of the highlands. Will was brilliant and I really appreciated that he worked in some special things, like heading to the church where my ancestors had registered their birth/baptism/marriage. I also quite liked that we stopped for lunch at a fantastic place that was a mash up of an upscale farmers' market and country restaurant. Really was a fantastic day. My only complaint is that it all went by too quickly.

Can’t recommend Wee Scottish Tours and our guide William enough. Communication was excellent before our two day tour and William was a delight - a wealth of knowledge and so personable and enjoyable. He made our two days touring St Andrews and the Highlands one of our family’s favorite part of our time in Scotland.

We had the best time with Kevin on our tour of Harry Potter sites in Edinburg and the St Andrews golf course in St Andrews. He suggested the aquarium for our grandkids which was right by the golf course. We finished with fish and chips from a local restaurant he recommended. Kevin is the absolute best and we look forward to seeing him again!
