Really recommend a tour with Travel Kat! I took this tour with my friends and learn so many things about witchcraft, history and Harry Potter. Kat was very engaging and presented both dark sides of the city but also fun facts which I did not even know about despite living in the city for 10 years. Kat answered all of our questions and recommended the most picturesque spots and best places to buy some souvenirs. We even got great recommendations for best spots for coffee and authentic local pubs. Thanks a lot Kat!

We expected a corny Harry Potter tour - giving us something to do in the rain. Instead we got a tour guide knowledgeable in Edinburgh history and she made it fun throwing in some fun facts about what where how why JK Rowling might have .... really well worth your time!

This was a fantastic tour! Kat was very knowledgeable guide and gave us a lot of interesting information not just about Harry Potter but also about Edinburgh. She took us to several locations that were inspirations for the series. Kat spoke very clearly and so it was very easy to understand. I also greatly enjoyed the small size of the group. Highly recommend!

Kat is a very friendly tour guide with a great sense of humor and a wide range of knowledge about the history of Edinburgh. She told us many interesting stories about the dark history of witchcraft and Harry Potter. I highly recommend the Travel Kat Tour for all HP lovers.

Kat was wonderful. Despite a rainy day she made the entire experience special and even had wands for photos near a certain famous grave! She gave great recommendations for local used bookstores and was a fantastic tour guide! HP lovers should definitely enjoy her tour! Plus many who don’t live HP!

Kat is a personable and extremely knowledgeable tour guide, not just when it comes to Harry Potter but the history of Edinburgh too.
The tour takes place in Edinburgh's beautiful and ancient old town and uncovers some of JK Rowling's inspiration for character and locations in her popular books. You'll also learn about some real-life characters from Edinburgh's colourful history.

Lovely tour for Harry Potter fans & Edinburgh visitors! Kat provided wonderful historical tidbits & HP insight. We (mum, dad, 12yo) went back to many of the tour stops after.

Kat was amazing!! So much knowledge and fun facts in addition to Harry Potter. It moved at a great pace. And we saw a lot of areas we would not have known about on our own. My 11 year old loved the Harry Potter part. My 15 year old and husband and I loved it all. Big thumbs up!

My friends were visiting Edinburgh and we contacted Kat at short notice, a day or two before arrival using the contact details on her website. Kat was very prompt to reply and very accommodating even for a small group (2 adults and a child). She more or less created a bespoke tour for them with bits of the Harry Potter tour and Edinburgh history also, which was great! No issues in recommending Kat as a tour guide for Edinburgh!

HI there! I would love to book this in June for my family of 4. My son has become quite the HP fan this year. But whenever I try and book it says 4 tix are about $66 however, when I go to pay it wants to charge me $380+. Not sure if there is an error on the $66 or the $380 (which seems like that may be wrong as you take up to 10 people). We aren't in a huge rush as we are coming to Scotland in June but we like to plan ahead! Thank you so much!
