Complimentary drinks are very interesting and tasty. this is NOT your regular distillery tour. Do buy your tickets ahead of time!

William picked us up right on time in Edinburgh and drove us to Berwick-upon-Tweed for 2 hour stop, then to Hadrian’s Wall and finally to Grasmere. He was outstanding, always making sure we were comfortable and saw interesting sites. Made for a wonderful day. Aura Journeys great to work with to arrange all. Wonderful day.

We had a wonderful driver, Kenny. We weee able to experience everything we asked for and were back in time for the cruise just as discussed.

Lovely tour from door to door with William, who guided us and was flexible to our wishes. From delivering us right on time for our boat tour of Loch Lomond to calling ahead to our lunch stop, to sharing stories, our day couldn’t have been any better.

We had a fantastic day with William and would highly recommend Aura Journeys. William’s extensive knowledge of the area meant he could adapt our itinerary as the day progressed and he intuited our needs. We wouldn’t have been able to cover so many unique experiences (a loch, distillery, castle, and much more) in a few hours without a warm and helpful local guide. The car was also clean and comfortable. I can’t think of a better way to spend a day around Stirling, Edinburgh and beyond!

Much to our surprise our driver Willie told us it was his first day on the job. He was as delightful, funny and interesting as any veteran could be. Ask for Willie. You won’t regret it.

William was an excellent driver and tour guide. On the way, he gave me a fantastic tour of Stirling Castle. William also did a great job of providing background and history along the way to Inverness. I highly recommend this service.

Had a great adventure. Scotland is beautiful and our driver was informative and funny. We all loved it. Sterlin castle is full of history and the views of the highlands are amazing.

William, our wonderful guide, gave us a trip of our lifetime. He ensured we saw everything we wanted to see in northern Scotland and much more. He was kindness personified. We were never rushed and the sites he selected were beautiful.

Our group of 7 used Aura twice during our stay in Scotland and received excellent service on both tripS. Their staff was prompt in answering my emails and adjusting the schedule to meet our needs. Our first driver, Gerry, took us from Edinburgh to Drymen stopping in Stirling and Alloa. Gerry was prompt, mindful of our schedule and getting to places on time. He was great fun to travel with! He even dropped our foursome at the course after taking the rest of our group to our hotel We also used Aura from Pitlochry to Edinburgh stopping in St Andrews. Again our driver William was prompt, pleasant and mindful of our schedule. We highly recommend Aura for Travelling around Scotland and would definitely use again,

A great afternoon at the Johnny Walker experience in Edinburgh this afternoon. The whole business went for a company team building event. A huge call out to Ryan and Ali for their amazing hosting talents. You made it even more of a special event! Such good value for money as there are three drinks included in the ticket price. I suggest you book their 1820 roof terrace bar for drinks and food afterwards. The views are to die for! I would absolutely recommend this experience.

This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. It was completely customized and so fun. Our driver/ guide (Gerry) was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this tour.

We booked this tour 4 months prior to our cruise stop in Glasgow (Greenock) to visit the Trossachs National Park area. We came out of the ship ahead of schedule and William was already there so we had an early start to our schedule. This trip was met to celebrate my wife’s new decade of wisdom and William took the time to understand her interests and adjust some of our itinerary accordingly and we followed his recommendations. As we were ahead of schedule, William proposed to make a stop by the Kelpies (it was worth it we love horses) and then we headed towards Stirling Castle (excellent visit), made a detour by a nice store who also were showcasing Highlands cows by the parking lot. We spent over an hour in Inveraray (the castle was closed in peak season after 2 years of Covid we didn’t understand why but this was not a surprise as we already knew… and you can still get very good views of it even if you can’t get into it !) and William was right on schedule at our agreed upon time for leaving. Then, we made a stop by Luss before heading back to the ship at the scheduled time. William proved a very good defensive driver and knew the area extremely well. The car had clean windows, strong A/C, and good visibility for sightseeing. Albeit expensive, this proved to be a great excursion that enabled us to see at least the equivalent of 4 ship excursions while being just the two of us and control the itinerary. We would recommend Aura Journeys for any of your adventures in South West Scotland !
