This was the best tour I’d ever been on. Kenny and David were great. Both had amazing info, good sense of humour and very very kind. Not many people I’d spend 12 hours with but they were so lovely and accomodating. The information was brilliant, facts and info for every place we went to. Amazing music playing on the bus as well. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Maybe next time I’ll spot Nessie, I’ll definitely be going again!! The tour was very thought out and interesting all the way through. Also, very worth the price!

Worth trying if you are looking forward to be involved in splendid mountains within only limited time.

It’s really a impressive trip during the Christmas holiday, to tell the truth it’s more like a road trip than the hiking trip. So remember not to sleep too much on the bus or you will miss the most splendid view on the way.

What inspired me most is the tourguide Paul, he is also the driver and the only staff on the bus. He organised everything and everyone well and he may be the most energetic one during the trip. Not only the geographic and historic knowledge but also the happy mode enriched the whole trip.

This was a fantastic tour, I highly recommend, you get enough time at stops to look at the scenery and take photos, as well as able to enjoy the scenery while on the bus. The company is great and our tour guide Andrew J was phenomenal!!!! He has an excellent knowledge of the areas, is a great story teller and very funny. Can’t say enough good things about Andrew J and our experience on the trip, a must do for anyone wanting to visit Loch Ness and the highlands but only have a day to do it. Thanks for a great trip Andrew J.

Our tour guides Andrew J and Paul E were awesome, we had a lot of fun on the tour, the stories were great, and it made the tour up into the Highlands a lovely memorable trip with the family.
And we shall never get over what the Campbells did to the Macdonalds.....

The tour is fantastic and it is definitely good value for money. The highlands are absolutely stunning and you get more than enough time looking at the stunning scenery and surroundings. You get plenty of time at each stop and our tour guides even stopped for a few “extras”. I paid the additional cost for access to the castle and the loch cruise and this was definitely worth it. Urquhart Castle is a beautiful ruin with much still left in tact and with plenty to see. The views over Loch Ness are amazing, and the entrance to the castle was worth it for the views alone. The history of the castle is interesting and the visitor centre plays well on this. The cruise was informative and again allowed you to see the stunning scenery (sadly, no monsters seen this time). The two tour guides (Andrew J and Paul E) were brilliant and really made the tour. They were informative and gave not just great historical recounts but geographical information as well. Humorous and informative. High recommend.

My husband and I took the day tour with Neil and it was amazing! Neil was a great driver and story-teller. The landscapes of the Highlands are so dramatic and breathtaking. The self-guided tour of Urquhart Castle and the boat ride on Loch Ness was a wonderful pit stop as well and I’d highly recommend! My husband and I only had 2.5 days to explore Edinburgh and beyond, and the full day bus tour was well worth it. Highly recommend if you want to see as much of the country as possible on a short amount of time!

What a great day! Everything went to plan and to schedule from picking us up to all the rest stops and to dropping us off. The coach was comfortable and it was great to sit back relax and enjoy all the scenery. The driver for the tour was Alan who was an excellent driver but he knew so much about Scotland and Scottish history that he made the tour extremely interesting. I learned loads of stuff I never knew….thanks Alan. Both Alan and his assistant on the day, Mike, where great company and looked after everyone so well….thanks guys. We are already planning our next trip with Timberbush.

We booked a tour through the highlands to see the lochs and Stirling Castle. Halfway through the tour the weather turned snowy. Our driver and guide Neil was able to change course and drive us safely back down the highlands keeping us all safe. He was also able to keep the party going and switched gears and took us to a time Scottish distillery tour. 10/10 would Neil again.

I was on the trip, and the Tour Guide Andrew T was unbelievable awesome. He knew everything, right from the mountains and the stories associated with him. The background music he plays while driving the Highlands just adds on to it. Highly recommended and worth the money. Get your raincoat and umbrella though.

Thank you for your review. Yes, layers are a way of life here in Scotland! Dress in layers are words to live by. I will pass your comments along to Brian as I'm sure he would love to hear this. Try the Irn Bru ice-cream next time too!
