We were delighted with the taxi tour. Our driver was very informative and gave some detailed accounts from his own experiences of belfast from the troubles. He took us to the falls and shankill areas giving an unbiased account of the people involved and the events that would have occurred. He added a very personable account which we very much appreciated. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting belfast to get a small feeing of the not so distant past and how far it’s come. I’ve done this tour on two occasions and will continue to do it every time I visit belfast. Damien & yvonne

The three hour tour I had with Pat as my guide was absolutely fantastic! He tailored the day to my interests and we squeezed so much into my private tour. Pat shared important history paired with personal recollections of having lived through The Troubles. My favorite part of the day was seeing up close the Palestine Wall and mural artwork by Taqi Spateen, peppered through the city. The parallels of yesterday and today were on impactful display all throughout Belfast.

The Political Tour… A fantastic insight into the realities of life leading up to and during the ‘troubles’ as well as the present day situation. Our driver / guide was Kevin and he is a great guy; very knowledgeable and passionate as he’s lived the life here. So much information crammed into the tour; told with emotion and great insight. Superb.

We requested the 3 hour political tour and Jimbo was our driver and host, making this trip fantastic. He was informative, entertaining, knowledgeable, and just an overall likable person. The amount of information and details were amazing. Jimbo’s experiences, photographs and side stories truly made this one of the best moments of our trip. At the end we had a greater understanding of the history and landscape that enhanced the remainder of our trip throughout Belfast the Ireland. Thanks Jimbo!!

Unbelievably knowledgeable tour guide. Gave us the opportunity to stop or move on numerous times. Took us to the most important places that the troubles had occurred and what new placards and memorials have been installed.

We highly recommend this tour if visiting Belfast. Paul was our driver, he was extremely knowledgeable of the troubles in Belfast and gave us a better insight of what it was like during that time.

Our group of 5 people booked a tour for September 4, 2024 with Taxi Tours Belfast. Our cruise arrived in Belfast. We took a Taxi from the Port and made our way to the Titanic Museum where we toured the Museum. We arranged for pickup at the titanic Museum at 1:00pm with Taxi Tours Belfast. My contact for booking the tour was Norman Reilly. Our Driver James was on time and ready to start our tour he explained in detail about the history and the political uprising that took place in Belfast. We visited several of the sights saw several Murals including the great wall that everyone signs. James narrated the history so well, it was like going back in time because he lived it all as a child. We also visited the Belfast Castle. We had a great time with James and he made our tour of Belfast worthwhile. At end of our tour James took us back to our ship.

Very interesting and informative. See some of the historic areas involved in "The troubles". The guide was fantastic and knew a lot of things. I think it is a must do tour when in Belfast.

Paddy was amazing and so informative. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly, answered any questions we had. He showed us as much as he possibly could- he even stopped the car at a memorial and got out with us to talk/walk us through it. He gave recommendations on what to do for the rest of the places we were visiting in Ireland as well! We would recommend this tour to EVERYONE and would even do it again!!
