Belfast Shore Excursion: Giant's Causeway Tour Including Belfast City Tour
USD 46.79
Overview
Make the most of your time in Belfast Port by joining our luxury coach to the beautiful North Coast. Your driver and tour guide will meet you at the cruise ship terminal. This tour will take you directly to the Giant's Causeway and arrive before other coach operators so that you can take in the full beauty of this UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. After the Causeway stop, you will be taken to view the famous Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge and the dark ruins of Dunluce Castle for a photo stop. Before taking you back to the ship in time for your sailing you will get a tour of Belfast seeing the political wall murals and the Belfast peace line.
What to Expect
Your day will begin at Belfast cruise ship terminal where you will meet your driver and guide and you will be offered a complimentary bottle of water for your journey. This tour will take you directly to the famous Dunluce Castle for a photo stop before travelling to the Giant's Causeway, arriving before the other tour operators so that you can enjoy the spectacular basalt columns that are over 60 million years old. You will also learn about the legend that states that it was in fact Irelands most famous warrior Finn McCool that created the Causeway!
If you decide to visit the Giant's Causeway Visitors Centre there is an additional charge to the centre but you can choose to visit the Causeway for free along the public path.

The next stop will be a spectacular viewing point for the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge for a scenic photo stop. Due to time constraints, we will not have enough time to cross the bridge.

An additional stop in the beautiful village of Cushendall for a lunch stop (Additional Cost) and we then make our way back to Belfast by the scenic Antrim Coast road. This area is considered as an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Antrim Coast is breathtaking with it's rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and wonderful views of Scotland.

On arrival in Belfast, your guide will take you on a Belfast City Tour that will cover the political wall murals and the Belfast peace line before taking you back to your ship in time for departure.

Much better value than the shore excursion offered by the cruise ship

This tour offered the same itinerary as the cruise liner but at half the price. We missed the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge due to bad weather but still very happy with the tour overall. The Giants Causeway is a not to be missed attraction. There is...More
