Get a local’s insight into the Troubles that divided Belfast and how they shaped the city and its street art on this intimate street art tour. See colorful murals created by both Nationalist and Loyalist communities, including the celebrated Peace Wall, as you travel around Belfast with ease in a London-style black cab.
What to Expect
Enjoy a street art tour of the many murals that adorn Belfast’s houses, walls, and “peace walls”, built to divide warring communities. You’ll learn about the Troubles, when Nationalists and Loyalists fought over whether Northern Ireland should unite with the rest of Ireland or remain a part of the United Kingdom, and see their impact on the city’s street art.
As you travel in a London-style black taxi, your guide uses photos and videos from the 1960s  to explain the neighborhoods you visit. You’ll feel the atmosphere as you stand on the exact spots where historic events took place and learn the stories of the individuals involved.

We booked our trip the day before. Have the concierge at your hotel check on it for you or just give them a call directly. Ask for Stevie if you can get him. He was well informed and very friendly.
