Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge Day Trip from Belfast
From USD 41.93
Overview

Make the most of even a short stay in Belfast on a tour that covers some of Northern Ireland’s most scenic spots, including the Giant’s Causeway—Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site—and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. With a guide, you'll travel between the ruins of Dunluce Castle, the Dark Hedges tree tunnel, and Cushendun with ease, allowing you to spend less time navigating and more time sightseeing.

What to Expect

Have your camera ready for your first stops: the Dark Hedges, an interlocking avenue of beech trees, and the ruins of Dunluce Castle.

You’ll have free time to revel in the spectacular landscapes of the Giant’s Causeway, made up of some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. Some describe the UNESCO-listed site as the eighth wonder of the world so bring a packed lunch to make the most of your time.

Next, capture pictures of the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, a 66-foot (20-meter) bridge that sways above the Atlantic Ocean, connecting the mainland to the tiny island of Carrick-a-Rede. You’ll have over an hour to explore, whether by crossing the bridge or hiking along the coast.

Savor the famous coastal route before you stop at Cushendun, where you can see across to Scotland on a clear day. You’ll drive back to Belfast over the Glens of Antrim, enjoying more panoramic coastal views.

I don’t usually like going on bus tours, but this one changed my mind for good! The locations we visited were fantastic, and very well organised. It was clear where we’d have to go, where we could use bathrooms and when we had to be...More
