Afternoon Jack the Ripper Tour with 'Ripper-Vision' in London
From USD 17.74
Overview
Unlike other Jack the Ripper experiences, this tour comes with Ripper Vision: a hand-held projector that transports you back to Victorian London, when Jack the Ripper would have been prowling the streets. During the afternoon, when the streets of Whitechapel are less crowded and more atmospheric, you’ll explore east London on foot and learn about the still unidentified serial killer’s reign of terror, with accompanying videos and images to enhance your experience.
What to Expect
As you walk the very route the ripper would have taken, 'Ripper- Vision' will practically bring you back to a time of gaslight and fog, a time of poverty, disease and silent footsteps in the shadows as the ripper hunted his victims.
The gruesome tale of Jack the ripper remains the greatest mystery in the history of crime. Your guide is a dedicated "Ripperologist" and enthusiast. This is the most up to date Jack the Ripper tour anywhere in London, the most exciting, the most shocking and a must for anyone who loves a good gruesome mystery. So join in and track down the most elusive criminal in history.

worth doing

have been to london many times and always planned on going on this tour and I finally did. It really was worth it and the tourguide was a true ripperologist. If you are a history buff like myself you cant miss out on this tour.

Ripper Vision added a nice touch

The tour was engaging and full of information. Being able to visualise what things looked like in 1888 was really interesting. The tour guide, Johnnie, is a serious Ripper fanatic and could probably answer any question you have on the topic, not just the script.

I think the tour lasted about one and half hours. The more questions asked the longer the guide would take. Jamie was happy to discuss theories and opinions. I would think the tour could last up to two hours.
