Very crowded
Oct. 2021
This was booked in conjunction with two other activities which gave better value overall. We attended with our teenage daughter who loved every minute. In my opinion, there were far too many people present to be able to really appreciate the waxworks. The London ride towards the end was good fun.

Enjoyable with some flaws
Oct. 2021 • Family
It was my first visit to Madame Tussaud’s in years and it was better than I had remembered as they’ve managed to keep it fresh and selfie friendly though naturally some of the waxworks’ likenesses are better than others. The big disappointment was the ‘taxi’ ride through 400 years of British history - a dull mishmash with ropey animatronics, a narration you couldn’t hear and a dreadful carousel at the end with pretty much any old stuff thrown onto it. They should go to the Jorvik Viking Centre in York to see how to do it properly. Having to pay extra for the Marvel exhibit is also a bit naughty and if you are with younger children don’t ignore the warning signs on Alien as whilst it’s cool it really is rather gory and scary as it sticks pretty faithfully to the movie.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback from your recent visit to Madame Tussauds London. We appreciate all feedback we receive as it all helps us to pinpoint what we're getting right, and what we can improve for our guests. We're delighted to hear that your visit exceeded your expectations in many ways - we always aim to keep with the times and give our guests something fresh and new! We are however sorry to hear that the Spirit of London ride was not to your taste. This classic attraction is often a favourite of guests for its lively and immersive portrayal of our capital, and so it's disappointing to hear that you didn't enjoy this experience. We welcome guests of all ages, but some bits of our attraction are recommended for an older audience, so we have in place warning signs and information on how to bypass sections available within the attraction to assist those visiting with young children. We would advise guests who are concerned about the content of the attraction to get in touch with us before their visit. We do hope you'll choose to visit us again in the future, so if you'd like to suggest other ways in which we could improve to a 4 or 5 star attraction, please do feel free to contact us at guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com. Kind regards, Katie Guest Experience Team Madame Tussauds London

Really enjoyed it!
Oct. 2021
We really enjoyed our visit, have never been to a Madame Tussauds before so had nothing to compare it to. Even better as we got in free using Tesco clubcard vouchers.
Some of the waxworks were quite old, especially film stars who have aged almost looked like different people! But was interesting to get up close and appreciate the details on each figure. The exhibition was bigger than expected and enjoyed the taxi ride. Would recommend for people wanting to take lots of pics of themselves!

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback from your visit to Madame Tussauds London. We're grateful for all comments we receive from guests, as they all help us to understand better what we can do to improve. We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your visit - we're a lot bigger attraction than many people expect! We are however sorry to hear that you felt that some of the wax figures we have on display are old - our aim is to capture each celebrity in a famous moment in time, and this does sometimes mean that the age they are portrayed as does not match their current age or appearance. We are however often updating some of our figures where appropriate, and we add exciting new figures each year. We hope you'll visit us again in the future for more world-famous fun! Just OK
Oct. 2021 • Friends
Visited London from Belfast. Had never been to Tussauds and was excited to go. While I’m glad I went and it was enjoyable I definitely don’t think it was worth the £34 entry fee. I found some of the exhibits random, a bit old and it definitely wasn’t how I thought it would be. We walked through, took pics with those we wanted to and glanced at the rest. It felt very sparse, if that’s the right word and not worth the money. That said, I was glad to have seen it but would rush back.

It was worth every penny. We took selfies with Bond and other stars. We even had tea with the Queen! It is years since I visited and it was very much a " do not get too close" at the time. Now you are encouraged to interact with the figures. I loved it. Felt like a child again. ....

Great visit and saw new Marvel 4D
Oct. 2021
Have not been here since my children were small, around 20 years. We really enjoyed it, you can interact with the waxworks now and it is great to see new and updated ones. We paid to upgrade to the new Marvel 4D experience which was good fun, although watch the seats they poke you and make you jump. Definitely worth a visit.

Really disappointing
Oct. 2021
t's probably a good 30-odd years since I last went to Madame Tussauds and, maybe my memory is faulty, or maybe the wonder of youth made it seem better, but I was decidedly unimpressed by my latest visit. It seemed very pared down to what I recalled. While there are different 'zones' (celebrity/royal/sportspeople/pop stars) - there aren't actually that many exhibits. And they seem to be missing a lot of famous people who I'd have hoped would be there. I appreciate that they have to capture moments in time/current trends. But some people are timeless and known by most. In fact, being almost 50, I didn't have a clue who some people were - or care much for others. I'd say many of the really big-name Hollywood stars were notable by their absence. The pop area was particularly disappointing. There weren't many exhibits and, again, some big names you'd expect to be there weren't. I was really disappointed to see that Kylie is no longer there. Neither were the Spice Girls. They seem to have been replaced by Little Mix - which my 12 year old liked. But, really, wasn't there room for some of the more enduring, iconic stars? The royal area was equally sparse, consisting of one display featuring the Queen, Camilla, Charles, Kate and William. Again, I understand that people have to consent to it and be up for being represented. Madame Tussauds can only work with what permissions they have. But surely they've had people like Kylie and Marilyn Monroe on display in the past (Audrey Hepburn is still there). So why not keep them up? There was space. I'd have also liked to have seen a description of who was who, and some facts about them. Maybe they're trying to create an experience where it feels like you're really rubbing shoulders with real people, and any form of notice/plaque would interfere with that. But I'm sure they could find a way (even if it's an audio tour) to make it more engaging.

The Marvel bit was meh. The figures themselves seem a little pointless. Hulk, for example, is a figure anyway - so there's nothing amazing about a recreation of that. You can't say 'oooh, doesn't he look real' because it was never real in the first place. The Star Wars exhibit is also only going to be of interest to Star Wars fans - and while I appreciate many people are, there are also many people who aren't. Again, it felt like space that could have been better used by expanding the number of celebrities exhibited. It would be nice to have a 'golden era of Hollywood' area, to cater for older people. This felt like it was geared a lot to a younger audience.

Finally, if you're concerned about social distancing in any way, don't go. There was no mask-wearing and everyone was rubbing shoulders. There's no personal space at all.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback from your recent visit to Madame Tussauds London. We're sorry to hear that your visit did not live up to your previous time with us. We always strive to appeal to as many guests as possible and offer something for everyone, but we recognise that it is not possible to appeal to all tastes. We're disappointed to hear that you feel that we don't cater to older audiences; we've recently given a makeover to some of our Music Zone to more prominently highlight some classic figures in popular music, such as David Bowie, the Beatles, and Mick Jagger, to complement our more contemporary figures like Little Mix and Stormzy. We are however frequently changing our line-up of figures, so we're happy to hear suggestions from guests of the figures they'd like to see in the future, so thank you for your thoughts. Since reopening in August last year, we have introduced a number of enhanced health & safety measures, and we are therefore sorry to hear that you felt these were not up to your expectations on the day of your visit. Within the attraction, we are currently operating to a significantly reduced daily capacity to enable guests to maintain a safe distance from those around them. In line with Government policy, face coverings are recommended within our attraction but not mandatory. We have also added a significant amount of signage across the site itself to promote our health and safety measures. All of our robust health and safety measures are in line with the latest government guidelines and as such we have been awarded the Visit England ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry charter mark. We do hope you'll visit us again in the future - if you'd like to make any further suggestions, please do get in touch at guest.experience@madame-tussauds.com. Visiting madame tussauds.
Oct. 2021 • Family
So we went as a family of 5 to madame tussauds London on a rather wintry Saturday morning.
I have 2 young boys 4,7 years old and a disabled mother (wheel chair) I'm not entirely sure on the cost as we saved the sun vouchers and as a career I was able to get in free.

Where to begin, the staff from the off were amazing we ended up being 45 minutes late but they still allowed us entry. We were met by a photographer who was friendly then handed over to another member off staff who assisted us to the top floors thru lifts. They seemed so happy to assist and made sure we were all happy and ok. They seemed to enjoy their job which is a rarity these days.
The attraction itself is over several floors and different sections, music part, film section, star wars and a marvel part. There's an opportunity to have a hand model made but this is at additional cost which I found to be quite expensive there is an age/height limit on this.
There was a small ride taking you back thru the history of london on a taxi which lasted a few minutes this was a brilliant way to almost finish the tour off.
In the marvel section there's a chance to watch a 3d film (i think) but again at an additional cost of £5 per person.
Overall the whole thing was pretty amazing not ideal for very young children mine started to get a bit fed up although they new some of the wax work models they weren't familiar with most and tbf I didn't no all of them although there are plaques with names on most of the walls near to the models.
In one part (film) they have a massive ape which is animated this was very loud and my son having adhd and possible asd found this very disturbing and wasn't able to deal with this so be aware of this. Also another section that isn't child friendly.
This place gets extremely busy and isn't very covid friendly in the sense everyone was literally on top of one an other although there was hand sanitising stations so avoid if you can't deal with lots of people.
I cannot stress how friendly the staff where and how accommodating they were especially towards my mother. She literally was able to see every part of the tour, an amazing top of the range stair lift especially designed for wheel chairs.
Brilliant day

We are always grateful to receive feedback from our guests on all aspects of their visit, as it helps us to continue to pinpoint areas in which we can improve. We're absolutely thrilled that our staff made such a positive impression - our teams love helping guests to make incredible memories with our stars! We're also very pleased to hear that our staff helped to make your mother's visit a smooth and enjoyable one! We are however sorry to hear that your son was frightened by our King Kong animatronic. If guests have any concerns regarding the suitability of any area of our attraction for children, we advise guests to get in touch when planning a visit.
