Highlights
Climb to the top of the O2 in London on this panoramic adventure tour
Take in some of the best London views, across both sides of the River Thames
Hike up a 170-foot (52-meter) building with an experienced guide
Stay safe with the correct gear—climbing suit, boots, and harness—included
What to expect
Make your way to The O2, located near the North Greenwich Station tube stop, and find the Up the O2 Basecamp.  Meet your experienced climbing guide and group of fellow thrill seekers. Listen to a safety briefing and orientation to the 170-foot (52-meter) structure that is home to a variety of restaurants and entertainment options, and is the world's busiest music venue. Get fitted for a climb suit, boots, harness, and latch.  After the briefing, latch into the safety system and begin the steep ascent, which reaches up to 30 degrees. Make it to the top of the dome for 360-degree views over London, including both the north and south of the winding River Thames. See the historic grounds of Greenwich, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. You're not done yet; the descent is part of the thrill. Your experience ends safely back at the base camp.

All round 10/10 experience
Jul. 2021 • Friends
Climbed the O2 at 20:15 in mid July for the sunset climb and what an experience it was… 10/10 views. As the previous reviews have suggested, the climb and descent can be tough for some but the climb guide will go out of their way to ensure the whole group feels comfortable. I wanted to write a review to give a special shout-out to our guide, Ellie, who really made our experience. She was enthusiastic, made us all laugh and put the effort in to ensure we enjoyed the climb. It wouldn’t have been the same without her. Thanks Ellie, keep smiling and being a 10/10!!!! :)))

Great, one time experience
A great experience climbing over the o2. We booked for the 11am climb, arrived 15 minutes early where you have to sign your details and shoe number so they can provide you with a pair of shoes for the climb. There is also the option of borrowing a sleeveless jacket with zip pockets for your phone (you can’t take any bags up with you, and phones aren’t allowed to be in a pocket that doesn’t have a zip).

Overall the whole experience takes 90 minutes, although a lot of this time is watching the safety video, getting harnessed up and waiting for everyone else. Our instructor was Emily and she was very friendly, welcoming and ensured all were included and felt happy. The incline is quite steep, and especially steep when coming back down, but you can take it at your own pace.

You get about 15 minutes at the top to walk around freely, taking photos and enjoying the great view. There is a photographer at the start and end of the climb, however these pictures cost £15 each and it is much cheaper to just ask your instructor to take a photo of you and your group at the top on someone’s phone.

Overall a really good experience just to say you have done it. Quite expensive so maybe just do it once to say you’ve done it.

Top Of The World!
Jul. 2021
I'm not sure Team Gildon (63,51 and 12 year old) could have picked a hotter morning to do this but what an amazing experience. Yes, some effort is required for the first and last (steepest) parts but it's worth it for the views and feeling of accomplishment you get when you reach the summit. Our leader was a marvellous young chap called "Troy" who added to the whole the whole experience. Mrs G and I treated ourselves to a snifter of champagne at the top to celebrate. If you are having a "stay-cation" this year and a visit to London is planned make sure you add this to your itinerary. Marvellous!

Great climb over the O2
It was a brilliant outing. Fran & Rebecca were great and made sure everyone was ok. When we got to the top Fran described the view, pointing out landmarks and giving some interesting facts. The start and end of the climb was a little steep but I’d highly recommend this. Thanks

Amazing Experience
Jun. 2021
Visited June 2021 with my partner for an early birthday present.

The experience was amazing, great fun climbing to the top, time at the top to take in the sights (and a glass of champagne), then back down the other side, which is probably even more fun, especially as it was wet!!! Views at the top were spectacular, even though the sky decided to open up just as we reached the summit.

Guide was engaging and knowledgeable, and everything in terms of safety and equipment was explained brilliantly.

Would highly recommend

Good fun thing to do
Great well organised safe experience. If you can walk up a slight hill you can do this, really easy and the view/experience is worth it.
