Small-Group English Tea and Desserts Walking Tour in London
From USD 116.98
Overview
Indulge your sweet tooth during a 2.5-hour dessert and chocolate walking tour in London's stylish Soho and Mayfair district. Your knowledgeable guide shares the best spots for gourmet treats as you stroll around the fashionable neighborhood. Expect to sample lots of goodies, and hear fun facts about the people and history of the area, such as which celebrities live and shop there, and what sweets Buckingham Palace serves for the Queen and company. Your tour starts from Piccadilly Circus.
What to Expect

Make your own way to Piccadilly Circus to meet your guide for your dessert and walking tour. As you stroll at a leisurely pace through some of London's most fashionable quarters in Soho and Mayfair, you'll stop frequently to sample delectable high-end chocolates and desserts, and British tea and scones.

Begin in the heart of London with a shop that is fit for a queen. Your guide takes you to the grocer that supplies Buckingham Palace and shows you some of the foods purchased for the kitchens of the Windsors. You'll also enter the world’s first glass-enclosed arcade with luxury brand stores that attract Hollywood A-listers, European aristocrats and other jet-setters.

Next up, step over to Carnaby Street, a pedestrian street that is known as a hotspot for great fashion and food. Enjoy meandering along as your guide shares entertaining stories about the actors, musicians and writers who have lived in this famously creative district.

Stop into a lavish chocolate and cake store filled with whimsical edible creations, including cake statues.

You'll also visit one of central London's most opulent department stores and learn about its gorgeous architecture, which includes wood taken from old British Navy ships. You'll relax here with English tea and scones.
