About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- janeh6930 contributionsGreat day out!Very much enjoyed our tour with Rob and driver Mike. A great way to tour the beautiful countryside with limited time in the UK. As a Midsomer fan, our tour guides knowledge was impressive and we had a lot of fun. Wonderful viewing of familiar scenes and learning back stories. The tour was well organised and left on time, and good value. Only disappointment was wrestling with the DVD player on the bus - apparently an issue are having with bus company they use. Highly recommended.Written 10 October 2024
- Hayden G0 contributionsSherlock Walking TourChris was a fantastic guide. He lead us through all the Sherlock sights with a bit of story at every stop. Along the way, we also got a little history on the buildings around London and even got a kick or two along the way. It was well worth all of the walking. After the tour we went back to the pub for lunch and checked out the museum. It was all absolutely amazing.Written 9 October 2024
- Companion650571263620 contributionsA superb tour from a movie legendJust the best afternoon in the company of a legend. Vas knows his stuff and has whetted my appetite to gain even more of a knowledge on this fascinating subject. This is a tour not to be missed.Written 6 October 2024
- Passport5595890 contributionsInformative and interestingReally informative, and Vas is a great host. The only criticism I have is that you stand outside the pub for an hour before the tour starts listening to Vas telling the Krays stories. I'd have preferred to be able to sit down and have a drink whilst listening. Be ready for a long walk, too. All in all well worth doing.Written 6 October 2024
- Curo690 contributionsClassic Emmerdale Locations. It’s a bit disappointing!Classic Emmerdale Locations Tour. This was more of a coach trip than an Actual Emmerdale location tour. Each stop you drove past a location that you generally couldn’t see because either the coach could not stop or the location was shielded by trees. They could have told me I was anywhere, seeing (not seeing) anything really. It was really disappointing until we got to the Woolpack. I think the organisers need to review the eligibility of this tour as it’s expensive to have a pint in a place that you can actually just drive to yourself.Written 1 October 2024
- johnparslow0 contributionsGreat funMy wife and I attended this tour last Saturday, and absolutely loved it. We were blessed with a nice sunny day, and we also had a good group of people ( about 25) who were all out to enjoy themselves. Vas is an amazing, engaging person with a terrific sense of humour, and he held our attention for the full 2 hours plus. He is very knowledgeable and told some fascinating stories about the Kray twins. There is a lot of walking, so make sure that you wear comfy shoes, and the language can be quite colourful, but all in context with the subject that we were exploring ( well mostly!!). I would highly recommend this tour - you will not be disappointed. Thanks Vas, for giving us such a fun afternoon 👍Written 1 October 2024
- ronaldsO2018CI0 contributionsA must for every Carry On fanFantastic Carry On Location Tour conducted by Brit Movie Tours. It was great to see the spots that were so recognisable from the films and meeting Valerie Leon was the icing on the cake. - patrickkevinp20240 contributionsA beautiful stay in Port IssacJohn gave us a very detailed and enjoyable tour. WE also learned that he was a founding member of Fisherman's Friends undiscovered their music via streaming. It makes a big difference to be shown Port Issac by a local and we appreciated his restaurant suggestions as well.Written 25 September 2024
- edwinroom0 contributionsExcellent James Bond film location walking tourChris was an amazing tour guide and took all time needed to answer questions and for us to take picture. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Thanks Chris!Written 24 September 2024
- Birthdaygit0 contributionsInteresting tour and talkVery interesting tour led by Michael, who was knowledgeable and informative. He gave us some fascinating insights into how locations are used in film, but also some little known facts about Ian Fleming’s life and background. A good way to spend our Saturday morning.Written 22 September 2024
- StefanoB4110 contributionsNot happyNo break, patch info and dropped off nowhere near designated finish point. Traffic used as excuse but thats not an excuse to not inform of break opportunities or finish point.Written 22 September 2024
- UrishkaS0 contributionsGreat afternoon in East LondonGreat tour by Jason, super interesting and insightful. Would definitely recommend it with the aptly named Jack. Thanks for the fun tour.Written 18 September 2024
- stussyboy0 contributionsF***ing brilliant tour of some of the f***ing East End - avoid if easily offended!Vas has a well practised routine, and banters really well with his audience, especially off the cuff at the start. Mostly Kray focused but a few Lock Stock bits also. As everyone says, lots of fruity language, but that was the best bit!Written 16 September 2024

This tour was a present from my partner and it was excellent! Fiona our guide was clearly an avid Harry Potter fan so bought her enthusiasm and passion into each time we stopped and she pointed out a fact or scene from the film franchise. The tour last full two and half hours and it passed by so quickly. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and whilst this was specifically Harry Potter themed our guide did point out other films and locations on route which had featured in other Hollywood films. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and would definitely do another tour by this company in the future.

Enjoyed all the locations and enjoyed HP facts. However they can't show scenes from the film anymore which felt a little flat in spotting some scenes although no fault of the tour, down to Warner Bros. Didn't feel the guide was very enthusiastic compared to the other two we spotted along the way, very difficult to pick them out in a crowd (other guides had HP scarves at least) and few too many personal anecdotes unrelated to the tour. The pacing was awful, like being on a fast treadmill for 2.5 hours, no slowing down, no rest points or even having the courtesy to check pacing with those in the tour. We are quite active but we're just exhausted by the end. No time to stop and take photos either. We ended up losing our guide near the end as they just disappeared ahead of us so called it a day. Fine if free, but paid tour so expected a little more.

My 13 year old is a huge Harry Potter fan. We did the walking tour with Callum last week and it was fantastic!. He was funny and full of information. We loved learning all the little tid bits about filming the movie. He was also patient while we took pictures reenacting the movie. I definitely recommend it!!!

Fiona was very knowledgable and understanding. My wife and I were almost late due to some issues with the tube but she was fantastic and made last minute adjustments to the tour to accommodate the train disruptions. We not only learned loads about Harry Potter but also other interesting facts about London landmarks. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic walking tour. Our guide on the day was Chris, who was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic, not just about Harry Potter, but also about London and its history too.
We were so pleasantly surprised by the amount of information that was shared by Chris, both about the London landmarks we were visiting and how they related to Harry Potter as well. Even as a Harry Potter geek, and a Londoner of over 20 years, Chris still managed to show and tell us things that I didn't know about already, which was a really nice suprise.
The tour moved at a suitable pace for both adults and family groups, and the content was well placed for all age groups, including a couple of opportunities for re-enacting scenes from the movie and stopping for photo ops.
All in all a fantastic afternoon seeing the sites and learning about all things Harry Potter film, and well worth the ticket price given that the tour lasts for two and a half hours. We thought it was excellent.

My family (including 3 young children excited to see Harry Potter filming locations) and I arrived on time to the meeting point and began looking for the guide. When we couldn’t find them, we called the tour company for several minutes with no answer before finally messaging them. Didn’t get a response until OVER AN HOUR LATER saying the tour had begun on time and they left without us. We even asked other locals and no one knew about the tour. There was no clear direction on the meeting point other than where we were standing, and we couldn’t find the guide. There were no signs, marked shirts, or anything to indicate where the tour began or who the tour guide was. So we “missed” the tour according to them even though we were there on time. I then asked for a refund and they have so far refused to provide one because the “tour guide” had already incurred “out of pocket” expenses for the tour. Unbelievable. Total scam and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I ended up just googling the filming location sites and walking to each one by myself over the next few days.

Just got home from the Harry Potter walking tour. Our guide, Lotty, was exceptional. Very knowledgeable as expected and really immursed herself in the experience, also giving some historical faccts of the buildings. My son is a Big Harry Potter fan and had lots of questions which Lotty knew the answers to. I however have only seen one of the films and never read one of the books but I found myself glued to the content, which was a nice surprise.
Brilliant tour for Harry Potter fans and family alike.

This is an amazing tour! I (huge Harry Potter fan) went with my sister and aunt (muggles..). Benny was such an amazing tour guide - he immediately had everyone excited and was incredibly knowledgeable. We didn't just see a ton of locations that were related to the HP films, but also gained a ton of insight on other historical events of London. It was definitely a highlight of our trip! Benny also made sure to not loose anyone while we made it through the busy streets / underground/ and demos(!). Can't recommend it more!

The tour was fine but the rating is a bit higher due to the efforts of the tour guide, Konstantine, who did a good job of making a personal effort to talk to all of the people taking the tour and once finding out I was in London for a short period, gave recommendations and additional commentary on the city for my short stay. However the overall tour wasn’t my favorite and as expected, you see very little from the movie. If you have time to visit the studios that would be the clear choice over this tour. I found I wished I had spent my limited time another way, but if you have more time in the city the tour is worth it possibly.

Tour walked at a break neck pace frequently leaving the elderly and children behind and spreading the group out for some distance.
The tour is 2 1/2 hours long with most stops having very little to do with Harry Potter. All spots were used in a movie, but the scene items are not there to be viewed anymore. The stops must be explained by the tour guide and aided with still photos from the movie.
Our tour guide was very friendly and seemed very knowledgable, but I would not recommend this tour to a friend or do again. If this is your interest seek out a tour that takes place at the studio to get a more in depth ( or any real depth at all for that matter) experience.
