I was supposed to go on this trip with a friend but ended up going alone. In any unforeseen circumstances, just like what happened to me, one would have worries and I did. However, I decided to go through with it and ended up enjoying the entire trip.

Our tour guide, Monica, was excellent in guiding and giving us info plus history of the various places we visited. I have decided not to go to the main places we went but instead looked around town of Warwickshire and Stratford upon Avon. Even on those places, the allocated 1 hour or 1 1/4 hours to just see them are not enough. In Oxford, I had a good time with the walking tour that was included in the trip.

Our driver Michael Angelo was also very good in making our trip smooth sailing and hassle free.

Overall, it was a good and fun experience.

So many things to see. Not enough time but most importantly we experienced the highlights of most important spots and landmark. Will be excellent if can do a very quick stop at Cotswolds to at least take a picture. Overall trip was great. Our tour guide Monica is excellent with details and history of the places and clear guidance. She is very knowledgeable and pronunciation is clear. Her pink umbrella makes us easy to spot her. Great effort from Steve the driver as well in making sure our trip was safe and on time.

I had an amazing experience with Evan Evans Tour at Warwick Castle. Lovely sunny day and I would to give a special mention to my guide Monica who not just explain everything so well with all the stories about the place but also really friendly and warm person. Truly recommend a tour with her!

The tour of Warwick Castle and grounds including the resident peacock was excellent in both English and Spanish. The overall pace of the tour was perfect. Our guide Saul and driver Barry were both outstanding. Saul was very knowledgeable of and conversant in the history of the area. The tour of Shakespeare’s birthplace and the Cotswalds and Oxford University provided a wealth of information. Saul was also very helpful in providing practical information on excellent places for shopping and dining and even how to find transportation back to our hotel.

I booked two all days tours from this Evan Evans Tour. In the first one, my husband and I went to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath, in the second one, we went to Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-avon, and Oxford. The first one was a nice tour, and the tour guide was good. The second tour was mostly a waste of time, instead of paying £95 per person to this tour you can take a train and visit Warwick Castle yourself. It would be cheaper and you would not be exposed to the tour guide's excessive and meaningless talk. First of all, she talked too much, almost never stopped talking, it was as if she talks enough everybody would be satisfied with the tour. Second, she tried to make jokes but nobody laughed, and more importantly, jokes were offensive many times, for example, 26 yer-old woman is monopausal. When were approaching Staratford-upon-avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, she gave tons of gossip, for example, Shakespeare left his girlfriend pregnant and that's why he married her. Instead of making offensive jokes and gossips, she could have talked about Shakespeare's poems and plays. Finally, I got sick and needed to use the restroom, but she was very hostile and blamed me for this. She said that she told us to use the toilet before Oxford even tough I told her that I used it twice and could not control sickness. She claimed there was no toilet options on the road even though I saw at least three gas stations that we could have stopped. In fact, I did not want to stop the bus in the middle of the road, all I wanted was to use a toilet when we stop but she contined to claim that there was no toilet provision in Oxford. Interestingly, when we got off the bus I immediately found a toilet. The tour guide was always saying words like honey, dear etc but never did anything to show she cared about her customers. Saying honey and dear does not compensate for caring and helping customers. Overall, I don't recommend this tour for anything.

Hi there, Thank you for providing your feedback on our Warwick Castle, Shakespeare's England, Oxford & the Cotswolds tour and we're sorry that you were not happy with your experience. We provide informative and professional guides for these tours so we're quite shocked to hear that you've had this experience. We would appreciate the opportunity to investigate this matter further with the guide so if you could please provide your booking reference number, date of travel and name of the guide to reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk then we can pass this information on to our Operations team to look in to. Due to EU driving regulations we usually cannot stop at Service Stations along the way to use the facilities. The driver can only operate the coach for a certain amount of hours and stopping will be about 30 minutes of the time used as everyone on the coach will be given the opportunity to go inside. As you can understand, this can put out the schedule for the remainder of the tour. There are no public toilet options in Oxford, however some of our guides advise going in to Debenhams department store or McDonalds in the main area. Thank you once again for your feedback and we hope that you can give us the opportunity to follow this matter up with the guide. Kind regards, Evan Evans Team

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel with Evan Evans the other day and I’m glad to say they provided a top service.

Though there’s a lot to cover within the day, as there’s always going to be given you are visiting 4 locations within a day, we were given a fantastic level of freedom to explore as we wished once we arrived to all locations.

It is a tour service I would definitely recommend to one and all especially if they are lucky enough to travel with David (who is a fantastic tour guide) and Joe (our fearless driver)!

If you want to pack 3 days trip into one - you take this trip.

Starts early but is full of activities - Warwick Stratford upon Avon driving though Costwolds and finally ending in Oxford it was a wonderful day with Reiss the guide .

Highly recommended if you want to pack a lot within a short period of time for site seeing around London.

I did this tour two weeks ago and it was conducted in both Spanish and English, which I did not know at the time of booking but was delighted to experience. As a native Portuguese speaker I understand Spanish quite well so it was great to hear the our guide David's commentary in both languages as they were equally funny and insightful. The sights were breathtaking- Warwick Castle especially- and the Oxford portion of the tour was more comprehensive than a similar tour I went on years ago that stopped in Oxford as well. Both David, the guide, and Nadia, our driver, were really fantastic and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting London. The Vox headseats they gave us were especially brilliant as I am used to having guides shouting for the group to hear and on this tour you could linger far behind the group and still hear the guide as clearly as if you were standing next to him.

The day surpassed our expectations - the coach was spotless, driver Aston and guide Phil, great personalities who cared for all guests, all day. Phil was a font of knowledge across the range of activities, dressed a dapper 3-piece Prince of Wales check suit, felt hat and furled umbrella. In Oxford, he changed his purchased Oxford college tie for a Harry Potter striped model. He’s the consummate guide! Well done, both Phil and Aston. The 3 components of the tour were interesting. I guess we were expecting Stratford-on-Avon to be a twee touristy village but it seemed a stylish little place with pop-up, short Shakespearean street performances, and an interesting exhibition of Shakespeare’s life and works. Oxford, buzzing with students and visitors, of immense interest with its colleges, along its centres of research and learning. A great little cosmopolitan commercial centre too. Do go and go with Evan Evans!
