I recently had the pleasure of going on a tour led by James and drive Carlos, and it was an outstanding experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights and stories that brought the location to life. I wished itinerary allowed us to fully appreciate each site without feeling rushed. I highly recommend James for anyone looking to explore the area with a passionate and skilled guide.

We thank our lucky stars that we could book the early morning guided visit within the stone circle. This visit has limited places, is indeed more expensive, and is very early (06h30). Nevertheless, every extra penny and every lost minute of sleep was absolutely worthwhile. Moreover, we were blessed with impeccable weather… just the right amount of dawn sunlight and clouds to give us the best colour textures. In other words, summarising all of the above, it was a most moving and beautiful experience.

The Premium Tours Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lacock, and City of Bath tour was an amazing experience. When I booked the trip I thought that it might be a bit much to get through but at each stop along the way I was glad that I did! I didn't walk nearly as much as I thought I would. Our Tour guide James was humorous and charismatic. He provided us with great information for each location visited and sprinkled some less than known facts about the towns we passed through along the way. Carlos the bus driver was a Stud!! He kept us all very safe, the bus clean, and he was always kind enough to slow down for the landmarks James was providing information for. James and Carlos were always in sync and that greatly contributed to the overall great experience of the trip. Each stop we visited was a memorable experience in its own rights, so it's difficult to choose just one city to call my favorite. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed them all and I would highly recommend reserving this tour with friends and loved ones, although this tour can certainly be enjoyed solo.

There is no doubt that the sights themselves were amazing. It’s England and the history here is incredible however the tour itself was rushed from the beginning.
We were only allowed 45 minutes at Windsor so we had to race through the State Apartments and St George’s Chapel without being able to take the time to appreciate it or even read anything about what we were seeing. Then it was on to our next stop of Stonehenge where we also had 45 minutes so we had to choose between seeing the stones or the other displays out there.
Afterwards we were taken to The Stonehenge Inn for lunch which was mediocre at best. It almost seemed as though our arrival that day was a last-minute surprise as there was fresh white paint on all the walls and door jambs of the women’s toilet. After lunch, we went to the small village of Lacock where we had, you guessed it, 45 minutes to walk around this quaint little hamlet before going on to our last stop of Bath.
Our tour guide John mentioned several times throughout the day that Bath was his favorite and perhaps that was the reason we were given nearly an hour and a half at that location.
In booking the tour, there were only supposed to be 4 stops on the itinerary … Windsor, Stonehenge, pub lunch in Lacock and Bath however on the day we went there were 5 stops since lunch was not combined with Lacock but instead done at The Stonehenge Inn making it another stop where we were given 30 minutes to eat. I believe this change in the itinerary is why John had to rush us through so much of the tour except of course his favorite stop of Bath where we were given significantly more time than any where else.
I would not book again with Premium Tours based on my experience.

Know what you’re getting into with this tour - it’s a long day and the stops only allow for a “highlight” type of experience - but if that’s what you’re looking for, this tour is EXCELLENT for seeing a lot in a limited time. Our guide, Clive, was wonderful. I felt like I got a full stand-up comedy show included in my ticket price. Our driver, Hadar, was a safe and skilled driver. They were very accommodating and stowed my luggage on the bus for me since I was between stays. While the drive was long, the bus was comfortable and the stops were spaced out enough that each leg of the drive was tolerable. We had a decent amount of time at Stonehenge, and enough time for a quick walkthrough of Windsor castle. A highlight for me was seeing a couple Harry Potter filming locations in Lacock. Many thanks to Clive and Hadar for a great tour!

This tour was an incredible way to experience some of England’s most iconic landmarks, with a delightful mix of history, culture, and quintessential charm. Each stop offered something unique, and the well-planned itinerary ensured we could fully enjoy every moment.
Our day began at Windsor Castle, a majestic and historic royal residence that left us in awe. The tour provided ample time to explore the State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel, with insightful commentary from our guide that deepened our appreciation of the castle’s significance.
Next, we visited the mysterious and world-famous Stonehenge. Standing in the presence of these ancient stones was a truly humbling experience.
Lunch in Lacock at George's Inn was a delightful highlight. This charming village felt like a step into the past, with its timeless beauty and quaint atmosphere. The traditional pub lunch (fish and chips) was delicious and added a cozy touch to the day.
Our final stop was Bath, a city bursting with history and elegance. From the stunning Georgian architecture to the fascinating Roman Baths, every corner was captivating.
Throughout the tour, the guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly. They made the journey seamless and added personal anecdotes and fun facts that truly enriched the experience.
This tour is a must for anyone looking to explore England’s rich history and picturesque countryside. It’s a long day, but every moment is worth it!

Hi everybody the trip was amazing and had both nostalgic & adventurous atmosphere I liked it a lot. If you are in London and have some time it is definitely worth a try.
I would recommend you to travel with Steve and Robert from The Tour bus 79.
(at the moment) They are both professionals.
If driver or speaker (Extremely smoothly speaker like a professional storyteller or something like that) it doesn't matter you will possible not find someone better around.
The price is beyond fair, even if not all entry fees are included. You can upgrade your trip in the bus before hand or buy the ticket at the location itself if there are some left over’s available. But it is a very long trip (about 12h)
I would not recommend that trip for parents with unruly children who have no control over themself. Take some water with you in your backpack or just buy it at any stop.
I hope you will enjoy the trip as much as I have and I wish you all the best.

Trip was good but WAY to long. We drove 2 hours from London leaving at 7:45 AM. Because it was a Tuesday, the Windsor castle does not allow visitors. So we just walked around the town for 90 minutes. We then drove to Stonehenge and only had 80 minutes at that site. That was probably enough since the site it much smaller than I imagined.
We then drove an hour to a very quaint village to Leacock. We were given lunch, had to pay for our beer and then walked around the little town for an hour. Not much to see thee
Then we drove an hour to Bath, and once again just walked around the nice village for an hour 45 minutes. I don’t think anyone from our tour went into see the Roman Baths as the tour guide advised against it as he did not feel they worth it as it required an additional fee. Again, a nice town with many nice stores, but we were 9 hours into the day at this point and didn’t really see anything exciting
Then we had a 2.5 hour bus ride back to London. A total of a 13 hour day for $350 for two of us.
I would not recommend this trip

Steve and Carlos were great. Steve provided a lot of information and told jokes to help with the time between stops. Like others have said, this is a jam packed day and you won’t have too much time at each area. Windsor is huge and could do with more time while Stonehenge is beautiful but does not need as much time to explore. Bath was a beautiful city and deserves a weekend visit rather than the small amount this tour has but it does a great job at hitting the highlights. I would recommend eating a breakfast or packing a snack because our lunch ended up being at 5pm.

Because the advertising was deceptive! I purchased a Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Bath, and Pub Lunch package for my party of nine. I took the time to read ALL instructions carefully., checking and double checking.
ONLY to be told we had NO tickets to the Stonehenge site and would have to make an additional purchase upon arrival. Much much WORSE is the fact that the bus operator/tour guide told us, “This happens often. You’re not the only ones,”
Sure enough when we joins that line out at Stonehenge , several people off my bus joined the line to purchase tickets. How can this be?!!
The language on your site is very unclear, That is not fair to your clients. I expect to be refunded the extra cost for tickets we had to purchase (over and above the cost of the package per person).
The tour guide and bus driver for Premium Tours, the bus company you use, were professional, knowledgeable and capable. They made the trip worth it ,despite England’s pesky rainy weather the day of our outing. Each site was a worthwhile stop; the pub lunch was quite enjoyable—-pleasant and accommodating wait staff attended to weary travelers who badly needed a respite and were made to feel our business was appreciated.

We only took the Stonehenge early tour with direct access to the inner structure. I remember when getting back to the visitor center there was a snack bar with basic breakfast offerings.

We would like to see/tour the Roman Baths. I know this tour does not include admission. If we buy our ticket to tour this during our stop in bath, do we have time? Do I buy those tickets in advance or when we get there? Any suggestions/experience with this? Thank you!
Written 25 March 2024
In our tour we got 1.5 hours stop in Bath which is plenty of time for sightseeing. The bus drop you off just a few yards from the entrance to the Roman Baths but it will be a bit of a rush and a gamble as you cannot guarantee free spots for the Baths unless you book in advance which am not sure if you can do it directly online... I would expect during the peak tourist season it would be challenging...

I appreciate everyone who answered my previous question and I have a follow up. I have purchased a London Pass and I have been told that admission to the Windsor castle is included with that. Does that mean I would be exempt from the tour with the company specifically? As an I’ll just have to kind of wander around on my own until the time is up? And I’ve also noted in one of the other answers in my previous question that there was there wasn’t enough time
to visit the baths. I greatly wish to see the baths, even if I have to purchase it myself, so how likely is it through everyone’s experience that I’ll be able to see the baths if I in fact, purchase admission myself and not fall foul of the tour companies time allotted, I guess? As I don’t have any desire to be left behind lol.
Written 16 March 2023
Does this tour include the baths? I’m noticing there’s no purchasing option for admission to the baths?
Written 16 March 2023
The tour includes a trip to the town of Bath.
The entry fee for the roman bath is not included, but can be purchased seperatly

Are there options for vegetarians on the pub lunch? It sounds so neat, but I’m worried there won’t be any options I can eat?
Written 26 June 2022
There was a vegetarian option but I don’t remember what it was. You could always send the vendor an email to confirm.
Written 29 June 2022
The itinerary has lunch listed as the final stop but it is showing a 12 hour tour? Do you actually eat super late or was lunch at a reasonable point in the tour?
Written 24 June 2022
Yes, super late “lunch” but they do stop along the way to grab a snack. Bath was closed when we got there as well…
Written 29 June 2022
I took this tour several years ago and am looking at taking my family this time. I remember the tour bus being very short on leg room and am concerned that my 6'5" tall husband would not fit at all. What are the options for an extremely tall person?
Written 17 June 2022
There are some seats in the front also where no one is in front of you so no one would be reclining in front of you. That may be an option for your husband.
Written 20 June 2022
If the entry for all is sold out, but we still want entry to Windsor Castle, do we get our own tickets online? If so, what time for entry (if timed entry)?
Written 8 June 2022
I would be careful about expecting to get into see Windsor Castle at any time between now (March 2023) and May (2023). When I went on this tour in January of 2023, Windsor Castle was closed to the public. They are making ready for Coronation Day (05/06/23) and the castle is closed several days each week... sometimes without prior notice.
