Our guide, Mike, was very engaging and knowledgeable. He got to know the tourists and tailored his commentary to the things that he thought that they would find interesting. It was great to see parts of the city that we would have missed on our own and we especially enjoyed being shown the street art. One of the things that I found particularly powerful about Mike's presentation, was the way in which he used the plural pronoun 'we' whenever he spoke about the city's historical links to the slave trade. This was thought-provoking and reminded me that all of us share some of the responsibility for and burden of the darker episodes in this country's past.

This tour was a fascinating introduction to Bristol’s history, art, culture and more... A big thank you to Luke who was a really engaging tour guide! I would highly recommend this as a day visitor or for the start of your stay in Bristol as there were lots of interesting places that you could explore further if you had time.

Thoroughly engaging throughout the two hours with Mike. Informative in a non history school teacher kind of way! Regularly amusing, too. We are out-of-towners, but our Bristol hosts (residents 10 years) found much they didn't know either. Fully recommended, and great value for money.

Luke walked us around Bristol for over two hours, pointing out the old and new architecture, street art, interesting facts and an amazing amount of information about the City of Bristol. One of the best walking tours we've been on with a very well informed, knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended.
