Below was what’s supposed to be included… WHAT'S INCLUDED Visit to Garibalis cultural center Local vendor food 6+ local delicacies Garifuna cultural dance Island tour Air-conditioned vehicle Emailed stated pickup was at gate 3, called about the pickup because it didn’t seem like it was correct. Was told a different location and driver name. Driver was late an hr. We did nothing on the list of “what’s included”! Driver took us to 2 “local delicacies” and one was gas station food! Never went to a culture dance! The island tour was through a small town and the driver showed us where he lived! We were supposed to go snorkeling but by the time we got there the location was “full” and we were not allowed to enter! Driver took us to a beautiful beach but ended up paying additional fees. This was a birthday vacation and I wanted the experience to be enjoyable. Luckily the driver did pickup after we were done and take us back to the cruise ship. This experience was not what I paid for and expected! Very disappointed!

Absolutely the worst tour I have ever been on. We were supposed to experience 4 wonderful sounding stops and experiences. We ended up with one stop (for lunch) after an hour drive. No cultural experiences other than lunch no narrative of the wonderful island. Very disappointed. Would not recommend this service at all. We requested a refund, the company was not very accommodating and called us liars. Very sad.

This tour was a complete waste of time and money. It was NOT as advertised and felt like a “bait and switch”. Very disappointing.

This tour was not as advertised. We (8 of us) booked because of the good reviews and description of 4 different stops. First being the Roatan Stone Factory, 2nd the Roatan Chocolate Factory, 3rd a stop at a vendor to sample patelito and ballads, and 4th in Punta Gorda for a sampling of local foods. We only experienced the 4th....after a 2 hour uncomfortable van ride. This tour is not recommended as we experienced it. Very disappointed and also disappointed in the lack of resolution with the operator.

This experience was AMAZING! The guide was very knowledgeable & friendly! I would do this EVERYTIME I visit! GREAT experience, especially for the price!

We booked this tour to see the wildlife, the mangrove tunnels and experience the Flamingo Cultural Center. We did see the Monkeys and Sloths, we toured the Mangrove tunnels, but we DID NOT get to the Flamingo Cultural Center. We paid to go to the Flamingo Center, but instead our driver took us to a restaurant/tour company where we were expected to purchase a lunch and then someone at the restaurant gave us a quick history of the Garifuna people. We were not informed of this change and when we ordered our lunch, it was not what we were told it would be and they could not give a cost until after we finished and it cost us over $77.00 CA. We are not happy with this tour or the company. I will not be recommending this company or tour to anyone.

We had an amazing time on this tour. We had booked by their website before traveling. Prior to the tour, we had told them about our preferences, the helped us to make a right plan as we were traveling with a kid. We learn a lot about the island culture and history. I must say they went an extra mile to make our trip a memorable one. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the areas and spoke English extremely well. We also visited the monkey and sloth park and the beach. Our little one absolutely love the sloths, everything was so amazing.

We hired Shorn to take us to the west side of the island. He is an exceptional driver and host. I had been there 15 years ago in the navy and was looking for a certain beach which I remembered and he listened to my description to it and took us right there. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. I will use him as my private driver every time my family and I are in town.

Great time doing something that I thought was scary but it really wasn't. Just remember to lift your legs at the landing dock otherwise you might have a banged up shin like I had. Oh well part of the fun and you remember to lift your legs next time :) Enjoy the moments!!!

We had the best time! The Roatan experience is definitely worth it! Steven and Hormon took great care of us. They even went out of their way to make sure we ate authentic Honduran food. I definitely recommend this experience!

We had the best tour guide with an amazing personality! He made our trip to Roatan better than we had ever imagined! We cant wait to come back and stay longer than just a stop on a cruise!

We were on an MSC cruise and one of our ports was Roatan. Not knowing what to expect, we book this shore excursion. We met up with our guide, Michael and he was an exceptional guide. The bus was a little cramped, but it was air conditioned so that was great because it was really hot and humid. Michael gave us the history of the island and highlights that we might otherwise not known if we had gone on our own. We took a short boat ride over to Big French Key where we were served refreshments and watched the Garifuna people perform their native dances. While there you could take a swim if you wanted to. Then back on the sightseeing tour taking you to some of the most amazing panoramic views. You will see the stilt village of Oak Ridge and Punta Gordy also. This was a fantastic time and would encourage anyone going to Roatan to take this excursion. It was called Far Away Sightseeing Island Tour.

Shorn was very accommodating. Took us to see many points of interest with a wealth of knowledge of his island. Drove safely and stopped whenever we asked him to. We asked him to take us to his favorite lunch spot and where locals go so we can have local dishes to eat. It was just what we were looking for, very good food there. We felt we were in good hands the entire time with Shorn. We had a great time seeing the island with him.

We hired Shorn Rich as our excursion tour guide and we were exceptionally pleased with our experience. He was very kind, friendly and funny. He planned our excursion based on what we personally wanted with the best pricing. He took us to the tour monkey and sloths then to Little French Key. He was waiting for us upon return to get us back to the pier with time to still shop in Routan. It was by far the Best excursion and tour guide we’ve ever had in our past 13 cruises and will absolutely see him again soon. Highly recommend!!!!
