This trip was perfect from start to finish, such a memorable experience. We saw so many whales on their migration, we definitely lost count. Single whales, pods, mothers with their calves, we were extremely lucky that day. The crew was excellent at spotting whales in the distance and pulling up close without ever interfering with these majestic creatures. Great opportunities to take photos from a short distance. The crew was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about the whales and marine wildlife conservation efforts. We then landed on Fraser Island with an amphibian vehicle which was quite the highlight. The kayaking and floating experiences were truly unique and we also had some time to relax on the beach and enjoy the warm waters. Later we climbed one of the famous sand dunes and enjoyed the magnificent views. Morning tea and lunch were also very enjoyable. The whole trip was very well planned and executed, and the crew was outstanding. If I could give ten stars I would. Keep up the great work!

Booked the Remote Fraser Island and Whale Experience + Half Day Whale Watching Encounter. What fantastic tours!!! Crew were so friendly, knowledgeable and committed to the conservation of whales and other marine species. Great mix of activities on the full day tour, amazing commentary on both days, catering was fabulous and we even got to swim with the humpies from a mermaid line. Highly recommend.

Remote Fraser Island tour has an exceptional team onboard. They each thoroughly enjoy their jobs, and it shows. They are friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, with wonderful skills and are ready to provide guests with the best day, filled with fun. Extremely well managed time allows guests to be immersed in each experience at the various locations. This tour exceeded all expectations. We arrived as a family of 9 (some Aussie, some international), including a senior, an infant, a toddler and two children (8 & 12), we also had varied dietary requirements and English literacy, but we all agreed this was the best and most memorable experience. The highlight was the breathtaking, up close and personal experience with the beautiful whales and their calves, with detailed commentary from the crew. We've been on whale tours in NZ and Patagonia, but this was exceptional. At times, the whales were just a few metres from the boat and wow, they really put on a show! We also enjoyed some kayaking with the kids (even bubs) and loved the tubing. The snorkelling was OK but there wasn't much to see, but playing on the white sand beaches and dunes was fab. Now to the crew- they were knowledgeable, hospitable, friendly and professional. The day ran perfectly, as it was well organised and coordinated, but we never felt rushed. The staff went out of their way to cater to all of our needs and helped everyone so we could simply enjoy and take it all in. They thought of every small detail to make the day extra special such as taking candid photos of our family and sending them to us, providing extra special treats for the vegetarians/vegans and kids, and helping when our toddler was feeling a bit seasick. Honestly, every single crew member was exceptional, brought value to the experience and clearly loved their work, which made this a stand-out tour for us. All of the food was awesome. Truly an unbeatable and memorable day for all ages and we cannot recommend it or thank Tasman Venture enough.

What an amazing day, the crew worked so hard to make the trip enjoyable. We did kayaking, tube riding and snorkelling, not to mention whale watching galore. Excellent commentary and opportunities for photos, highlight was when they cut the engine and put the microphone in so we could hear the whale song. Exceeded expectations in all aspects, including the morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Fantastic day out to see the majestic hump back whales up close. We were lucky enough to see many of them with their calves putting on a show. The staff were great & lunch provided was nice. The only downfall was that we felt the activities were a little rushed & we did not get to see much of K’gari Island. Overall an amazing experience and I would highly recommend taking this tour.

Today a good friend joined me for her first time, on a Whale Watching Cruise. The staff of Tasman Venture greeted us with a welcoming smile, and the rest of the day just got better as time passed by. Being a smaller vessel, we got up very close to the magnificent mammals, and the commentary by Vicky, (I'm fairly sure that's her name), was second to none. I can thoroughly recommend a day out with Tasman Venture.

We had the most wonderful time on- and offboard. We’ve had multiple whale sightings, with the animals drawing real close to the vessel, all while Leah shared insights about these wonderful creatures. Josh and Harmony acted as fun tour guides and had great stories and infos to share, e.g. about the underground basin system of K‘gari feedinf the fresh water streams on the remote island. We did some kayaking, snorkeling and walking atop a dune. All in all we had a tremendously fun day with and would go again anytime

An excellent full day of activities plus the whale experience I had hoped for. Can't praise the team enough for their expertise, enthusiasm and effort to make the day memorable.

We got to see so many whales and had the opportunity to swim with them! The staff is amazing, they were very nice, fun and experienced. Great activities, delicious food. Exceeded my expectations!

Fantastic cruise with all very experienced staff members. They are all very knowledgeable & friendly. I had done 5 whale watching over the years & this is the best ever. Saw about 10 whales all together & very close up. The whales was playing & flipping very close to our boat. This is a all day cruise with Whale watching & to K’gari island which was called Fraser Island before. It is a beautiful island & you can do snorkelling, kayaking & swimming there. Morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea also included. They will also accommodate dietary requirements. & they offer most of the hotels & motels free pick up. I will be back for sure.🥰
