Where do I start with this one? First of all, you get flooded with whatsapp messages about other additional trips the driver wants to offer to you. Then the driver wanted confirmations about the trip even though everything was already paid for and a date and time had been set. Next, it was a one-way trip (the return trip would have costed extra). However, the description on this page says it includes "Stay 3 hours In Ma'in Hot Springs " and "Then Come back To Dead Sea." I very obviously wasn't interested in an overpriced return trip from this questionable driver so I declined. He then left me some voice mail via whatsapp explaining how "all the taxis are booked" and I wouldn't get a taxi back. I still declined the return trip if I had to pay for it. On the day of the actual trip, I was greeted by a picture of Saddam Hussein hanging from the rearview mirror when I got into his car. We did only one "stop" on the way there (which was about 3 minutes long). Admittedly, it was a nice view of the dead sea but it really just was along the way. The other stop would have been some gift shop I wasn't interested in so I declined. Of course, at Ma'in it was no problem to get a taxi back so what he had said turned out to be completely wrong. I simply called some other random taxi at the reception and it only charged half the price for the return trip (and also would have stopped at the view point). I swear that I'm not exaggerating - all of this actually happened. I should have really just cancelled and taken the taxi service offered by the hotel instead. It would have been cheaper (even at a 5 star hotel) and less annoying. Stay away from this guy.

So the tour is very cool..but be aware you are totally fit a d don't scare easily. The canyon is all slippery rocks which you have to climb. Not all ropes are fixed the best way possible plus try not to slip because bolt and nuts stick out so you can really really hurt yourself. No helmets are provided which would make sense. Costs are outrages.. JOD 42 for 2 people.. plus if you want to take a picture and bring your camera or phone you will need a waterproof bag. They rent these for JOD 10!!!! So again very cool but man what a scam

No words to tell you how much exciting was the trip, I enjoyed every single part of it really I Lost in the fun

We had 2 amazing days with Ala’a driving us to the desert castles and to Jerash and Ajloun. He is a good driver, calm and i felt safe with him all the time (specially when it was a lot of fog). Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short because of covid19 lockdown but Ala’a stayed with us until we found a flight and took us shopping. We felt lucky to have him as our driver in those stressful moments and as soon as this virus nightmare will end, we will go back and see the rest of Jordan with him.

We met Alaa in jordan who took us around Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum & Aqaba. Alaa is a very soft spoken, knowledgeable & a good driver. I really recommend him for your trip to Jordan

We met Ala'a when we called online an Uber from the Dead Sea Spa Hotel to Madaba. He took us to Mount Nebo and Madaba and back to the hotel. And the next day from the same hotel to Petra and back. He speaks English and can give you information about places to visit and so on. Punctual, attentive, polite. An excellent driver with a very comfortable (!) car. He has got reasonable and advantageous prices corresponding to the quality. I'm recommending him.
