About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Guillermo Aleja... D0 contributionsBAD experience! The waterfalls are stunning, but there were several issues that made the tour fall short of expectations. First, 40 minutes before they were supposed to pick us up at the hotel, we were informed they couldn’t come because of “road closures” in Toronto. We were asked to take a taxi to another hotel where they would be waiting for us, and they assured us they would cover the cost of the Uber. However, when we arrived at the other hotel, there were no road closures in sight, which made it seem like they simply didn’t pick us up because it was inconvenient for them. While they did reimburse the Uber cost, we had to spend extra time commuting, which was not what we signed up for. To get the refund, they said the driver would reimburse us in cash. I had to ask him multiple times, and only at the very end of the trip (when he was about to drop us back at the hotel) did he reluctantly give us the money back. Speaking of money, I still don’t understand the tour’s cost. It seemed very high for what we received. We spent hours on the road making stops that didn’t make much sense. The driver was rushed and occasionally rude. In summary, I wouldn’t recommend this tour based on its cost-benefit ratio.Written 3 January 2025
- Venture5470050 contributionsNot delivering what was promised. Shabby vehicle. No hotel pick up. No restroom in the bus.The company did not pick us up from the hotel as per the agreement. We had to reach a new place to board. Our phone calls were never returned .There were no restrooms in the bus which was agreed on. The vehicle was quite shabby and dirty. The driver took 10 stops for pickups which made the trip travel time to 3 hrs instead of 1.5 hrs. Will not recommend anyone to use zoom travel.Written 6 October 2024
- 949reenat0 contributionsAMAZING!!!This experience was absolutely amazing!!! It was too good that I had to do a review. The shuttle had spots that they would pick up and it was nice that they waited for those that missed it the first time. The bus ride didn’t seem that long. The tour guide/ driver was very knowledgeable and funny. The boat ride to see it up close was beautiful and absolutely breathtaking. The views from the hotel dinner was the perfect location to see the view. Maple syrup tasting was a cool new experience. The buffet was good, plenty of options. Seeing the Niagara Falls at night was a totally different experience. Highly recommend this tour to everyone! Worth it!Written 5 October 2024
- DJArmit0 contributionsNiagara Falls view tour with Cruise and lunchThe Zoom tour bus called by our Eglinton ave hotel for pickup and drop off. A big day but packed full. We loved the small group tour with 7 of us, it made it easy to maximise time at each stop. Our driver Garry was experienced and skilled in driving in heavy traffic. We found his advice helpful on where to go to catch the cruise, where to meet him and when, where to get good photos. The highlight of our day was the fallsview lunch which we booked with our tour as an add on option.. The lunch at Fallsview grand buffet was very good and the views across the falls are truly awesome. Highly recommend booking Zoom tours to Niagara Falls.Written 1 October 2024
- Mark_S1863780 contributionsGreat tripWe got a little worried when we read the odd poor review. I’m sorry for those people but I have to say our trip was phenomenal. There was about 18 of us on the one clean tidy coach. We were picked up bang on time. At this point I should mention Johnny. He was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic. Involved the group, made everyone welcome and cracked one liners all trip. He’s obviously a clever guy because he had all the info too. I can honestly say he made the trip for us. That said the stops were really interesting and the falls were amazing for us as first time visitors. We also booked the dinner at the Sheraton. When we got up there Johnny had reserved and sectioned off an area for us. It had the most amazing views of the falls as darkness set in. After dinner we went to the falls again to view the illuminations. All in all a superb experience. Thanks Zoom and THANKS JOHNNYWritten 29 September 2024
- WindyGyle0 contributionsDwayne's World - Party on!I went on the Day Tour to Niagara Falls that included sightseeing and the boat trip. Overall, the trip was excellent, and our driver and tour guide, Dwayne, was fantastic (if you’re reading this Zoom Tours, then give him a promotion!). I have to say I was a bit nervous after reading the small number of negative reviews on here, but honestly, I can’t fault the trip. The only minor issue was that we were not collected from our hotel of choice, and instead asked to meet downtown at another hotel. This wasn’t a huge issue for me personally, and is totally understandable given the need to balance the needs of the schedule, but this could perhaps be an issue for others. Other than that, the day went really smoothly, and I really enjoyed Dwayne’s excellent commentary throughout the day on the social history and geography of the region. On arrival in Niagara we were on the boat within minutes, and then we had 90 mins after that to explore the area before heading off on the bus to a series of other interesting stops. Dwayne also went above and beyond at Niagara on the Lake, risking the wrath of local residents and traffic control to take us direct into the centre of the town so that we could enjoy an extra 30 minutes of sight-seeing and ice creams. The circling community transport minibus (official town transport) made our military-style fly-by extraction onto our minibus from the main street very exciting. Finally, despite some pretty awful traffic, we arrived back in Toronto by 5:30. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on – I would highly recommend it.Written 21 September 2024
- 997mirelled0 contributionsWonderful fallsThis is a great trip. Highly recommended. Our tour guide Dwayne was fantastic. Very upbeat and positive. The trip is nicely paced and of course there niagra falls are breathtaking. You must do the boat!Written 20 September 2024
- zoecrow0 contributionsAmazing experience and brilliant guide/driver GarryIt was a really brilliant day exploring. We saw so much of niagra falls and niagra on the lake. Garry the driver and guide was very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this trip.Written 14 September 2024
- darrenm1430 contributionsBe more clear about price in US dollars; more expensive than other companies, long wait for refund. The price was in US dollars and was way more expensive than other tour companies who listed in Canadian dollars. When I cancelled, refund was still not posted 6 weeks later. I had to call to get refund posted, which was done immediately.Written 30 August 2024
- charlessV7780BG0 contributionsWould not do this tour again.Bus trip was way too long. We were late getting picked up, then had several other stops to pick up more passengers. We requested a hotel pickup but were told after the fact where we had to meet the bus. This required an uber ride to a coffee shop downtown. Traffic in downtown Toronto is the worst I have ever experienced. The Boat ride was the highlight but the other stops did not offer much. Better off just booking the boat ride on your own. We opted for the optional buffet at the Sheraton. It was a nice buffet but not sure it was worth $50 per person. The tables they have set aside for the tour group did not offer a view of the falls. We did not make it back to the pickup point until after midnight then had to wait for a ride back to the hotel.Written 28 August 2024
- NorthStar486974510880 contributionsNot enough time to exploreBooked trip with my family. Bus came on time at 12:45 for pick up, but took 2h to get all guests on the board. There was a bit traffic, so, we took back route, which was ok. Due to festival we didn't stop in village on the Lake. We arrived to Niagary at 7pm, so, took 6hours to come there! We had Stops on the way, but not enough time to explore- always 10min or 20min(once). Our guide Anthony was knowledgeable and great, can't fault him. Boat trip was great, had 2h of free time. Can't comment on dinner as didn't have it. Travel back to hotel took 2.5hWritten 4 August 2024
- janinness0 contributionsDO NOT USE THIS COMPANYDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Advertised as small group tour, hotel pick up and one of the stops being Niagara on Lake. NONE of this happened and company refusing to acknowledge any wrong doing or give any refund We were a group of 9 and booked small tour with hotel pick up. We were told with less than 24 hours notice of a different pick up point that was not even in walking distance. We had to get Uber to the pick up point, it was a 50 seater coach not a small vehicle, we had to wait and did not depart on time due to others being late, then had to go to airport for pick up, then late leaving Niagara - all leading to no stop at Niagara on Lake as advertised. Now taking legal advise on this as such poor attitude being shown from the companyWritten 23 July 2024
- Sunshine_slo0 contributionsNice, but a bit weirdThe tour was okay, but I don't really believe it was worth the money... The guide was okay, but the stops we did, weren't really worth visiting. We even skipped at least one, that would probably be worth seeing it (Niagara at the lake). I don't know, maybe that one was skipped, because on the way to Niagara our car broke down, so we lost some time there, so overall it was a nice but also a bit weird experience.Written 17 July 2024
- shaunbE4452OP0 contributionsA great day outAmazing trip with tour glide Johnny providing a great deal of info and humour. Comfortable bus, great lunch at the Sheraton with amazing views of falls, trip on the Hornblower and yes you do get wet but its worth it. highly recommend Zoom.Written 13 July 2024
- AndrewF31_KA0 contributionsGreat afternoon and evening tour to Niagara Falls and Niagara regionA terrific tour by day and night to Niagara Falls and the region around. Johnny, our tour guide, was fun and knowledgeable, sharing a lot of stories along the way. We passed through different areas of the Niagara region, including vineyards, a small chapel, and going through Niagara-on-the-Lake, first stopping for a brief view of the Niagara river, with the US on the other side and the opening to Lake Ontario, and then a 40 minute break in town for a brief stroll on the main street, including a stop for Ice Cream, admiring all the nice buildings and flowers and some souvenir watching. The final stop at Niagara Falls was all that was advertised. The Hornblower ride was quick to get on and then the ride into the falls is marvelous. We ended up adding the buffet dinner at the Sheraton in the end and didn't regret it. The views to the falls and city from the balcony are great. The food choice was nice, and saves you time. A brief stroll through the center, including the crazy Clifton Hill ('Las Vegas' is more and more inflated with extravagance) before the night show (glowing falls and a bit of fireworks) and heading back to Toronto.Written 6 July 2024

Great way to spend a day in the Niagra Falls area. Fabio proved to be very passionate about tourism and had lots of information on various areas/buildings etc. He provided interesting and factual commentary along the routes. In addition, we had plenty of time at each stop and did not feel rushed at all. However, if you were looking to spend more time on the Clifton Hill strip, I would recommend an additional trip out.
The only downside to the tour was the bus itself. It did not have working air conditioning, nor did the windows open. The only way to get air in was the emergency exit on the roof - when the bus was in motion. The lack of air + heat + masks made it very difficult to breathe on the bus. It made for a very uncomfortable ride as the day warmed up. Several people on the bus had made fans out of their maps in attempt to get air on themselves.

This tour was a wonderful way to see all Niagara Falls has to offer without the stress of not knowing your way around. Our tour guide Gary was great. We went to Niagara Falls, the whirlpool, the Floral Clock, drove around the city, had lunch at the Sheraton and even made a pit stop at a Maple shop for syrup and fudge tastings. Highly recommend!

The tour was incredible. We had the best tour guide on the planet. Fabio......it was a pleasure for myself and husband to experience our first trip to Canada with you. Fabio showed such a wealth of knowledge, high energy and a personality that made the tour feel not like a tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Niagara Falls with him.
The only thing I was disappoint with the tour was the lunch.
Not much of a selection for the price. This part of the tour needs to be worked on.
My suggestion would be to partner with a better location that offers a better quality and selection of food.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback and appreciating Fabio for his excellent work! The buffet menu is pre-set by the hotel authorities, therefore; we do not have any say, but definitely we can look into this matter further with them and bring it to their attention.
We appreciate your feedback and look forward to serving you again in the future!

The Niagara Falls are a sight to see. Nobody tells you that you need to walk down a 190 foot ramp that twisted and turned down to the Niagara River below. The boat ride was spectacular as shown in the photographs. However, there is no way to go back up the ramp with disabilities. We finally had to convince someone to use a golf cart to get us back to the top. Then we had to walk around the park to get back to the bus. What a nightmare. It’s not cool that the city of Niagara doesn’t have capability for disabled people.

My favorite part of the trip were the Niagara Falls related activities such as the cruise and the behind the falls experience. The tour guide, Fabio, was excellent. He had all the local history memorized, portrayed great passion, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. While most tour guides would simply drop us off and give us our tickets. Fabio stood in line with us, and made sure we went to the correct place and within a reasonable time, and even ate lunch with us.

We had such an amazing experience! From the tour to our tour guide Fabio. He knew everything, was kind and took some amazing pictures of us. Fabio made us feel welcomed and warm on a cold day. I really enjoyed the tour specially with Fabio. I really can’t say enough but how amazing he was. He made the tour fun. He showed us places that were on the way to Niagara Falls that no other tour would. If you get the chance to have Fabio as your tour guide, best believe you will have the best experience!!! Here are some pictures Fabio took of us. Beside a tour guide he is good at taking pictures. he can even be your photographer. Take care of Fabio because this man works extended hours and made the tour group feel comfortable.

John was an amazing tour guide. He went way above and beyond what I feel a tour of Guide should do. If you decide to book a tour in Niagara falls, request zoom and John if possible. Talks a little fast but the fact that he was born and raised there knows a lot of little things that you probably wouldn't find from a normal tour guide. His knowledge of the history of that area is also very interesting. I learned a lot and had a great time on the tour, especially with the group that was with us. Took up group photo together. So like I said choose zoom request John. Thanks for the great tour John. Bye,

My husband and I were part of a day group tour and were greeted warmly by Fabio, who is the driver AND also our fantastic tour guide! :)
The trip was smoothly planned and we definitely recommend the whole package if you are up for an adventure and memorable experience!
As for Fabio, we couldn't thank him enough for being so informative and we really liked how straightforward he is with instructions.
We will definitely book with the same tour company when we come back to Ontario w/ family & friends and would recommend it highly.

The boat trip, journey behind the falls and whirlpools were amazing. The views were stunning and I got absolutely soaked on the boat, but it was totally worth it to be that close to the falls! There was a good selection of food at lunch.
Our tour guide Gary was friendly, informative, shared interesting knowledge and truly made the trip one to remember. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best day with our guide Fabio, it was so hard to say good bye. What a gem! We got picked up in Toronto and had the best day and evening in Niagara with a walk behind the falls, boat ride, we visited the cutest little marked and Fabio spread his wisdom and wittiness the whole trip. Thank you, Fabio!

Yes, it's a long ride down in the van, but the van driver tells you about different sites as you ride. At the Falls you will get to ride one of the boats and get close to the Falls. You will get wet, be prepared for that. Then you walk directly to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch you have time to souvenir shop. The ride home has several stops: winery, smallest church, and a historical park. Then another very quiet ride home. Enjoy!

Hi, we are staying in Toronto the evening before the visit to Niagara and then staying at Niagara Falls the evening of the visit. What time does your tour start and end and is it possible to say farewell to you guys when it comes to returning to Toronto? Thanks
Written 21 January 2019
This tour starts very early in the morning because it is about 3 hours to the Falls from Toronto. You will ride straight there - you can nap along the way. But, on the return ride, you will stop at several tourist areas - winery for a tasting, etc. Finally, you will have the 3 hour ride home - again to nap. In short, you live before sunrise and arrive way after sunset.
