Overview
Get a taste of Toronto’s multicultural history on a leisurely food and walking tour of Old Town. Visit the area’s gems as you listen to little-known anecdotes about its turbulent history. The tour ends at St. Lawrence Market, which can be overwhelming to navigate alone. Follow your guide through the market to enjoy 14 samples representing a diverse range of cuisines.
What to Expect

The tour begins in the morning at St. Lawrence Market. Fuel up for day with freshly-baked croissants and a hot drink from an independent coffee shop.

Start the tour at Toronto’s oldest church, home to one of Canada’s most prized stained-glass collections. As you make your way through Old Town, your guide provides a historical overview of the city and points out landmarks you may not have recognized on your own.

Circle back to St. Lawrence Market for an array of food samplings, including Jewish bagels, Ukrainian pierogies, and Indian candy. With over 100 vendors, the market can be overwhelming—let your guide navigate to the best stalls for you.

Great tour!

Great tour of historical Toronto by someone who knows a lot of the history. Food was great and and were all small independent businesses who knew what they were doing. Definitely recommend!

Great information and amazing food!

The tour was broken up into great segments. Starting with a pastry and coffee before we did a walking tour. I had the best maple pecan danish ever! The old town tour had some great info. It corroborated what I had heard on another tour...More

A Must Visit

We loved the St. Lawrence Market. The food is very good with a huge selection. The shops are interesting. This market is a MUST SEE in my opinion.

Go early!

Very large selection of specialty food shops but they close by 6pm. So if you want to really get a taste for some of this delicious looking food, go midday and have a few samples and tastings for lunch.

Most of the items we tried were not gluten free, however, if you let the guide know, he will work around it. You could eat the cheeses, salmon, coffee, and the meats..

There is some street parking, but also a garage very close by. Like others have said, costs vary by tour company, but it’s defiy worth the. OST for the amount of food you get.
