    Trip disappointment
It was a part of the trip but the company didn’t take us there. Was disappointed because I was very interested in the views front upside

    Save your money
Base of tower is sadly outdated. Only one elevator worked. Food was outrageously expensive. Required minimum is $49 per person. Meatball appetizer was not great. Shrimp & scallops Provençal was over cooked. Caesar salad was terrible as the dressing was watery and the lettuce was not crisp. We ordered 3 apps each (told that was required) we had two drinks. Total came to $225 CAD with tip. While it was cool to sit and dine in a revolving restaurant, 75% of the view is of empty parking lots and deteriorating real estate. You can pay to get up to the observation deck if you want to see the falls from above. Save your money and choose a better restaurant and just get a ticket to go to the observatory.

    A good experience
If you are going to be at Niagara Falls, Canadian side, spend a bit of time at Skylon tower. The restaurant is over priced, but you can purchase tickets for the observation tower only and enjoy all the surrounding views.

Go late for buffet dinner and (seasonal) fireworks
We went to the Buffet Dinner. It was CAD $59/pp and included the observation ticket. Alcoholic drinks were about CAD $10-$16. For four adults we spent about CAD $300 (US$250) with tip, but we only got a couple of beers. I think it was completely worth it and would highly recommend. We wanted to go to a buffet and the other buffets we saw (not in great locations and no view) were around $26/pp - so if you add in night tickets to the observation deck, you are pretty close to the same price. The food had more variety and was better than I expected for a buffet in a tourist building. We really liked the shrimp and mussels. The prime-rib was a bit dry and needed gravy. The salads were all pretty good (slaw, beet, potato, green, etc.) but the calamari was a bit chewy. The dessert station had variety if a bit heavy on the maple flavor. The staff were super attentive. At 7:00 pm we made an on-line reservation for 8:00 pm on a Friday night with no problem (they would not let us check in before 7:45). Going late times well with seeing the lights illuminate the falls. We were also able to see the fireworks after dinner. There are no bad views in the buffet area - the "rear" of the building, looking away from the falls, is reserved for the kitchen area. They do push the professional photos but we skipped all of that. There is an arcade downstairs if you need to wait.

    Incredible View Of The Falls
This ferris wheel is enormous! We went at night and timed it perfectly to see the fireworks. We had to best view of the show! Would love to do it again during the day to see how far we could see!

We visited this place but did not end up going to the top. An awesome sight, as the views can be spectacular on a clear day.

Visit Skylon Tower if you can!
Amazing dinner and views from Skylon Tower today. We ate at the buffet restaurant, delicious selection of foods with starter, mains, desserts, cheese & coffee/tea for $50 per head (£37) Staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Parking is so easy in the town, even for the motorhome with multiple parking lots offering all day parking for $5-10

    Great views of the Falls!!
Can't beat the views from the top. We went for the buffet restaurant. Many choices. If you go for 5PM you can be pretty sure of a table near the window.

Beautiful Views and a delicious meal
We had a delicious early dinner that included admission to the observation level. Service was wonderful! The views of the various falls and the river were breathtaking during our meal and afterward from observation area. Restaurant rotates so you have the opportunity to see everything for miles in every direction.

    Fantastic! Highly recommended
We ate at the Skylon Tower, choosing the buffet restaurant at $50. As it costs $20 just to go up to the observatory, we thought the price was okay. The food was really good, and as it is an all you can eat buffet, there's plenty of choice and the food is good quality (except the 'chicken fingers' were awful - tasted old as well as being cold!). Our table was booked for 5pm and we arrived to check in at 4.45pm, securing a window seat. The views are truly amazing. Highly recommended.

Most beautiful view ever while eating!
Had a great dinner at the buffet with a Perfect view of niagara falls while we ate. The buffet was wonderful (a little pricy for a buffet dinner) But the view while eating was worth it. The meal also came with a free ticket to the observation deck, and what a view. Tip: for the best view reserve dinner early in the evening .

    Amazing views,and a good Buffet.
My wife booked the Skylon tower buffet before we arrived in Niagra, and to be fair we really enjoyed it.like other reviewers have stated the tower is looking its age but the reception area and lifts up and down are well organised ,so no long wait. We were seated at a table for two next to the windows and wow !!! the views are fantastic.but to honest regardless were your sitting the views are stunning. The buffet isn’t the biggest ,so don’t expect a Vegas casino sized one ,but the selection was good and we enjoyed are food. After our meal your ticket includes a trip to the viewing platform, and again great views. A really good experience we both enjoyed and if I’m being honest probably the best meal we had during are stay in Niagra falls.

Well worth a visit. If you book a meal deal for the free entry to the top, you will not be able to go up before your meal. And really, the view from the restaurant is actually better, and because you are revolving, it makes it a great experience. The food was only OK, nothing really worth reviewing. The service however was very friendly and efficient. If you sit by the window in the restaurant you get to read lots of fun facts regarding Niagara Falls as you are rotating around.

Niagara fall is a must see if visiting the Toronto area. Planned to spend an evening there.I now would recommend a full day to enjoy every thing offered. Be aware of the area traffic! We arrived around 530 pm,lots of parking available $10 day at Skylon Tower. Purchased tickets,to view fireworks.discount coupons available.(3 adults $54) Short walk to the falls.Very crowded but plenty of places to get photos selfies.Washrooms closed the time we were there, keep that in mind. Another 15min walk to to tourist area. Amusement park shops restaurants,to many to mention take in one evening. We returned to Skylon Tower around 915 it was very crowded.really nice views of the area, lighted falls were nice. Fire works 10 pm major disappointment! left after only a minute. Attendant in elevator told us wise move leaving ,5 mins? of fireworks ,then up to an hour wait to get back down,

To get the most of this awesome view then you have to buy the Day/night pass which allows you to go up the tower twice in one day.
Go in daylight for amazing views of the Canadian falls and American Falls.Superb photo location.
Go up again after dark for even more stunning shots you will never forget.
Worth every buck when you do it this way.
It may seem a lot at the time but hey... it is one of those things that you will probably do only once in your life ! (Although I did do it 30 years ago in the daylight and wished I had done the night time too ...so now mission accomplished!)

The view is nice. At the entrance they take a picture of you. After that you can see the picture that has been take at the desk. I didn't know that I couldn't take a pic of the screen with my smartphone. I took one to ask my friend via wattsap which pic to choose as we can only choose 2 of them. The seller, an indian guy at the desk was very rude. Instead of telling me that it's not allowed was accusing me of taking a pic and also that I had to pay for it. He kept on insisting
I felt so bad like I stoll something. I don't mind paying a pic' but the way he talked to me was unacceptable. I had to show him that the picture was deleted from my phone. Very poor customer service. Next time don't talk to customer like that. You really need a training on the quality if customer service.

We went to the Skylon for dinner on Thursday night of the Victoria long weekend. We made reservations for the 5pm seating which has a prefix menu for $55. There were four of us and we all ordered the prime rib. It started with bread at the table, a small garden salad and then the main course of prime rib, potatoes and broccoli followed by a chocolate mouse for dessert. I have to say everything was delicious. The prime rib was the biggest I've ever seen and cooked to perfection. You have an option to upgrade your dessert for an additional $5 which I'd definitely recommend.
There service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly. The view was fantastic. If possible get a seat next to the window. We were a little disappointed that we didn't. After dinner you can go up to the observation deck which is included in your dinner price.
This is a definite must do when in Niagara Falls.

The trip up to Skylon Tower was unremarkable. However, once up to the observation deck, it is a sight to behold! Unfortunately it was very foggy and overcast on the day we were there so we didn’t get the clearest views. We found it worthwhile and economical to make reservations at the Buffet restaurant because that includes the ride up to the tower. We enjoyed the variety and quality of food.

We dined at the Summit Suite buffet for dinner with a 8:30 pm reservation. In order to reach the restaurant, we had to wait 20+ minutes in line on the first floor for the yellow elevator. While waiting in line, all the diners were asked to have their photos taken. This buffet dining room does not rotate. There were plenty of food choices. Prime rib and the fish of the day were highlights. Dessert selection was quite good. Otherwise the food was mostly average. Some tables were situated right next to the window with great views of the falls. Our table was farthest from the window and had no such views. We stayed for the 10 pm fireworks but had to move and stand closer to the tables by the window in order to view the fireworks. After dinner, we walked up one flight of stairs to the observation deck. Overall I wouldn’t necessarily recommend going to the buffet at Skylon Tower specifically for the food (at this price point), but rather for the unique experience and spectacular views.

Wonderful dining experience while being rotated 360 degrees presenting you with Beautiful views of the Niagara skyline. Food & service excellent. I read some have thought expensive 🤔 Personally I thought it were good value for money as whole experience is unique. We booked for 8pm, you have a 2 hour slot but as they don’t take bookings after 10pm you don’t feel rushed as you may do booking a daytime table, just my thoughts. The meal & view are completed by a piano player gently playing in the back ground. This experience is a must when visiting Niagara Falls.

We had a great time even though it was raining, plus the concierge let us know the ticket gives $10 off the meal at the Skylon restaurant. Everyone was polite and patient as we asked a million questions which they must have heard a mlion times. Very helpful

If you’re visiting Niagara Falls and want incredible 360 views, this tower will make it possible and get those memorable pics and vids. There are shops below and on deck for souvenirs, professional picture takers in case you want to have a nice photo of your time there but you have the option of getting them. Tip, If you make dining reservations, don’t make this additional purchase because you’ll be able to go up afterwards after eating at the restaurant.
