What to Expect
Start in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, fly into Iqaluit where you spend 2-3 days visiting the town, the museums, learn about the culture of the Inuit and their long history in the Arctic, fly to Pangnirtung village on Baffin Island, get ready for the expedition of your life as we head for 5-6 days into the wild, guided by a local Inuk hunter.  Sleep in Arctic tents under the Northern Lights, see polar bears, seals, arctic foxes and ptarmigan, as well as narwhals and belugas (in season), and observe the intricate and complex relationship that the Inuit have with the nature around them and how they survived for more than 4000 years here.

Arctic specialized equipment will be provided.  This expedition requires clients to be in good health, relatively good physical shape and medium walking effort.

Cold is a factor here.  Living in tents for 5-6 days in the wild.
