Enjoy a taste of historic downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland. This approximately three-hour guided tour will take you to some of the city’s top eateries for samples at each. Spend the afternoon in good company, walking while filling up on tasty food and learning more about the people and stories that have made St. John’s the city it is today.

What to Expect
Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of historical Downtown St. John’s with this three hour guided walking tour that’s sure to please all your senses!

The start time of the food tour is 12pm sharp at The Newfoundland Chocolate Company located at 166 Duckworth Street.

We visit five local restaurants along the way by foot. Food samples at each stop will be included such as a traditional turkey and dressing meatball from our most popular Irish pub!

The route is approximately 1.8km and does include some stairs.

This is a guided tour with historical stories told along the way. Even locals learn a little something about their own city when they take the tour!

The tour will go ahead rain or shine so come dressed for the weather.

This is an experience you won't want to miss!

Downtown Tour

Tour Guide Allison was great and quite knowledgable about St Johns History however more emphasis could be put on History of City instead of buildings.

Great introduction to both food and local history.
