My husband drove this tour in a 4-seat buggy, which accommodated our kids (ages 15 & 11) and the two of us. Even before our tour, our booking agent was amazing…she answered all of my husband’s questions and guided him through deciding which tour was right for our family,

Our tour guide, Sascha, was also great! He was attentive, knowledgeable and patient with people who were driving these buggies / navigating this terrain for the first time. We felt safe being guided by Sascha, as we knew safety was his top priority. But he wasn’t too serious. He took the time to socialize and chat with group members, and he offered to help everyone take pics at a very scenic spot. He also took video of each buggy as we took turns running / splashing through a larger body of water, and offered these videos to us all at the end of the tour. His balance of fun - professional was much appreciated.

To be perfectly honest I got off and said this was definitely worth the money.. first thing out of my mouth. Mitch was the best. He wasn't afraid to set it up so we could all enjoy a decent pace and took us to some great photo ops. We drove ourselves but you can catch a ride on their shuttle from the village. Easily the best off road experience so far and I've done more than one just this trip alone.
Be warned.. they told us that we would receive 20% off at a few select restaurants if we had proof of purchase that we had been on the excursion; we called one restaurant and the denied they had this deal and said they've been trying to get them to stop telling clients there is such a discount.

It was a great trip, really nice views up on the mountain and our guide Nikki was really friendly and experienced. The highlight of our trip was definitely the lucky bear sighting and Nikki calmly told us what to and not to do.

Would recommend this trip for people that are too lazy for hikes on the mountain.

We went for a birthday celebration, a large group which was accommodated very well. Concierge who organized us was A+ and our guide Jordan was very attentive and hilarious. We had quite a few modifications to our reservation and our concierge was super helpful and made sure we had the best experience, THANK YOU!

Jordan was our bus driver and led us in his ATV. His confidence operating the vehicle made it feel very safe and that we were in good hands. The views were breath taking. Advise people to wear bug spray because some parts had mosquitos. We also liked that we got to go around the "splash zones" twice so we could really get in there the second time.

Our guide Jonas did a great job kept all 10 of us safe and comfortable during the drive. Had a few stops and took us on unique trails, he could tell we were responsible drivers. I would recommend a scarf to cover your mouth and mosquito repellant. Great experience over all, would definitely book again. Thanks Jonas, you’re the best!

Meant to do this a few weeks back, but wanted to leave a review commending Sascha and the team at Canadian Wilderness Adventures for our immensely fun 4x4 buggy adventure. We loved the experience and enjoyed having Sascha as our guide. He was professional and funny. He was considerate of the members of the group, making sure we were protected from the dust and offering to switch orders so that the last group wasn't always driving through all the kicked up dust. One member of the party asked if there were any water features or puddles we could drive through and he happily obliged - with the added instructions on how to either stay dry or get very wet depending on your preference. He shared some cool history about the lake and provided some funny stories. Can't forget to mention the breathtaking scenery that we were allowed to stop and take pictures of (and have Sascha offer to take photos of us as well!) Overall great time and would recommend to friends!

Went to the Callaghan Valley Buggy adventure with our guide Michelle. Incredible afternoon, well worth the price, had kids 10 and 13 in the back of the 4 seater and they loved it.
Our guide Michelle knew the trails inside and out amd was happy to take photo of our family for memories that will last a long time :)

As a late 50 something most of my adventures are self-propelled but this looked like something that the wife and I could enjoy and we did. The Callaghan Valley is a short distance south of Whistler and a worthy visit in its own right and base camp for CWA’s off road adventure. Led by a very capable tour leader in Amanda with James riding shotgun we had a short introduction and a short caravan of 7 buggy’s headed out. After a few warm ups to assess riders ability we were off. Perfect pace-fast enough to get the adrenaline pumping and in control enough to avoid mishaps. A couple quick photo vistas of the fireweed in perfect bloom with the Black Tusk in the background and back on time for a late dinner.

This was a blast! It was a perfect cloudy day activity as you're among the trees and forest paths. My wife and I enjoyed the two-person buggy as a honeymoon activity. All the others in our group were couples as well. You can register for both people to drive if you want.

Amanda was a great instructor and guide. She explained operation and safety procedures clearly and made sure everyone was comfortable on the driving and breaking course before setting out on the mountain. The route we took was increased in complexity as you went, so if you are new, you could slowly acclimate to the driving. With steep hills, puddles, and some sharp turns, it made for a fun morning.

Tip: we recommend getting the big yellow suits, especially if it has rained in the days leading up to your day. You will want them going through "the puddles." In fact, we'd recommend doing this a day or so after it rains as it adds another element to the experience.
