- larissal700 contributionsAdventure of a Lifetime! The day was clear and the air was crisp! Will, our guide, gave our ride instructions, took us up and down the mountain safely. And did we go UP! The view down into the valley was beautiful!!! If you're thinking about taking a snowmobile ride, THIS IS THE ONE! While still on our trip, we went back on last night in Whistler and explored the Vallea Lumina walk, it was so beautiful. Something you definitely want to do as a family or even if you're with friends.Written 20 January 2025

A must-to-do at WhistlerVallea Lumina was a second to none experience, a must see if you go to Whistler, the display of lights, holographic images, sound effects, etc is mesmerizingWritten 2 January 2025
- dantF3411QU0 contributionsPeaceful Snowshoe to Majestic CedarsAfter a fun snowcat ride up the mountain, we took a peaceful hike in to see the majestic ancient cedars. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides surprised us with a fresh cookie and hot chocolate and a quick detour for a view into the valley. Phones were only out for pictures - a brilliant escape from the bustle.Written 30 December 2024
- rachaell750 contributionsHighly recommend! Amazing snowmobile tour!WOW, what an amazing snowmobiling experience. The views were incredible, the terrain was great fun, the machines were in great condition and our guide George was amazing! He made sure that we had the best time out on the trails but could see he was keeping an eye out for everyone the whole time! Having George as our guide really made the tour for us!Written 30 December 2024
- gunko_irina0 contributionsEpic ride, best guide ever!Snowmobile adventure in the snowy wilderness? Oh yeah, it’s as epic as it sounds. Got this as a birthday gift, and honestly, my expectations were low. But WOW—this was a blast! The views? Insane. The mountains? Totally majestic. Escaping from the grey vibes of Raincouver to a sunny snow-dreamland? 10/10 would recommend. Snow-covered trees, fresh trails, and pure aesthetic joy. Heads up though: this stuff is dangerously fun. Like, how have I gone this long without trying snowmobiling? And why didn’t anyone tell me it’s this awesome? Pretty sure I’ll be asking Santa for a snowmobile next year. (Husband, if you’re reading this, take notes!) IIt’s fast, it’s loud, and it handles corners like a drunk hippo—by which I mean it’s hilariously awesome. !!!Huge props to our guide, who was a total legend. He’s British (sorry, I didn’t catch the name), and apparently, he came to BC for “four months”... three years ago. Guess he fell in love with this place, and honestly, same. He was super knowledgeable, ridiculously kind, and so passionate about snowmobiles. His enthusiasm was so contagious! He showed us jaw-dropping spots, answered all our questions, gave us a crash course in snowmobiles AND avalanche safety. Absolute legend!!! Honestly, this was one of the best things I’ve ever done. If you’re in Whistler, DO IT. You’ll thank me later!Written 27 December 2024

- Al G0 contributionsImmerse yourself for the best experienceA bit unsure about this before it began, I loved it. The creativity of the team who have put the multimedia experience together is amazing. It’s the way the lights and music and sounds and projections work together which makes this so special. I recommend just immersing yourself in it. If with a group, go through the walk as if alone, so you can get absorbed in the music and lights.Written 1 November 2024

On a day break from skiing Whistler, took the family (wife, kids age 7 & 9) on the family snow mobile tour. Met in Whistler Village and hopped on a bus for about a 20 min ride to Cougar Mountain where the site is. We got lucky as we were the only family on the tour so had the guide to ourselves. Josh was very friendly and a great guide. The highlight of the tour for the kids was the stop at the mini snowmobiles where they each got to drive a snowmobile around a track. Since we were the only family on the tour, Josh let the kids drive the snowmobiles as long as they wanted. My 7 year old son describes this as one of the highlights of the trip. All in all a very good time and a nice activity for an off day from skiing.

Sam(?) was our guide. T’all Swedish fellow. Took a bunch of us out in the beginners snowmobile tour. Fantastic views. About 1 hour actual riding. 20km or so. Straightforward track through the valley and the views. Recommend if you’re looking for something easy

I don't recommend it. It was a slow, boring ride. The views are nice, but that's it. The guide only gave us the safety instructions, from then on he never addressed us. The option for the children to drive lasted only 15 minutes (there were 6 children and 2 infant snowmobilers). The tour ended with no one offering hot drinks. We just left and done. With how expensive the experience is I do NOT recommend it.

We were so looking forward to this family snow mobile tour. However, when we got there we were told that they don’t hqve our reservation. Have them my booking reference number and nothing. So I called the trip adviser after we got back to the hotel and I was told the operator had canceled the tour a day before and supposedly sent out an email ( which I never received ) So we were charged $1,600 dollars dor a trip that got cancelled ??!! I was told we will get a refund but our day pretty much got wasted. We were in Whistler for 3 days and 1 day got ruined thanks to this. We find this very irresponsible from Your part ( Trip Advisor ) to charge for an expensive tour only to have it cancelled at the last minute. Who will be responsible our our time lost ???

My parter, 9 year old daughter and I went on the family snowmobile tour and it was amazing! The views were unforgettable and our tour guide was great (think he was called Alex or Adam?). With the family tour we stopped in the middle and the kids got to drive around on their own snowmobiles, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed this part, even I had a go.
This was our favourite activity of the trip and something we won’t forget.

I have tried all sled tours in Whistler and this by far is the best. Brand new sleds, great trails and the best guides ever. If going sledding, pick #tagwhistler and ask for Klara &Ali. They made our kids feel comfortable and made them enjoy every aspect of this experience. Two thumbs up!

We did a boys' outing with 2 adults and boys ages 9, 11, and 13 at the end of Feb. None of us had ever been on a snow mobile before and we were lucky enough to get Ali as our guide. We had an absolute blast. We were in great hands with Ali, who brought the kids to a snowy meadow where they got to tool around on 3 mini kid's machines. Then the dads got to tear around on frozen Cougar Lake at break-neck speeds. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone wanting a relatively easy adrenaline rush. We can't wait for the next chance to do it again. Helmets are provided as are goggles, but I wish I had brought my own ski googles (prescription).

We have gone on snowmobile tours before but this one was one of the best! The guide was informative and attentive and interacted very well with our 9 year old son. Our son also got to drive his own snowmobile at the mid point of the tour in an open area. I highly recommend this tour and the company.
