About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 959marlenes0 contributionsPerfect and Hassle freePerfect no-hassle way to get from your cruise ship to Victoria. We’d do it again. Bus was clean - ride was comfortable and dropped us off where we needed to be within walking distance of our hotel. Better than a cabWritten 24 October 2024
- Triflyer0 contributionsExpensiveI paid CAD 100 more than I have paid if I had used the subway to get to the ferry terminal instead. I think the price was exorbitant for the value this service provided for me. While returning from Victoria I used the public transport route and I did not consider any less comfortable. Everyone rides the same ferry eventually. I would not use this service again. The driver was however extremely friendly and offered helpful tips. Full marks to him.Written 9 September 2024
- Tom D0 contributionsTransport home !Absolutely superb . We’re heading home today to Ireland after 4 weeks in wonderful Alaska and Canada . James was our driver and he was so efficient it was amazing thank you James . He explained how the system worked and told us about the quiet lounge on deck 6 of the sprit if ??? . It was perfect . We’re here in Vancouver international airport having lunch and waiting to check in , thank you so much . A lady looked after us with our booking in the office I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but so helpful . Take a bow you deserve it and thank youWritten 8 September 2024

- Stacy B0 contributionsSuper easy way to get from Vancouver to VictoriaSuper easy transfer .. bus depot great location .. took bus to ferry terminal .. bus drives straight on and straight off then drops off in heart of Victoria… beautiful ferry ride and all was right on time !!Written 9 June 2024
- TGAndrew0 contributionsFantastic Experience! This is a fantastic service! Picked up at hotel and no issues at all on the trip. As a bonus there is a short stop at the Old Train Station in Vancouver, we were excited to see it.Written 17 April 2024
- keiwingm0 contributionsStrange “BC Ferries Connector” Route at Vancouver DowntownA bit disappointed to me when BC ferries connector unable to arrive at my destination (Vancouver Fairmont) timely for a journey from Victoria to Vancouver. It is over 30mins late! I felt very annoyance for many added stops (never informed in advance) before the coach entered into Vancouver downtown. Also the route within Vancouver downtown was strange. Vancouver Fairmont is planned to be the last stop of four. However, the coach did pass the Vancouver Fairmont after the 1st stop in downtown. Few persons including me forced to do a city adventure (2nd and 3rd stops) with the ride. I don’t care if it did not cause me late to arrive destination,Written 20 October 2023
- hazban0 contributionsIt's just so convenient. If you have not got your own car this is the best way to get to and from the Island. Convenient pickup for us directly outside our two hotels, Fairmont Waterfront and Empress, which was bang on the stated time. The coach is first on and first off the ferry but you are given plenty of time to explore the boat, have some food and enjoy the scenery. Only negative comment, and a big minus, is that the smaller bus we transferred to on the return to YVR airport was in a very poor condition. It was dirty and the seats very badly stained, looked more like transport for construction workers than coach passengers. Otherwise would recommend the service.Written 19 September 2023
- 325jalenb0 contributionsExpensivePrice have gone up significantly these past few years especially post pandemic. It's basically cheaper for you to drive there if you have a group of 2 or 3 going together. Buses are old compared to other bus services and not on schedule for my trip.Written 7 September 2023
- cbrancato0 contributionsConvenience makes this a winner. If you're looking for the easiest way to travel to Victoria, then this is the way to go. This bus gets favorable entry and exit from the ferry, which gets you on and off faster than most other passengers. The guides even dropped us off at stops close to our hotel upon our return, which made it a short walk back.Written 22 August 2023

- CMariash0 contributionsRescued in VancouverTHANK YOU DRIVER ED! Thank you, Wilsons! Due to the Koningsdam throwing us a huge curveball during disembarkation, we missed our scheduled bus at 8:55 in the morning. Friends of ours did make it and they said the driver waited as long as he could but had to leave to get the ferry. We waited for 3+ hours in the cold concrete bus area, no seating, with vague information that there was a bus coming. When it did come, Driver Ed had no idea we were there and was put in a tight spot. Not sure where he had to go but he said he would be back for us and to our relief, he did come back. We got home late but we got home. Thank you, Ed, and thank you Wilsons for being flexible.Written 2 May 2023
- Alexis D0 contributionsConvenient way to get homeMyself & my son decided to take the Bus back from Vancouver to Victoria to get home last weekend. I believe our drivers name was Ed he was great very friendly, good driving made our trip home great. Even though there was a delay witch was out of the drivers control he still made the trip great and we were able to get out and grab some food and drinks while we were waiting for the next ferry.Written 18 April 2023

Great experience… the bus was nice and the ferry ride was outstanding! Ed, our bus driver and host was very helpful and informative! He was great!!!
In fact, my husband left his favorite jacket above our seat on the bus …
After realizing we had left it behind, we called the customer service number and discovered that Ed had taken it into lost and found for us to retrieve there at the bus station!!! My husband was very excited to get his jacket back! Thank you Ed!

The trip was fantastic the driver Russ was fabulous and even when we left our bag with the passports on it he met us to return them. Well done Russ! Thank you. On the other hand I rang customer service and it was terrible. So many things to go through and still didn’t get through in an emergency. Lucky we got the passports back from a great driver to save the day. Jo

Such an easy way to get from downtown Victoria to any number of places in Vancouver. The bus driver looked after the luggage and everyone on board with excellent communication and a few laughs. Absolutely stress free service. Lovely scenic trip across on the ferry as well.

This is a great service. We had been on a cruise, and disembarked in Victoria. We took a taxi from the port to downtown Victoria. After a short wait, we were able to board the bus which took us directly to the ferry. Once on the ferry, we got off the bus and went to one of the upper decks. There were comfortable seats and it was a lovely trip. Upon arrival in Vancouver, we went down to the bus, got back on board and it took us to the Pacific Central Station. There were other possible stops, including the airport.

My son and I traveled from Victoria to Vancouver using the BC connector. They picked us up at our hotel then dropped us at the bus collection point. We drove to the ferry and were able to get off the bus and enjoy the scenic ferry ride over. Then it was easy back on the bus and they took us right to downtown Vancouver. We had a reasonable amount of luggage and it was all easily stowed under the bus and we didn't have to worry about it again until we took it off in Vancouver.

We had a short walk from the Fairmont Empress, Victoria to the nearby coach station where we met Russ, the absolutely brilliant driver who took us single handed all the way to our drop off point at the Fairmont, Vancouver where we co-incidentally happened to be staying.
Our bags were efficiently tagged and put in the hold of the coach and that was the last we saw of them until our Vancouver drop off. A pleasant journey to the Victoria ferry terminal enhanced by Russ' dry and witty humour. The coach goes to the front of the queue for the ferry so was first on and first off. We were amazed that more people did not go to the open top deck on what was a glorious day, to take in the truly wonderful views - plenty of foto opportunities.
There is obviously plenty of comfortable seating on the lower decks as well as a cafe etc and good toilets. The ferry trip, about 80 minutes was a real scenic revelation as in fairness was the quick plane journey coming over from Vancouver - do both if you can.
The coach was first off the ferry and soon into Vancouver. A faultless journey from start to finish. My partner thought our driver Russ, who has a good deal of responsibility on a journey like this, was an absolute star - the best of his kind that we met on our two weeks in Western Canada.
The ferry journey was one of the highlights of our holiday.

We used this service from Vancouver to Victoria as we did not hire a car whilst on holiday in Canada. I have to say how effortless the whole experience was. We got picked up in central Vancouver near to our hotel and then transported via BC Ferries. The coach stayed with us for the whole journey so no need to transfer our luggage. Our driver Anita was excellent, giving us full information about the journey and a nice smooth drive - a credit to Wilsons Coaches

What hotels do you drop passengers off at in downtown Vancouver

Hi there. My wife and I did this trip less than 2 weeks ago. The Vancouver drop off options seemed to be Pacific Central Station or the Fairmont Hotel near the corner of West Georgia and Hornby Streets.
