Overview
Get up close with the killer whales on the Salish Sea with this guided, 3.5-hour whale-watching cruise from Victoria. Climb aboard a covered or open boat equipped with hydrophones to hear the whales and bring the underwater experience to light. Every voyage is led by a certified marine naturalist with a passion for the area’s marine wildlife. In addition to humpback, killer, minke and gray whales, see other wildlife like porpoises, sea lions, seals, otters and marine birds. Hotel pickup and drop-off included.
What to Expect
Watch whales and many other diverse marine species aboard either a covered or open boat, both with onboard washrooms. Many types of whales grace the Salish Sea, including humpback whales, killer whales, minke whales and gray whales. Your expert captain and crew are excited to share everything these waters have to offer. Whale sightings are guaranteed!

You'll make several wildlife viewing stops to learn about local wildlife from the onboard naturalist. Wildlife identification kits, binoculars, gloves, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and blankets are available for your use, plus a hydrophone to hear the whales underwater.

I would email the company about pick up and drop off. The tour departs from and returns to fisherman's wharf, not the cruise ship dock. I would definitely book the covered boat that time of year
