      Great fishing trip
We had a great fishing trip with Cameron and caught good numbers of fish including a 23lb chinook which was really exciting. A brilliant team and highly recommended

      This was an Epic experience
This was a complete fishing /ocean adventure , Ryan is very experienced and competent . We were treated with great respect. Shortly into the trip we spotted Humpback whales which graced our view for a good look. Fishing was exciting and we caught some very nice Salmon , then were treated to a show from some Orcas and caught more Salmon. The Eagles were spectacular as Ryan cleaned the fish and gave back to them the bits they devoured . 5 stars and kudos the this great family operation . I will continue to charter with them anytime i want to experience the Pacific. Thank-you !

Half day trip full of fish and wildlife!
We went on a half day fishing trip with Ryan and had an absolutely amazing time! We caught a whole bunch of rock fish and even managed to catch salmon, even though it wasn’t salmon season yet. Ryan clearly knew what he was doing and even showed us a local family of bears, as well as an eagle, a sea lion, and seal when we were cleaning the fish. He made the whole trip really special for us! We would definitely do another trip next time we are back.

Friendly Knowledgeable Crew who love whale watching.
Great day whale watching. Knowledgeable friendly. Of three tour boats we were the first out and the last in. On our way back found some grey whales and followed them rather than hurry back to port. I highly recommend them

      Great time on the water
I was just in Uculet on a two day fishing trip with a friend and we booked a 2 days of fishing. Now this is pretty much the end of the fishing season in that area. We were lucky enough to get Ryan as our guide. Ryan has been a fisherman for most of his life and it really shows. Not only was he able to put us on fish both days he was able to give us an amazing amount of information about the area and always had a smile on. I will be heading back to Cameron charter’s very soon I will be be bringing other friends to enjoy the awesome time. Thanks for everything Ryan. I am glad to recommend Cameron’s charters to anyone who really wants to have a good time on the water. Jim Flynn

      Amazing trip
Amazing whale watching trip with Caleb and Lynette. We were extremely lucky to see several orcas on our trip and Caleb and Lynette shared so much interesting kwowledge about the orcas. The boat had a very nice size and both Caleb and Lynette were extremely pleasant Company. In addition Caleb took some great fotos of the orcas, that he shared with all of us for free. Absolutely recommendable!!

      Amazing family trip
My son and I did 3 days of fishing with Ryan and had an incrediable time. Ryan showed us what to do and his knowledge of the industry is second to none. what a time we had. The boat was great out in the ocean. I spent a bit of time talking to other charter guys and they all say that the Cameron boys are the topdogs in the industry. Ryan got us on the fish all three days and coached us lots. Can't wait to be a repeat costomer

BBQ fish on a beautiful boat.
Went fishing on the Nootka princess. Amazing boat, great guide and skipper. Kept fish on the hooks the whole 4 hours and plenty of great stories. Cooked us a fresh fish we caught that day on the BBQ.

      Fishing & Whale Watching
Highly recommend this family run charter. The boat was well equipped with safety equipment and modern radar. Our captain Ryan under promised and over delivered. We caught our limit within 3 hours which allowed time for Ryan to give us the full experience of seeing the variety of wild life including hump back, orca whales, and an island of sea lions. It was a truly magical day!

      Incredible experience
Myself and my 10 year old son went on an 8 hour fishing trip with Ryan. Absolutely fantastic day!! These guys really know what they are doing and didn’t skip a best all day. Very knowledgeable about every thing to do with fishing, the ocean and the surround area. We caught lots of fish! Salmon , lingcod, rock fish. It was a bit too windy to go where we needed to go for halibut. But not disappointed in the least bit. Highly recommend booking a trip through these guys. I could go on more about the great time we had but YOU need to go experience it for yourselves! Thanks for the great day!

      Fish in comfort
My husband is an avid fisher so I booked Cameron Adventures to take us out for his birthday. Caleb was our guide for the day, he was friendly, laid back and put us all at ease- his experience and knowledge were apparent through observation of his technique and understanding of the local area. The water was choppy with some decent sized swells but we were comfortable inside the heated cabin. The 4 of us had a great day and ended up catching quite a few rock fish. If your in the area definitely book with Cameron Adventures- we will be back!

      Excellent Service
We booked 3 days of fishing with Cameron Ocean Adventures and had excellent service. Ryan was our captain for all 3 days and he was very competent even during the rainy and rough weather we had for a few days and we did manage to catch some salmon . The boat was very comfortable with lots of space, a good head and also had good fishing gear. Due to the awful weather, one of our days was cancelled but they managed to get us in another day. Bravo! I would recommend Cameron Ocean Adventures.

A Whale Of A Time With Lynette And Caleb.
Cameron Ocean Adventures organize one of the most amazing Whale Watching tours on the west coast of Vancouver Island at Ucluelet. We booked the tour online about a couple of hours before it sailed from the Whisky Landing dock, just behind the Ucluelet Aquarium at 3 pm. Lynette, the skipper, and Caleb, expert mariner and owner of the vessel ‘Nootka Princess’ introduced themselves to us and the ten other adventurers, which included four kids aged 5 to 12. We had to don our life jackets and were given the safety drill before sailing towards the Broken Group Islands due east of Ucluelet. The scenery of the small forested islands and rocks in the open Pacific Ocean kept us mesmerized, and none of us wanted to get into the warmth of the covered cabin which remained largely empty most of the time. Most of us had brought some eatables and drinking water which we left in the cabin until we felt hungry or thirsty. Initially we saw some cormorants and bald eagles perched on the tree tops of the small islands. We even saw a sea otter floating on its back and observing us just as we were observing him. Finally after sailing on the choppy ocean for more than an hour Lynette spotted a Humpback spouting at some distance. We were all excited as most of us were seeing a whale for the first time. We followed it for almost half an hour trying our best to synchronize our camera clicks with the whale’s flips. Finally ‘Moby Dick’ got tired of entertaining us and we went ahead to some rocks where Caleb pointed out a group of grunting and squabbling sea lions. Some of them were swimming quite close to us and peering out of the water at us. After almost 4 hours out on the waters braving the chilly and choppy waves we were back in Ucluelet at 7 pm. We all had a whale of time and were sad to say good-bye to our captain and guides, Lynette and Caleb, who had opened our eyes to the beauty of the wild and wonderful coast of British Columbia.

While this was advertised as a whale watching experience, we knew that this could not be guaranteed but conditions were perfect with calm seas and to our delight we came across a female humpback. We followed her for a time and had several opportunities to watch her surface and dive, one of these very close to our boat.
In addition we saw Steller and Californian sea lions, sea otters with young, harbour seals and harbour porpoise. Bird life was abundant too.
The skipper, Lynette and Nature guide, Rachel were professional and knowledgeable and Rachel answered all the many questions put to her.
This was an excellent experience which I would wholeheartedly recommend.

312,90 dollars for 2 persons. Full expectations appeared at the boat. Fortunately not fully booked. 2 employees incl. female captain on board. Nice sea trip but what did we see? Whale nothing. But at every cliff on which a bird or sea lion sat/lay was stopped and told how beautiful it is. The staff were not to be seen most of the time. There were no references to the whales and their species. No charts were shown etc. Instead, the landscape was occasionally explained.

We have been on several whale tours but this one is not worth the money. Way overpriced and disinterested staff. There was more excitement about bored kids leaving stuffed animals on the table. And the luggage was always pushed nicely under the seats.

From all (!) other operators we were used to, should no whale be sighted, there was a discount for the next tour up to 75%.

Dear organizer: What do you think, how many people are used to this discount? It is the fewest.

To all other customers: Try to use another operator.

The day before the tour, they asked if we would come (at that time there was a detour that made driving to Ucluelet very difficult). Although only 3 participants showed up for the tour that day, it was still carried out. Extremely friendly and courteous staff both in the office and on the boat. The tour itself was extremely good. And the crew was very hard working and very helpful. Definitely recommendable. Thank you to this company.

We had a fabulous excursion made even better by the experienced two-woman crew! Lynette and Rachel pointed out bald eagles and a pelican along the way. Rachel was very knowledgeable and open to questions about whales and other wildlife in the area. We had front row seats to a spectacular performance by a humpback whale for 20 minutes or more and Lynette did a great job keeping us close enough but also at a safe distance (sharing some of her great pics too!). On the way back we were taken close to a large rock formation covered with sea lions and Cormorants. The crew did everything to make the experience outstanding and safe. The boat was clean and well maintained. Came from Ontario for this and we’re not disappointed! Strongly recommend this excursion!

Black bear, sea otter, seal and sea lion sightings were highlights of our tour with Cameron's. Best aspect of the tour were the knowledgeable guides that handily answered our every question and peppered in personal stories that brought the experience to the next level.
Four hours well-spent touring Barkley Sound enjoying views of The Broken Island Group and feeling the wildness of the ocean environment. Thank you to the team at Cameron's Ocean Adventures for the memorable experience.

I brought some friends out from the mainland and this was easily the best thing we could have done. We all caught fish within minutes of leaving the harbor and saw whales right away. Caleb and Lynette proved incredibly knowledgeable and experienced guides and captains. The boat was large, comfortable and easy to move around on. An added bonus was Lynette's extensive knowledge of local history, flora and fauna. This was a great time and I'll highly recommend Cameron Ocean Adventures.

Had an amazing time with Lynette and Rachel on our whale watching tour. Group was small so we always felt like we had room to move around or change spot watching the Ocean. We were lucky enough to meet Pinky, a humpback whale who stayed for a long time around us!! Our guides were both so knowledgable and interesting with all the informations they gave us, really made the whole thing even more special.
Thanks again so much, our hearts are still filled with beautiful images of Pinky jumping around.

I took my parents and my sister on a whale-watching trip with Cameron Ocean Adventures in early May 2023, and the experience was fantastic. This family-owned business is instilled with Caleb's love and respect of marine life. Caleb and his staff were so knowledgable, experienced, friendly and approachable which made the whole experience a joy. Organising the trip was also very easy, and they were on hand to answer any questions I had before booking the trip. I would definitely recommend a tour with them!

We went out for the morning and had the most incredible time. This was our second time out with Cameron Ocean Adventures. The boat is so comfortable and has a great viewing deck and comfortable cabin to warm up. We went with our toddler and friends and the crew was so fun and knowledgeable. We saw five gray whales that swam right up beside the boat!!! We were also lucky to see sea otters, surf scoters, eagles and sea lions! We can’t wait until our the next trip out!
