      Outstanding first tour experience
I had no idea what to expect when embarking on a solo trip via this tour company and boy was I impressed!!! We had the pleasure of being looked after by our tour guide Ryan who was knowledgeable, approachable, funny, tentative and animated. The trip itself even included a few extra hidden gems of which was not on the itinerary. Each step of the way I felt really looked after and safe in all travel. This tour was over Christmas and so Ryan also went above and beyond to keep as many aspects as festive as possible. I am already looking into what other tours I'd like to book for next year because the hassle free nature of this one has me sold!! Many thanks to all involved in allowing this trip to be so seemless and I would highly recommend for anyone considering... Push that book button :) Ashlee O - UK resident

      Loved it!
Our tour guide Ryan was very helpful, informative and entertaining. There was plenty for time at each stop for everyone to visit the washroom and get a coffee without rushing. The tour itself was amazing. The hotels were of a very good standard and our arrival and departure were well organised. The scenery was amazing. There was something for everyone with the optional activities. The free time in Banff was a great idea also.

      Unmissable Rockies
Special thanks to Discover Canada guides, Robyn and Berlyn for a wonderful tour. Theres nothing like the Canadian Rockies with Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Revelstoke, Banff, Valemont, Kamloops and Columbia Icefields. Highlight of my 2024 travels.

A must while visiting Victoria and Vancouver Island
Great Botanical Garden. In the heart of Vancouver Island, that superb garden is a must! So beautiful and we are more city folks than nature lovers.

      a wonderful experience
we booked this tour on line some time prior to being in Canada and were delighted to find the whole experience better than we anticipated. Well organised, hotels good and a great guide and driver who both knew their product and were professional and entertaining. We got to see and learn so much over the four days. Would definitely recommend this company and the gondola ride up the mountain in Banff

      You will love! this tour.
This tour is excellent!! Our tour guide, Rene was the best. He was very knowledgeable about the area and what made it so fun was his sense of humor!! We laughed and had the greatest time. Our cruise departed that evening so this was the perfect length of tour, about 3 hours. Perfect for seeing the highlights of Vancouver. Wonderful!

      A must see!
We booked this tour thru Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions and it did not disappoint! We got on a tour bus with about 24 people and the bus driver was very good at telling us the history of Victoria and pointed out different land marks on our way towards The Buchart Gardens. I think it took about 30 minutes to get there. The tour included entrance into the gardens and we did not have to wait in line at all. The gardens are truly breathtaking and we went thru most of it walking very leisurely. There is a little shop to get coffee, hot chocolate and pastries, etc. The gift shop is fairly reasonable in their prices. We truly enjoyed our visit to the gardens. Once back on the bus, we heard some more history about the gardens and saw a little bit of downtown Victoria. We had the option of getting off of the bus in downtown and walking back to the cruise ship but we opted to get back to the ship. Highly recommend this tour!

      Ryan is a great guide!
Well organized, great tour! We saw beautiful places, enjoyed every moment. The hotels were excellent, where we stayed. Our guide Ryan was really great, he knew lots of things about the area, which he shared with us. I also found very useful that he kept us informed where we are, where we are going.

Great trip with fine hotels, a great train ride, and excellent staff.
Great experience. We were afraid that the wild fires would interfere but with the exception of not being able to visit Jasper, the fires did not cause a problem

Great tour of the Rocky Mountains
4 out of 5 Our driver Mitch and guide Corey were a 5 out of 5 but our bus which we found the size great it suffered terrible condensation so we were forever wiping away condensation to see the scenery.

      Great natural wonders
My wife and I were on one of the last tours for the 2024 season. In fact, we were the last group to stay at one of the resorts…Mike Wiegele cabins in Blue River…with its 9 helipads! The trip was awesome and our driver/guide, Corey, was superb. He was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Nothing was too much trouble for him. An excellent ambassador for the company. He knew so much about every aspect of the trip. The Rockies themselves were spectacular, the lakes superb and the activities well-chosen. Many kilometres were travelled, particularly on the first and last days. Our minibus seated about 22 people and we were a group of 19. The seats were narrow and uncomfortable on the long driving days. Overall, the natural beauty, cohesive group and Corey’s skills combined to make this a terrific trip.

      A natural high
My wife and I were on the one of the last trips for the Rockies Premium Summer Tour for 2024. Our guide was Corey and he was full-on knowledgeable and entertaining. Nothing was too much trouble and he was so experienced and customer focused. The Rockies are magnificent, the lakes amazing and the activities interesting and varied. We chose the glacier along canoeing on the river at Banff and also Blue River. Both canoe trips were good…if I could only choose one, I would choose Blue River as it was more natural and less touristy. We had a very cohesive group which made it an even better trip.

Myself and my wife just returned to Nova Scotia after our excellent tour through the Rockies with tour guide William. This was my first bus tour so I was somewhat apprehensive about being cooped up with 20 strangers for a week but I was pleasantly surprised at how well things went. The scenery was amazing as advertised and the accommodations were first rate. The scheduled stop in Kamloops couldn’t happen because of the fire but the office staff pivoted and found us an acceptable backup hotel.
Our driver/tour guide/scout leader William was the key element in making the tour enjoyable for each of his clients. No small feat when dealing with a group diverse in age and country of origin as we were. Will’s positive attitude and willingness to gauge the desire of the group helped everyone through some of the more challenging points in the trip. Will had certainly done his homework and provided an interesting and informative monologue as we discovered each new area. If we take another trip through Discover Canada we would certainly be requesting Will as our guide.
As to improvements we found the last days to be too long and tiring. Maybe take out one lake stop in order to get to the overnight stop while there is still time to look around for a bit. You might also consider a golf option at Whisler or Banff. These are world class courses.
My personal thanks to Will who did a hell of a job on this tour, his Mother should be proud.

This tour was fabulous. Corey with an E was our driver and guide. He was excellent. Professional informative, fun and totally understands Aussie humour. We had a wonderful, friendly and cohesive tour group which added to the total package. I totally recommend this tour for any age group wishing to see the Rockies and this area of Canada. Thankyou Discover Canada Tours.

What an incredible way to see so many beautiful and scenic sites in this part of Canada. 15 people from 5 different countries and an absolute 5 out of 5 tour guide in Corey. An adjustment to the itinerary was made due to the devastating fires in Jasper. All the hotels and breakfast provided was of an excellent standard, yes we travelled many kilometres in 7 days but it was well worth it. I really must thank Corey for being an outstanding leader/ guide. Highly recommend this tour.

The trip was hectic and the days were long. The timing of our trip was not ideal as there was smoky conditions that obscured all of the views. Additionally, it impeded any outdoor activities since the air quality was so poor. We had only one guide/driver who was overworked, but did his best. I recommend that in the future, a separate guide be provided to provide narrative, as it was hard for the driver to do both. The days were too long for us to get into our lodgings in time for dinner and enjoy hotel amenities as described. On the plus side, we did do many stops not described in the itinerary. What made the trip enjoyable was our guide and driver who accommodated us as best he could and put in 150% effort.

Not only was the scenery amazing but our tour guide/driver William was the best. He went above and beyond. He did everything he could to make sure everyone was having a great tour. He provided just the right amount of information and history of the areas. This was a small group tour with only 19 passengers which made it so easy to get to know everyone. I was really pleased with the quality and locations of the hotels and the breakfasts which were included were very good. Discover Canada also did a great job rescheduling one day of our tour due to the forest fires in BC. The views in the rockies are amazing so taking a bus tour rather than driving ourselves was perfect. I highly recommend this particular tour and Discover Canada Tours and if you are lucky to get William as your guide you will have a great tour.

I went on this tour with my mum and we both had the best time. I especially would like to thank Richelle, our amazing guide. If I ever do another tour with Discover Canada, I want Richelle to be my guide. She is knowledgeable, accommodating, respectful and very friendly (plus she is an incredibly skilled driver). She has a vast knowledge of Canadian nature and history. We learnt lots of interesting facts along the trip about Canadian flora and fauna as well as the history of the land. She is an experienced traveller herself and she made sure that we got everywhere before the crowds arrived and got the best views. The trip has definitely surpassed my expectations. The beauty of the Rockies is impossible to describe, you have to see and feel it for yourself. We definitely got lucky with our guide, the weather and the group of fellow travellers who were an enthusiastic bunch. I hope to come back to see more of Canada in the future

Our group of four loved the magnificent beauty and sheer size of the Western Rockies, ranging from wonderful Whistler to Sun Peaks, the mesmerising Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake, and iconic Lake Louise, through to the thunderous waterfalls and lakes of Maligne Canyon, and Athabasca Falls, and chilly Columbia icefield. So many iconic sites and glorious scenery.
The journey covered some 2,500 kilometres in 7 days, capably handled and managed by Meghan, our ever cheerful and accommodating driver and guide, who ensured that there were several rest/photo/snack stops along the way.
Probably the only niggle was the difference in standard of hotels along the way - probably a function of the towns we stayed in and the specific rooms we were assigned: the hotels in Jasper and Kelowna were not quite as good as the hotels in Whistler, Sun Peaks, and Banff.
We liked the fact that apart from one lunch and one dinner we were free to choose where we ate for these meals, as this gave us the opportunity to find restaurants to our taste.
Also, a shout-out to Benjamin who was very responsive during the booking process.

The tour was absolutely incredible, better than I could've ever anticipated. The views and destinations were awe-inspiring. We hit so many iconic sites such as Lake Louise, Banff, Whistler etc. as well as some lesser known spots (at least for us...!) which turned out to be some of our favourite places like Maligne Lake. The hotels we stayed at were fantastic and our guide, Meghan, was fabulous. Such an approachable and friendly person with incredible knowledge of all the sites and towns we visited. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Hi, I did the Rockies mountains trip with an incredible guide. His name is Ryan, he looks very passionate by his job and he is very friendly. I loved the trip cause of the view and the lake of course, but also cause of him. He was explaining stuff about the history of the Rockies. Normally I find that boring but he approached the subject with a funny and didactics way.
