Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- NorthStar661612620200 contributionsFull and happyOur tour guide did a fabulous job not only taking us to great restaurants with food we wouldn't have known to order and great tasting drinks but also such interesting Jasper history and local murals. We had such a great time and left full and happy. Thanks!Written 21 March 2025
- Tricia O0 contributionsBook a Foodie Tour with Tash!We had a very small group for our Foodie Tour of Jasper the other day. Natasha “Tash” is a born tour leader. We learned so much about the culture and history of Jasper as well as sampled some amazing cuisine! I especially loved the brand new whisky house Maligne Range. They’ve got a real gem there. We sampled their cured salmon dish that was so special. A picture follows. We also sampled mexican at Su Casa. Elk tacos! So tasty. The Dead Dog is not to be missed either. Such yummy poutine and ribs. Finally we sampled maple pecan cheesecake at the Fiddle River conveniently located above Su Casa. All awhile Tash filled us in on such interesting and entertaining info about all we experienced. She is an amazing professional and person. Highly recommend this fun walking tour of Jasper.Written 21 March 2025
- ArizonaTraveler20 contributionsA delicious way to spend an afternoonWe had 4 restaurant stops with commentary from our wonderful and informative guide Natasha. Both were terrific. The food was amazing and plentiful. Everyone should do this tour.Written 19 March 2025

- juless6690 contributionsIncredible Downtown Foodie Tour!If you’re in Jasper and want to eat your way through its history while supporting local businesses, Jasper Food Tours is an absolute must!!! Within 3 hours, we visited four incredible restaurants, each serving up delicious dishes alongside stories about the town’s rich, multicultural history. Nicolas, our guide, made us laugh, learn, and feel totally taken care of without ever being overbearing — truly the gold standard of hosting. As someone who needs to eat strictly gluten-free, I was blown away by how seamlessly the team accommodated my dietary restrictions. Every modification felt thoughtful and intentional, never like an afterthought — no side-eye, no sad substitutions. Jasper’s been through a lot with the fires, and it’s clear the community needs tourism to bounce back. If you’re looking for a fun, engaging way to experience the town and support local restaurants, this tour is 300% worth it. Plus, if you’re a little queer and wondering if you’ll feel welcome — the answer is yes.Written 1 March 2025
- I664YAdaves0 contributionsVery enjoyable afternoon in JasperNicolas was a great host. Lots of interesting info and he obviously has a love for the area. The meal tasters were excellent and more than enough for me. The drinks were also very tasty. There was one in particular I liked but won’t spoil the surprise.Written 13 February 2025
- kirstengK6356OS0 contributionsAmazing experienceWe had the best time on this food tour. Nic, our guide was knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for the food and history of Jasper. Each restaurant we visited was welcoming and there was plenty of delicious food and drinks. We’ll definitely be doing this again and recommending it to our friends and family.Written 28 January 2025
- margoloves2travel290 contributionsA must-do for FoodiesFood is spectacular & drinks pair well ... really great introduction to 4 restaurants that we had not been to before. And though it was only 4 tastings, we were so sated that we didn't need dinner that night. Keep an open mind when booking, as selections are eclectic. I caution this, because a couple of people on our tour didn't touch a few plates/drinks, though restauranteurs readily adapt to dietary restrictions. Nic is an awesome guide: knowledgeable & passionate about his Jasper. I would join any group that Nic leads.Written 26 January 2025
- blaineh9460 contributionsFun, Food, and DrinksExcellent afternoon. Food and drink were delicious. Our guide, Natasha, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience interesting.Written 22 January 2025

The food was spectacular and the drinks matched each dish perfectly! Well done! I would highly recommend. #JasperStrong There aren’t a lot of people in Jasper at the moment - but the town is fully open for business - so come back and support the locals - they will love to see you!Written 18 January 2025

I can't say enough about the hiking and and cooking up Old Fort Point Trail for a Peak-Nic with Estelle. She is such an informative guide who taught us about the areas vegetation and animals along the way up. Estelle's knowledge of backcountry cooking and tips was inspiring and the recipe she made was delicious!
What a stunning sunset view for dinner overlooking Jasper and the valley. I couldn't have pictured a better experience of hiking, food and fun! When in Jasper, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Jasper Food Tours for a local fun experience!

I would highly recommend the Peak Nic tour! Our guide Lindsey was amazing and very knowledgeable about the Jasper area. We learned about the local wildlife species and went at a pace to really soak up being in nature. The food was restaurant quality and you are able to soak up beautiful views while eating lunch.

Estelle was a wealth of knowledge about the forest and Jasper in general. We enjoyed our hike and were blown away by the food. We requested gluten free and she even tried some recipes the night before to test it out. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something unique.

Admittedly, when family members planned this activity on our recent travels to the Canadian Rockies I was skeptical. The idea of lugging packs of food and gear up a mountain to cook our own food was an undertaking approached with a fair degree of circumspection.
My misgivings, as I quickly discovered, were completely unfounded. Our guide Lindsey was friendly, welcoming and above all radiated enthusiasm. Our packs were light, the hike was both scenic and educational as Lindsey gave us volumes of information on various aspects of the surrounding nature.
Atop the mountain we picked our outdoor kitchen spot and set about the cook which included a mix of ingredients which, at the conclusion resulted in a feast exceeding most weeknight meals. I will not give away the menu here but rest assured, you will not be disappointed. The views were spectacular.
Lindsey went above and beyond to guide, help and make it a memorable experience which I shall cherish. Don't ask why...just do this activity.

Of all the experiences my new wife and I shared during our honeymoon in Canada, our morning hiking and cooking with Estelle from Jasper Food Tours is definitely our favorite. The hike/nature tour leading to the peak was full information about the national park and the history of the land it occupies. The PeakNic at the summit was incredibly thought-out and we'll executed. The food was prepared with care. Everything we hiked up with was used and repacked for a clean hike back down. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone visiting Jasper, and will definitely return for another PeakNic with family and friends.

Not to be missed in Jasper!
The experience is really great, the guide Lindsey is amazing and passionate about the environment. We enjoyed better understanding the different environmental ecosystems that we were passing through.
The meal is also very nice.
We loved preparing our naan breads and cheese in front of a magnificent panorama.
The hike is not very long or very difficult, it is accessible to everyone.
