Sea Turtle Release in Puerto Escondido
From USD 35.00
Experience the enchantment of releasing baby sea turtles into their natural environment on an evening tour from Puerto Escondido. After hotel pickup in a comfortable, air-conditioned car, travel to the unspoiled Palmarito Beach to admire the coastal splendor of the area. Receive an interesting introduction to the behavior and breeding habits of sea turtles before helping newly hatched baby turtles make their way into the sea. Watch the sun set over the virgin sands of the beach before returning to Puerto Escondido with magical memories.
What to Expect
You will be picked up at 5pm from your Puerto Escondido hotel. Board a comfortable van and head north on the main road for about 8 minutes. You will then take a detour to Palmarito Beach. This is a beautiful virgin beach located about 10 minutes away from the city.
Once you get there, you will head to the turtle camp site where a local guide will greet you and provide you with full information about the camp and the work being done to protect and save sea turtles. Right before sunset, you will be getting ready to say goodbye to the turtles as you appreciate the gorgeous landscape from the beach. See, hold and help the newly hatched turtles get to the water to start their amazing adventure into the sea.
After you have released the turtles, you will head back to the hotel filled with wonderful memories of this experience.

Should be. My partner went yesterday. We didn’t pay anything tho. If your happy to just go down and watch them be released it costs nothing. If you want to release one it costs MX$100 don’t pay for a tour
