        Great tour and guide
Rodrigo was our private guide and he was so knowledgeable and patient. (I was recovering from a cough so the uphill was a bit tricky). But it was a great tour nonetheless. I highly recommend.

        Amazing life of Monarch Butterflies
Absolutely amazing. I believe this is the first time I’ve ever rated anything on trip advisor as a 5 out of 5. So rest assured that I don’t hand out 5 stars lightly. The experience was a must see , the life of the monarchs are so amazing and to see them in such a large colony stunning. Rodrigo was a top notch and knowledgeable guide. It’s was an amazing trip of a lifetime in every way. Highly recommend you to add it to your bucket list.

        Great Walking Tour
This was our first time in Morelia and this city tour was totally worth it! Our guide was Rodrigo Rosales with Yei Tours. Rodrigo was extremely professional and knowledgeable. As mentioned this was our first time in this city and through this tour we were able to see the highlights and hear the history of the city. If you have never been here this is a must and if you get Rodrigo, even better. This way you are able to see the main sights of the city and see what you would like to go back to see throughout your stay. This is a walking tour so be ready to walk a lot. My dad has back problems so it was a little hard on him but after a few breaks along the way he said he will totally do it again.

Excellent tour. I have a passion for the prehispanic history of Mexico, and Rodrigo filled in many gaps in my knowledge in a friendly and entertaining way. Our tour was in Spanish, but Rodrigo's command of English was obvious. I would love to take another tour with him.

Informative historic center of Morelia tour
Very educational and informative tour of the historic center of Morelia . Rodrigo is very knowledgeable and captures his audience with historical facts on how the city was established from the ancient civilizations and up to the Mexican independence where the city got its’s current name of Morelia.

Learned More Than We Thought Possible
Rodrigo Rosario was our Guide and absolutely outstanding. For English speakers ask for Rodrigo because his English is idiomatic. His knowledge of Morelia's history, its buildings and his love of Morelia make the tour go from interesting to really special. Morelia has far more history than we ever realized and we live in Mexico. Morelia is a special place to visit and do yourself a favor and start your trip with the City Tour done by Rodrigo. David Lea

        Awesome experience
I did a solo tour of Uruapan! Rodrigo was a great guide. Picked me up at my Airbnb and we were off! Very knowledgeable of both sites you visit. He was able to give me the history and facts of both places. I was an English speaker and his English is great! You definitely want Rodrigo with you on any tour! He gave me great recommendations of other tours as well as food around the city! He brought a boxed lunches and cold water which was great on a long day of walking especially this time of year when it’s hot. He was mindful to give you time to take pictures and offered to take some for you! Great guide, awesome tour

Morelia. A City of history and so much more
Mr. Rodrigo R. Provided for absolutely every expectation of what a trip advisor would provide for. From city history, to cultural awareness, and everything in between. Perfect representation of what the grand City of Morelia has to offer. A cannot imagine a more informed representative of the city. A couldn’t have felt more comfortable and aware of what the city had to offer. Without doubt a tour advisor I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to again, again, and again. As a matter of fact, I did, and he provided for in timely professional fashion. Rodrigo, such an asset to both the City of Morelia, and Trip Advisor, as a corporation. How fortunate we’d all be if every tour guide was as professional, knowledgeable, and punctual, as Rodrigo is. We solute you Mr. Rodrigo R. We thank you for being you.

We booked this tour for our family during our trip to Morelia. Our guide was Rodrigo Rosales with Yei Tours. He was able to give us the history of all the sites with enough knowledge to keep us captivated throughout the day. We had taken the Morelia walking tour with Rodrigo and he did not disappoint on this second tour, highly recommend him as your tour guide. It was amazing to see all the historical sights that were included in this tour from the archeological site, to the hands on experience from the maestro in Santa Clara de Cobre and the authentic and delicious lunch at Once Patios restaurant and getting to meet Chef Isrrael. You cannot go wrong with this tour. Highly recommend it.

      Rodrigo is an amazing guide!
Did I mention a wealth of information?
      Professional? Accommodating?
We spent a week in Morellia and started our first tour with Rodrigo with a walking historic tour of Morelia which was exceptional!
The next day we did El Rosario butterfly sanctuary - again exceptional and an aerobic workout to boot.
We originally were meant to do the Patzcuaro and Janitizio tour and we opted out of walking up flights of stairs to the statue which I am sure is great to do Santa Clara del Cobre instead - gave us a break from hiking as we we did the Sierra Chincua butterfly sanctuary the next day - talk about accommodating! Our calves and thighs needed the break.
The modified tour was as follows:
The tour started at 0900 and we were picked up at the hotel.
First stop was the archeological site of Tzintzuntzan, we walked the grounds as we learned about the history of the indigenous Purépecha Civilization, again intriguing.
We took the scenic route to Santa Clara del Cobre via Lake Patzcuaro with some stellar views of the lake and islands.
The stop at the traditional copper artisan workshop for the demonstration was remarkable.
The artisan had been doing his craft for sixty years. You get a respect for the time and work it takes to complete each piece. Shopping opportunities.
We then went and had an authentic lunch of local cuisine (Included in tour price except drink) which was such a great meal and so filling we didn't do the desert that was included or stop for any ice cream while walking the historic square in Patzcuaro!
We found our way to the House of Eleven Patios (Casa de los Once Patios) where historically Nuns were cloistered.
The bath house with hot and cold running water was amazing for the time.
This also offered some really nice artisan shops to browse and purchase some items prior to returning to Morelia and capped of another wonderful tour and day with Rodrigo.
      He is the best!
What great value on ALL of Rodrigo's tours.

Splendid tour. The guide, Rodrigo, friendly, knowledgeable about the history and culture of Michoacán, answered all our questions. Time passed like water but we were able to enjoy the archaeological zone of Tzin Tzun Tzan, Santa Clara del Cobre and Pátzcuaro, in this last stop, with a typical and very tasty meal (including the famous gelatin cakes). Very enjoyable and we hope to return soon to see more of that beautiful state.

Our guide Rodrigo made this a very wonderful day. He is so knowledgeable and took us to several very interesting places. The highlight was probably Santa Clara de Cobra, where we watched and were able to join in as the talented copper artists formed bowls, etc. the fire was only feet away as they worked with the copper. Fascinating! Thanks to Rodrigo for 3 fabulous days....don’t miss the Morelia City tour and the Monarch butterfly sanctuary!

My wife and I had the pleasure of embarking on the magical journey to Pátzcuaro, Santa Clara del Cobre, and Tzintzuntzan with Yei Travels and our incredible guide, Rodrigo. The experience exceeded all our expectations. From the picturesque landscapes to the rich cultural immersion, every moment was a delight. I already submitted a review on Viator for this tour, but it’s so great that I’m leaving a review here as well!
On this tour, we learned a lot about history of Mexico and the state of Michoacan. It allowed us to see more of Michoacan, which would be rather complicated on our own. Rodrigo is a great guide and tour operator, all the places we visited were very worth it. It’s a private tour, which surprised us since there are some group tours in Mexico that would cost you much more than this PRIVATE tour where you get such a knowledge tour guide all to your self to ask any questions you want

It's fantastic to hear that you found the tour so enriching, especially in terms of learning about Mexico's history and exploring Michoacan.
