It was a really cool and fun experience! Mauricio was very professional and taught us a lot about surfing and made sure we were safe and comfortable as well to try new tricks. It's very physically demanding, and it took me a while to learn how to balance myself on the board while my fiance looked like a dolphin on it. Very worth the price and would do it again!

Our Guide Mauricio was very cool and friendly. The day was cloudy and rainy so he gave us the option to go to a different cenote/Lagoon where we would enjoy more the water and also gave us the option to go eat before the tour as it was just me and my fiance. It was a very nice experience in a beautiful place.

The Laguna de Kaan Luum tour with Mauricio was absolutely excellent! I can't fault it. Mauricio was so welcoming and friendly. I could tell he was a great guy from the messages we exchanged pre the tour to sort out dates and logistics. On the day, he greeted us so warmly and on the drive over to the Lagoon asked detailed questions about us and our work to get to know us better. He's so knowledgeable and such a great teacher. He tailors the experience to each person in the group and the group as a whole and makes you feel safe and inspires confidence if you need that. Lunch with him afterwards at Taqueria Honorio was an added bonus! What an awesome, fun day. I'll be recommending this tour, especially with Mauricio, to anybody who goes to Tulum!

Absolutely one of the best lessons I have ever taken! My boyfriend and I came to Tulum to take Wing Foil lessons with MC Kitesurf & Paddlesurf. We are complete beginners. From the start, Mauricio was very responsive and communicated with us regarding weather, conditions, and logistics. Mauricio is a FANTASTIC and PATIENT instructor. He took his time to teach us the wing on the beach first, then got us on the paddle board within the first 3 hour lesson. We came back the following day to practice more with the wing on the beach then back on the boards. Within 5 hours we were both up on the boards and making great progress. Mauricio really explains the basics very well. His correction techniques for feedback were always done positively and directly. You never had to guess what you were supposed to do. He was our biggest cheerleader throughout the lessons. Mauricio used safety equipment and had an area for us to store our beach bag safely while on the water. I cannot rave enough about what a great instructor he is. For reference, I am 53 year old female who is not super athletic or graceful. However, I was standing up on my board by day two! My boyfriend is 48 (and is an athlete) and was on the board on his own by day two. He was ready to move to a foil board the next day, since he obviously picked it up faster than me, but our vacation ended. We will now practice this sport at home to master the basics Mauricio taught us. We are already planning our next trip back for the next step of getting up on a foil board!

Beautiful site, excellent service and fun paddleboarding. Great local tacos to finish it off. Tip: go on a day without too much wind.

Mauricio took me and my wife on a SUP tour of the lagoon. It was so awesome! I did not stand up (not great with balance) and my wife stood up about half the time. Mauricio was kind and encouraging and gave us helpful tips. We saw some pretty birds and the lagoon was really pretty. On the way back he gave us the choice - go around the lagoon side again or over the cenote in the middle. We chose the cenote and it was so pretty! Anyway, all this to say, even if you are middle aged and outta shape, you can probably still do this tour well and have fun. Also Mauricio moves the SUPs back and forth to the van so you can just chill in the lagoon before and after. After SUP, Mauricio took us to an amazing and vegan friendly taco place - super yum! Highly recommended!

Mauricio is amazing! So kind and encouraging - a great teacher. We had a lovely time paddle boarding, snorkeling, and learning to free dive in the mangroves! Not to mention seeing the crocodile… Would definitely recommend you spend time doing this trip.

Mauricio and his team (Mathis!) are simply wonderful, very professional and fun! My wife took kite lessons and progressed a lot! I also kited in front of their kite school (Ahau Tulum), and we both had a great time! We also travelled one day with Mauricio's group to Isla Blanca for a perfect kiting day. How do I even begin?! Mauricio has been the BEST tour guide we've had on this trip! He was very proficient on communicating, offers pick up and drop off which is super useful in Tulum, and his social battery was over the roof! My husband and I cannot wait to book a trip with him again when we are back!

I highly recommend MC Kitesurfing, located on the beach side of the Ahau Hotel in Tulum. Mauricio is the owner/operator. He and his international team (Tomas from Hungary and Roma from Belarus) are terrific instructors. Mauricio was an exceptional teacher: patient, encouraging with very clear explanations of the whys and hows of kite and board handling. I’m 70 and actually got up (briefly) on the board. Great fun!

From total beginner to riding the board in a few days, Roman and Mauricio were absolutely amazing every step along the way. They are meticulous and systematic in their teaching approach. We had loads of fun and sustainable progress every single lesson. Highly recommended if you want to learn to kitesurf, rent some equipment or just say hi and ask some questions - they guys have a great vibe and are very knowledgeable.

We went with 4 (over 50 yr old) sisters/family and had a great time paddleboarding around a large cenote/bay. Mauricio was a great guide, very informative, friendly, professional guy who is a great paddleboard instructor for beginners. Took us to a fantastic place for tacos at the end of the trip. Well worth the time and money!
