          Chichen Itza Bus Tour
Our guide at the ruins was very good. I would give the tour a healthy 4 out of 5 but the guide on the bus spoke English 20% of the time so we had no clue what was going on with his explanations of things while we were travelling. It actually got annoying at times. The bus was comfortable and the people running the tour were very friendly. We were well taken care of.

          Tour was great!
Edwin was a great guide and very informative! Little bit of time killing in tourist shops required but it really didn't detract from the experience at all. I would highly recommend it.

          Chichen Itzà tour
Everything was fine, the “check-in” was a little bit slow. The bus was nice and clean, there was AC on the bus and it worked nice. There was a restroom on the bus. Our guide was really cool and informative. The cenote was beautiful. The english guide at Chichen Itzà was 5*.

          Great Pyramid/Cenote tour
This was a great tour. It was very well planned and the instructions of where to meet up and checking in went very smoothly. The guides were so good at explaining the day and what we should expect. Jimmy was one of our guides and he did an amazing job at explaining everything in Spanish and in English. I highly recommend this tour.

          Never again
Excursion Pick up was 30 late. The driver registered us for another 40 min and made us pay more money on the top of what we paid. Like 100 usd per family. In the bus ac was very strong. Cold. Toilet did not work. 1 stop - senod.  Was  good. Then they brought us to sm place with 30 min of cheap marketing. Trying to sell us smth we don't need. Then we had to stay 30min in a shop where we had to buy that obsidian things for super expensive price. Noone did. Then we had lunch. Disgusting.  On the way to Chechen Itza (finally) in the bus they gave us some green alcohol to drink amd straight away tried to sell us a bottle of this alcohol with our picture on the bottle stocked with scotch. On the way back we stopped in another town. It was dark already. Bus tried to park for 30 minutes driving around. Then we had 30 min to buy the food or go to the toilet.  On tbe way home it was raining.  So water started to leak from the windows inside the bus. In total exosting tour. Never again.

          Really great
Had a great time and I am 100% glad we went. Some of the criticisms about this tour are valid. The food was pretty mediocre. There wasn’t much need for me to spend time in the “Mayan village” shopping. I would have gladly traded those 30 minutes for extra time in Valladolid. But I also understand the need for tourism in small villages. So…. No matter what, we loved this tour. The guides were all amazing. Truly excited about sharing their knowledge about the ruins and Mayan Culture. If you just want cute pictures… hire a guide for the day and do your own thing

          Maya Culture Experience
It was a suprise to us that the Tour included also visiting a mayian community where we could buy Souvenirs and had a mayian ceremonie. All in all also interessting, but we spend approx. 2h hours there (including Lunch). Therefore, all the other activities that were actually mentioned un the descriprion of the tour like Chichen Itza, Zenote and Valladolid were quite delayed. But as there were a lot of other Tour buses at the Mayian community, I think all other Standard tours to Chichen Itza do the same. Apart from that "suprise" it was a really nice and organized tour. The transfer time in the bus was filled with interesting information about Maya by the Tour guid3.

          Go! Expect a Long day!
Really spectacular - long day - tour! Well organized, guides were entertaining and lovely. Only recommendation would be less time at the market place and lunch (lunch was a little underwhelming), and more time at Valladolid at the end. Still would recommend to any friend visiting the area.

          Tourist Trap. Avoid!
My girlfried and I were really looking forward to this trip. Mostly because of Chichén Itzá. Unfortunately we spent most of the time at Tourist traps where everybody just wanted to sell you something. Jimmy, one of our guides talked half an hour about himself, in a pace that it was obvious he said it a thousend times before with the exact same words. He even talked half of our bus into buying a Mayan Calendar for 30 USD or 500 pesos each. The Cenote was nice, but there are hundreds if not thousends of them, so you do not need it on a Chichen Itza tour in my opinion. Victor, our other guide was okay. Though we both have had way better tour guides on other trips. Jesus showed us around in Chichén Itzá and although it was a bit chaotic he did quite a good job for the little time we had there. The „buffet“ was very very bad. It actually was the worst food in three weeks of Mexiko. If you are interested in chichen itza, go on your own.

          Long but informative day tour
My boyfriend and I booked this tour for our vacation in Tulum to see Chichen Itza and more of Mexico. The pick up for the tour was outside a crowded supermarket, where we had trouble finding the guide, but ultimately were able to find him (phew). Our guide had a great attitude and was very informative, entertaining, and obviously took pride in his country. This made the tour feel special. We also appreciated that we went to Chichen Itza as the last stop, so crowds were very manageable and it was a pleasant experience of the site. A minor complaint is the limited time in Valladolid and copious amount of time in the local Mayan gift shop. I wish we distributed the time more evenly, especially when it was clear that the majority of the tour did not want to shop at the local artisanal market (probably due to the high prices). I would note is that there is a $26 USD pp fee for conservation and required life vests at the cenote that they collect before the tour in person, so bring cash. I still think the tour is a great deal for all you get to do in one day! It ended up lasting 12 hours with great stops and you avoid the lines and separate entrance fee of Chichen Itza.

Super guide, a little awkward down time.
Our tour guide, Roberto, was excellent, smart, passionate and down-to-earth. The only drawback to the trip was that too much time was spent at the rock shop, which had no accommodations for those of us who weren't interested in buying rocks and wanted to stay out of the sun and away from the burning incense smoke.

          Worst experience.
Worst experience. Broke a molar with a pebble in one of the dishes at Tropical Restaurant. Informed server/manager right away and after consulting with my dentist, I informed management about it and filed a claim. Which they denied because of “inconsistencies” about my story. They claimed that restaurant staff offered me dental assistance and I refused it, which is a complete lie.
