- 504ltm0 contributionsIncredible Cenote Visit with Jess!If you’re looking for an unforgettable cenote tour in Cancun, Jess is the guide you need! From the moment we met her, Jess was welcoming, knowledgeable, and full of energy. She took us to some breathtaking cenotes, each one more beautiful than the last, and shared fascinating stories about their history and significance. Jess made sure everyone in our group felt safe and comfortable, whether we were swimming, snorkeling, or just taking in the views. Her passion for the natural beauty of the area was contagious, and she knew all the best spots for photos! Thanks to Jess, our cenote adventure was not only fun but also deeply enriching. I highly recommend booking a tour with her—you won’t regret it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Written 26 November 2024

- U768TMjol0 contributionsCenote, ATV, Ziplining experienceThis excursion was absolutely amazing. We went to three different cenotes, the first there were BASE jumps of multiple levels available which was so fun, the second cenote- which we were able to reach via ATV at an additional cost, was gorgeous and had a small zip line which we could jump off of and into the water!!! Amazing so fun, the third cenote, which we rode our atvs to (a mini excursion in of itself), was an underwater cave which was breathtaking in its entirety. After that we rode our ATVS again back to the original meeting point but the experience was not over. Afterwards we went on a small zip lining tour through the jungle. It was the best. At the end we received an included authentic Mexican/ Mayan lunch so delicious. No need to worry about taking pictures on your phone as they have talented photographers / videographers who will capture every moment perfectly and you can purchase the pictures afterwards - completely worth it. All of these experiences were included in our package and it was a steal. The guides were knowledgeable, firnedly, comforting, and encouraging. This tour was one of the best moments of my time in Cancún 100% worth every penny and more :)Written 5 October 2024
- rogerbI8224VR0 contributionsBeware: Mexico Fining Americans Unfairly for ElectronicsI traveled to Mexico in September 2024 and had a frustrating and unfair experience with customs. If you’re traveling to Mexico, be extremely cautious about how many electronics you bring, and don’t expect any leniency, even when following the rules. This whole experience has been an unfortunate and costly lesson about how Mexico treats tourists at customs. My wife and I have been to Cancun 10 times in the last five years and never been treated like this. I was fined $212 because I had two iPads, which the customs officer claimed was over the allowed limit for personal electronics. However, I did not violate any rules—one of the iPads belonged to my wife, who had stepped outside to arrange our shuttle. Despite explaining this to the officer, they refused to listen and insisted on issuing the fine. Warning for American Travelers: Even if you’re within the rules, Mexican customs can still fine you for carrying multiple electronics. There’s no due process—once they’ve decided to fine you, there’s no arguing. I’ve been trying for weeks to resolve this issue with the Mexican customs, the US Consular’s office, and PREFECO (who is supposed to help with tourist issues but does not even return emails or calls). It’s clear this is simply a revenue source for them. You won’t get a fair hearing or any meaningful help in contesting the fine.Written 4 October 2024
- Andres C0 contributionsFun day on the waterWe’ve been to Mexico a few times and to Isla Mujeres twice, so we wanted to switch it up and find a less traveled island. We stumbled across Contoy. This island is nationally protected and only allows 200 people a day. It was a great experience and the beach felt empty. Isla Mujeres is nice, but if you just want to enjoy the beach without all the vendors and the crowds then Contoy is the place for you! The company we used was Contoy Adventures. They were wonderful. Provided a safe and fun atmosphere, food, and drinks. I’d highly recommend this trip!! Pro Tip: bring bug spray. They’ll allow you to put it on before you get to the island. It’s absolutely needed if you’re taking the small hike on the island. It’s not a hike per se but provides some nice views. We were destroyed by mosquitoes in a matter of minutes.Written 20 August 2024

This tour offered a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and adrenaline-pumping activities that made for an unforgettable day. - Jet654381445250 contributionsGreat way to explore natureOur guide was Jessi. She was very friendly and informative about the cenotes and about the area. We did the 3 cenotes and 4 zip lines as well. This was definitely a fun trip that didn’t take all day and wasn’t very expensive either. I would recommend people to check out this place. All of the staff was very friendly and we had a fresh authentic lunch afterwords.Written 12 July 2024
- dianagT1560QJ0 contributionsFantastic experience! We went with my 70 year old dad (he’s very fit for that age) and had a fantastic time at the cenotes. The high jump, the aquatic zip line, the caverns, all of the cenotes were fabulous! Our guide, Randy, was kind and knowledgeable. And the lunch was well worth the additional cost. It was honestly the best lunch we had on our trip, beating out our resort by a mile. We would 100% recommend going here!Written 28 June 2024
- samanthalQ9837AW0 contributionsMust do family activityThis was so fun. We were all glad we went. Our family is comprised of grandparents, parents, and teens. We tend to be more reserved, and by halfway through we were all up dancing, laughing, and participating. The crew has such a good time it’s hard not to join in. Definitely a highlight of the trip for us.Written 22 June 2024

Chicken Itza was interesting and amazing to see and learn the history. January was a great month to visit as it was warm but not hot and sticky. We easily walked the grounds with a guided tour guide which were Victor and Adrian who are fabulous. They knew all the history and gave just the right amount of info for us.
The cenote was very nice and refreshing and a worthwhile stop.
Along the way we stopped in a small village and enjoyed an authentic mexican lunch which we both appreciated, and we observed several little towns along the way. Despite their poverty they make do and find happiness with their families and culture. It was interesting to learn about the ladies dresses and other tidbits of info.
Victor, Adrian, and Felix were a great team for the all day tour 12 hours.
