Underwater Maya Snorkeling Tour
USD 105.00
Overview

Riviera Maya is known for its snorkeling opportunities, but knowing the best spots can be difficult. Discover the region’s underwater highlights on a tour that includes a secluded ocean lagoon and a Mayan cenote. Observe exotic fish and natural reefs in the Caribbean waters, then transfer to a jungle cenote to admire its ancient formation. Make the most of your day with lunch, hotel pickup and drop-off included.

What to Expect
You will start at the "lagoon", this is a sheltered bay with no predators, a beautiful reef with colorful coral formations and fish everywhere you look.

Come and see it with you own eyes! When you will be thinking it can't get any better than this after swimming in a beautiful natural lagoon full with life, you will head to a fresh water Mayan "cenote". Cenotes, as called by the locals, are natural crystal clear fresh water holes in the middle of the Mayan jungle. Here, you will go snorkeling through a maze of stunning rock formations that took millions of years to form. You can even see fossils on the walls!

The visibility in the cenotes is 100+ ft so it seems like you are flying and natural light comes through perfectly into the water forming beautiful curtains of light you can almost touch. Prepare to be in awe and take incredible pictures.

After swimming in the cenote you will go to the jungle surrounding the cenote where you will see many jungle animals like spider monkeys, wild boars, deer, crocodiles and more.

The Snorkeling tour was good but spend some money on your windsurfers

One of the reasons I booked at the Grand Palladium was because they had windsurfers for my husband. Please don’t make that mistake as their equipment is very largely out-of-date and mostly broken, with missing skegs etc. Of the 6 boards they had, only one...More

Wrong description

We did this excursion yesterday, April 5th. Contrary to what is described, we have never been to the "Lagoon". Our guide was very surprised that we were supposed to go there because he never went there with this excursion... Rather than "Lagoon" we went to...More
