Usually we can pick a favorite course but everything was so good there is no way to pick just one. For travelers interested in learning about the cuisine, history, and culture of Mexico this experience can’t be beat. Chef Alejandro and his wife Lorena hosted us in their beautiful home with the help of Oscar, their food & natural history tour guide. The tour included 10 gourmet courses of authentic Mexican food from various Mexican states and Mexico City, paired with various tequila, mezcal, beers. Portions were great for 10 courses, we were beyond full by the end of it. Using video aid on the large theater screen in the dining room, while we ate Oscar took us through this virtual tour amalgamating history, geography, culture, tourism economy of the region the food comes from and introduced us to its origin and relevance today. He graciously answered every question we asked. We also discovered a tequila there that was flavored with the root of a medicinal plant Chilcuague (aka Aztec Golden Root). Got a bottle to savor later. It has a zing to it that reminds of a hundred Sichuan peppercorns hitting you at the same time. This is an amazing foodie tour of Mexico where you never have to leave your seat while enjoying an amazing array of gourmet Mexican food from the comfort of a beautifully appointed home. Each of the ten courses transported us into a new region of Mexico. Beautiful sights and sounds showing us the music, architecture, and art of that region blended beautifully with the masterfully curated dishes. The small plates paired perfectly with Tequilas, Mezcal, or wines from that region. Service was impeccable. Our plates and glasses whisked away to be replaced with the next mouth watering offering. - EmmEll1520 contributionsUnique and well doneMy husband and I have been to Cozumel about 6 times and only this visit did we find a truly new and original experience in the 10 experiences tour. Although they have space for 12 guests we were the only 2 so the private presentation was sensational. The hosts greeted us at the door to their stunning home along with Marco the server and Anna the presenter and sparkling water with fresh fruit. The rest of the evening was exactly as outlined in the description with perfect pacing between courses and wonderful explanations of why certain ingredients were chosen in both the food and drink. The presentation of the various states in Mexico introduced us to stunning traditions, history and scenery and made us want to visit more of this beautiful country. Kudos to Alejandro y Lorena for imagining this treat. Oh ...one thing I completely misinterpreted from the website was about the tip. This is a must if you come to Cozumel! I came here with my family; 12 year old brother, me (21), and my parents. This is a good experience that I will surely remember for the rest of my life.
It was more than just a Restaraunt dinner, it was like a dinner party at a friends house with amazing food, video tour, and chatting! Our tour guide, Oscar, was amazing and answered all our questions and was very friendly!
We visited 10 regions of Mexico including Oaxaca, Mexico City, the Gulf Coast, Cozumel, and more!
Every course was delicious and impressive - definitely some of the best Mexican food we have ever had and will never forget. We had 10 courses including beef tacos, shrimp appetizer, Mexican soup, Mexican fruit dessert, and even chocolate tuna! My favorite was the soup and tacos! The alcohol pairings were also excellent and we got to try wine from the oldest winery in America and a cool rare alcohol only made in Mexico.
This is a great experience for any age and they even made replacement non-alcoholic drinks for the 12 year old! These drinks were also very delicious and if you are not a fan of alcohol, I recommend trying these to They serve margaritas, beer, white and red wine, Mexican alcohol, tequila, mezcal, and I think there is nearly a different alcohol for every course so pace yourself if you are a lightweight!
I learned more about the beautiful country of Mexico during this tour and felt the pride of Mexicans and felt like even I became Mexican for a night! I’ve never had a meal so amazing and the spectacular food, kind company, and video tour almost moved me to tears as I was overwhelmed by the joy of this experience and sadness that more people can not come visit Mexico and experience the beauty of the country and kindness of the people during this pandemic. I hope that more people can come to Cozumel soon and try out this amazing experience to learn more about Mexico!
The space was also very beautiful and lit up. We had the experience all to ourself and the staff made us feel like royalty throughout the whole meal! Oscar was a great host and Lorena and Alejandro were very friendly and great cooks and we were very happy to meet the chefs and creators of the experience and talk with them afterwards. If we return to Cozumel, we will definitely be trying out the 7 Experiences Tour!

This experience is unforgettable.
All 10 experiences were perfectly and uniquely crafted. From the drink pairings to the sauces - every small detail was meticulously thought out. We went as a couple and were joined by 4 others. It was a very intimate setting and I felt like royalty. The entire dining team showed us exceptional service and catered to our every need immediately. You will leave this dining experience with a huge smile on your face feeling lucky to have come across such a gem.
It was extra special for the chefs Lorena and Alejandro to come out from the kitchen and visit with us for a moment after the meal. We even received a beautiful video the day after that captured pictures of our experience.
Please do not let the price scare you away - when I first saw the price I thought it seemed expensive, however after leaving I would've paid twice the amount for the experience I received. Splurge on yourself a little and you will not be upset! I cannot recommend this experience enough

(Last visited 12/15/2021.) Wanna see my video review of this place? Head over to my YouTube channel, "The Hungry Road" and search for the restaurant's name! But, I am on vacation with my fiancée in Cozumel and as a gift to me she wanted to take me here! She had heard about it through the grapevine and was interested, so we made reservations and made it happen!
Atmosphere/Appearance: First of all, this isn't a regular restaurant. It's literally an experience. You can't just walk up in here and order. You make a reservation then you show up at the address where you are greeted by the owners along with a couple of staff members where you are welcomed with open arms. I also believe the capacity is like 12 or something as well. The inside is beautiful. The entryway has this tranquil waterfall that's so peaceful along with some birds hanging out to greet you. Once the dinner is set to begin you are escorted into a big room with a projector pointing at the wall and you are all facing the same direction. The lights are low, but you can still see well and there's lovely plants decorating the whole place.
Service: We weren't served by just 1 person, but the entire team. The service was impeccable as expected and they didn't miss a beat.
Food: So throughout the experience you're served 8? 9? 10 courses maybe? I can't remember, but each course is designed to represent a different state of area of Mexico along with an alcoholic drink to pair with it. I will not go through all of the things we had, that's what my video on YouTube is for, but the food was of the highest quality. Things from the coffee-sauced tuna with Oaxaca cheese, to a tequila that makes your mouth go numb and several delicious desserts just made the entire night. This is a place I wish I could dine at every single day because the food was that good.
Value: I can't remember how much it was, because the dinner was gift, but upon looking at the website it's $160.00/person for the experience and it was 100% worth it.
I'd love to do something like this again. They really need to have one of these types of restaurants on every country in the world!

It was a whim driven by the desire to share more of Mexico with old and new friends in the little amount of time we had left to be together in Cozumel, the beautiful Island I call home.
Our conversation had veered towards the expansive array of Mexican dishes and how it varied by region. It was then that I remembered the 10 Experiences Tour.
I contacted Lorena Sanromán, who together with her husband, Alejandro Torres, also the Chef, own the 10 Experiences Tour, here in Cozumel. Lorena put me in contact with Alejandra Carrasco, the reservations manager.
Alejandra’s response was swift, answering all our questions in a clear, concise and professional manner. We confirmed reservations for 6:00 pm that same evening.
Nothing prepared us for the amazing experience this turned out to be.
If you think you are just going to eat, think again. There is a reason why this is called an “experience”. It is so much more than just the food. Or the drinks. Or the ambiance. Or the service.
Since the minute one arrives, you are met by that old Mexican charm that made me fall in love with Mexico the first time I visited this country.
We were met by Lorena, Alejandro and Oscar, our tour guide. Why would you need a tour guide if you are here to eat, you may ask? I would love to spoil it for you, but I think you need to experience it yourself.
After a brief introduction, we were guided to our tables to begin our journey.
In the next three hours, our palates were led through ten of Mexico´s 32 states with dishes that combined their best ingredients into exquisite flavorful creations, each paired with their respective regional drinks.
At the end of this amazing evening – yes, I am using the word AMAZING again- we had seen places we had no idea that existed, learned about what makes them unique and tasted that uniqueness in each bite and sip concocted by the expert hands of Chef Alejandro and enhanced by the excellent service that Javier, Anahí and Moisés, our waiters, provided.
It is said in many Latin countries that the stomach is the way to the heart –I certainly fell in love with Mexico all over again.
And if you are wondering why I have not mentioned the price, it is because this experience is truly priceless!!

The "10 Experiences Tour" is presented by Lorena and Alejandro with their team.
Because we stayed in their apartment "Suite Terraza Cozumel" for a month, we had become curious about this culinary tour of 10 different Mexican regions. The approximately three-hour experience was (audio-visual) presented for a small group, with the flavors of dishes and drinks being served from each 10 regions. A special way to learn more about the Mexican culture with a culinary 10-course dinner.
The Tour is not cheap, but high quality and very professional.
For us, this "10 Experiences Tour" was an "Experience" to remember!
Because we stayed in their apartment "Suite Terraza Cozumel" for a month, we had become curious about this culinary tour of 10 different Mexican regions. The approximately three-hour experience was (audio-visual) presented for a small group, with the flavors of dishes and drinks being served from each 10 regions. We are Cozumel residents and give this experience 10 stars. Each dish a star. Why? We are food lovers, almost spoiled I would say. We had set our expectations on 0. I mean "What to expect from 10 dishes in a couple of hours...must be quite the chef to deliver so many high end dishes in a short time. And a tour.... sounds touristy". We were blown away. Cute and private ambience. The passion is to be found in many details. We were curious to the dishes per state, but got surprised with a dish per state presented "haute cuisine" and well, very well paired with dinks. Just WOW! As a bonus we learned about our country. Thank you to the whole team. SKY highly recommended. We will be back with friends and family.

Guests are guided through the experience with personal service, beautiful images and music from each Mexican region. 10 Experiences offers private bookings, and they are very responsive via WhatsApp. The experience guides/servers are knowledgeable, personable and attentive. The chef and his wife, are incredibly welcoming, warm and talented. The experience will make you fall in love with Mexico, if you haven’t already. 10 Experiences is a boutique culinary tour through 10 regions of Mexico. Each course features representative ingredients or dishes artfully prepared en la cocina de autor. Guests are guided through the experience with personal service, beautiful images and music from each Mexican region. 10 Experiences offers private bookings, and they are very responsive via WhatsApp. The experience guides/servers are knowledgeable, personable and attentive. The chef and his wife, are incredibly welcoming, warm and talented. The experience will make you fall in love with Mexico, if you haven’t already. This was my first fine dining experience and now I'm worried no other place will be able to compare!
My fiance and I were lucky enough to enjoy the experience privately! We booked on a day when there were no other participants which was really cool. The combination of the sights, sounds, and the history of the different regions of Mexico were entrancing by themselves. Combined with the incredibly delicious dishes that are well planned, not only for the specific region but also within the experience as a whole, it's truly a delight for the sense.
This experience not only made me want to return to Cozumel, but also made me want to visit the other parts of Mexico just to experience the rich culture and cuisine that I was introduced to.
Our hosts were wonderful and I loved getting to chat with them after the meal. Special thanks to our guide for the evening whose passion and knowledge were really the icing on the cake for the meal.
If you have any interest at all in cuisine, history, or learning about other cultures this is a must visit while you are in Cozumel. It's even worth a trip from Cancun!

Everything about this experience was perfect. If you are in Cozumel, do not miss this. It’s not just the incredible ten course tasting dinner with perfectly paired alcohol for each course; it was also the stunning video and music that accompanies each course, the expert guide to talk you through each region, the incredible service, and the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. Very, very special and memorable experience, and I learned so much about Mexico. Everything was executed to perfection. Just: wow.

This was such a fun night with a group of friends. It's less of a restaurant and more like being invited into someone's home. We had the 10-course dinner with pairings. Each course in from a different region of Mexico and there is a cool video presentation that accompanies each course explaining the region and highlighting some of the cool things to see and do in that area.
I've been living in Mexico for 4 years and I was introduced to some regions I wasn't familiar with.
The staff were really great and went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing night and we were all really impressed with how beautifully the space was decorated. There was a lot of attention to detail.
This would be a fun night with a group of friends especially if you have limited time in Mexico and would like exposure to regions outside of Cozumel.
As I understand it the menu can change depending on how many courses you order and seasonally, etc but standout dishes for us was the coconut shrimp, Aztec soup and green mole.
