My girlfriend and I had a great time on this tour. From the beginning, our tour guide, Enrique, had a bright and welcoming personality that put us at ease. My girlfriend and I have never snorkeled, so this was our first experience. It started rough since my flipper came off and water went down my snorkel in the ocean. My guide didn't get upset at all, he swam with me back to the boat, got me a new flipper, and then swam with me personally back to the group to make sure I was safe. I have never experienced such exceptional care from a tour guide and he had a smile on his face the entire time! This is a great tour because the staff is top-notch, everyone is looking out for you, and the tips they give us before docking on Isla Mujeres saved us from trouble. If you plan to take a go-cart to tour the island, I recommend taking the cell number of whoever rents the cart to you and also take the cell number of your tour guide. Our golf cart broke down and we almost missed the regroup time to get back on the boat. Other than that, the tour was phenomenal.

We took this tour not really sure what to expect as it was recommended to us by our TUI rep.
After being picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the Cancun Adventures port, upon arrivial it was very well organised as they had many trips all leaving at similar times, we were escorted to the guide for our trip who was CARLOS.
Speaking of Carlos - what an incredible job he does (and has) jumping between languages with ease to keep all the different nationals informed the whole time.
I had always wanted to go snorkling and the experince he gave us as he guided us around various areas was amazing (see pictures). He kept in constant contact with everyone taking part in a patient and friendly manner.
The food boxes they provided were very nice and quite filling, plus they were all very attentive so the drinks were always available.
Final shout out to the photographer (so sorry we forgot her name) - she did an amazing job both following us under water and getting some brilliant shots with her go pro and on board, she has helped us to never forget an incredible day.
We found the island of Isla Mujeres a little disappointing, The island itself is very beutiful and the beaches and water were stunning, just the constant harrassment from the shop and street vendors was just too much and made us not want to spend any money. Of course this isn't a comment on Cancun Adventures more a heads up if you go there.
We found personally we would have rathered longer on the boat and only an hour or so on the island rather than the 2 and half hours we actually had.
Overall this was a professional service carried out by some very capable and enthusiastic professionals.

We had an amazing time during our excursion to Isla Mujeres. The staff was very nice and communicated well with us. I would definitely recommend this excursion. Once you get to the island you have the option to do whatever you wish for about 2 hours. If you would like to walk around the island, bring comfortable shoes and cash. I would recommend bringing cash in pesos only and being aware of how much things cost so you do not get scammed. We enjoyed our time with the staff especially our tour guide Heleman and the blonde female photographer. Below are some pictures the photographer took of us.

There was nothing special about this tour. They sell it as an adult cruise, but I would say it's more a geriatric cruise. All the boats around us had great atmosphere and music. You could barely hear the music in the front of the boat even after multiple requests. You are better off buying the cheaper cruise. Half of the cruise was spent at Isla mujeres where you buy your own drinks/food..
The snorkeling and swimming were rough and all at the same places as cheaper cruises.
NOT WORTH 2x the cost of other cruises.

The adults only excursion included catamaran sail, snorkeling, swim and a visit to Isla Mujeres. I believe the time for the entire excursion was to be for 5.5 hours.
I should preface that we’ve traveled to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta for 10 years and only used this company and have had only excellent experiences.
But things have really changed or it was just this tour. We spent just 20 minutes snorkeling and 20 minutes at the next stop to swim. We then went to isla Mujeres and were dropped off for 2.5 hours.
The snorkeling and swim were way too short. It was crazy. We then had 2.5 hours on the island and there was little to do. It was so depressing. It was so rustic and pretty much only souvenir stands and awful places to eat with people hustling you for cab and golf cart rides.
Having been on many of these excursions I am accustom to and appreciate being part of the local culture. I am a visitor in their home and it’s me who adapts to the surroundings. This, however, was too long in one place with nothing to do. They fed us in the boat so we weren’t hungry. There wasn’t anything local to do except walk around what felt like the same street over and over.
Many of our traveling mates felt the same.
We were told we could leave all of our personal belongings on the boat. I had no issue with that. But as soon as we were docked and off the boat, the boat set sail
Back to the starting point and went back to get another tour group. We hadn’t been told that. But that surely explained why the snorkel and swim were so quick.
The crew was great! Very friendly. Just rushed!
We were so terribly disappointed. It was a waste of money to be sure.

When we arrived at Isla Mujeres we were told to stay together and were led to a jewelry store that also had tequila tastings. Here they tried pressuring us into buying grossly overpriced items. Then a recommendation was made for a gold cart. I was told the price would be $50 an hour but I was charged $118. On the way back to Cancun our bathing suits were wet as we had gone swimming at the beach. Our suit bottoms stuck to the deck of the catamaran and ruined them. No one seemed to care.

It is very difficult to write this review because Cancun Adventures itself was just fine. The tour guides on the boat were kind and accommodating, but neglected key information for tourists visiting Isla Mujeres. We were so excited to see the island and all that it had to offer, but had no idea what to expect when we got there. We rented a golf cart and toured the island which was fine, but after that we were walking back to the dock and everything changed. A street vendor grabbed me (I was with my husband and two boys) and forces us all into a jewelry shop. He insisted he worked at the resort where we were staying and was very convincing with details. While we were in this store the door became blocked from the outside until we purchased some jewelry. Fine...we purchased two silver chains for what we thought was $46 USD. Turns out we were charges $946 dollars US and are having to dispute this charge with out credit card. Such an awful experience-I will never come back to Mexico.

You can go to Isla mujerse island with 16$ yourself by ferry , but this company charges 115$ .
Their customers service is awful and they don't response to your email. 😑once they got their money they ignore yo and are not responsive!!!!

we were given dirty and unhygienic equipment. When we requested clean equipment, our request was refused.
Additionally, the snorkeling activity was poorly supervised, with only two staff members overseeing 30 to 40 people in the water. we were group of 7 people and only two of us were able to do the snorkeling activity!!!
❌the quality of food at the all-inclusive bar was extremely poor. They prepared the lunch box with their dirty hand and exposed them in hot weather,I personally witnessed glasses being reused without proper washing; drinks were simply poured into used glasses and handed to the next person. This is highly unhygienic and unacceptable.

The only positive aspect of this experience was the staff on the boat—they were great, funny, and kept the drinks flowing. While I’m not sure the drinks were truly premium, at least we had something to enjoy on the way to Isla Mujeres.
The bad:
- They upsold us on a "VIP Experience," which promised premium spirits, a beach club with chairs on the beach, and unlimited food and drinks. The only thing delivered was a less crowded boat; instead of 80 people, we had about 30 on a smaller boat.
- When we arrived at the so-called "beach club," it turned out to be a low-quality restaurant, and we weren’t even allowed to use the beach chairs! What was the point of paying extra for that as part of the "upgrade"? I wasn’t even offered a drink—it all felt very low-quality and completely not worth it.
It feels like tourists are being taken advantage of. I do not recommend this trip at all.

My family and I recently embarked on a catamaran excursion with snorkeling to Isla Mujeres, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Pedro, was phenomenal—fun, engaging, and he made the entire experience enjoyable and calming. As first-time snorkelers, especially with my 12-year-old, we were a bit nervous, but the crew expertly guided us through a 20-minute snorkeling adventure. We saw an abundance of colorful fish and the mesmerizing underwater sculptures of hands—a truly breathtaking sight.
Exploring Isla Mujeres was a delightful experience. We had the opportunity to tour the island, shop around, and indulge in the delicious local cuisine.
A special shoutout also to Jose, who took stunning photos of our adventure. They offered us a keepsake photo for memories, which we will cherish forever.

How long is the entire tour/day with this group…from pick up to drop back at hotel?

I think they picked us up around 10-1030a. We got back to our resort around 6p I think it was if not closer to 630p. It depends on where your resort is located for drop off, too.

Hiiii. There are no lockers. You basically just leave it all on the boats with the hope that people are respectful.

Yes you can stay on the boat if you don’t wish to Snorkel. I stayed on the boat and just more drinks! Have fun and enjoy!!

I have no idea. I would assume yes. It's a tourist destination. Honestly tho, there wasn't any major shopping to be done. Go to Playa Norte and relax.

If you go on their website to book there is a drop down menu of hotels they pick up from, they also have a chat feature that will answer any questions you have and they have a quick response time

This company has many boats, and I believe if you call them in advance, you could do a private tour, catered to your needs.

I don’t know… but you could try Expedia. They were extremely helpful with our transportation and tours in Cancun. You could also call the hotel…Our hotel had an Expedia rep there and we booked it a couple days before the trip.
