Small-Group Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City
From USD 35.00
Overview
Experience the Teotihuacan Pyramids UNESCO World Heritage Site on an affordable, small-group tour from Mexico City. A guide will escort you from Mexico City by local bus and walk through what was one of Mesoamerica’s most significant pre-Hispanic cities. You’ll see the site’s main attractions, including the Sun Pyramid, Moon Plaza and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, without having to brave public transit unaccompanied.
What to Expect
Arrive at the Fine Arts Palace at 8am, where you’ll meet your guide at the main entrance and hop a local bus with your small group. No need to navigate Mexico City’s daunting public transit system alone.

Upon arrival at Teotihuacan, your guide will lead you on an educational walking tour of what is considered one of the most important ruins in Mexico. It is also among the most visited. Your guide will help you wind your way through the crowds and catch all the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s highlights. Stops include the Avenue of the Dead Men, Rio San Juan, the Citadel, Pyramid of Quetzatcoatl, Quetzalpapalotl Patio and the Palace of the Jaguars.

If you’re up it, you’ll be given time to climb the Sun and Moon pyramids for a view of the entire pre-Hispanic city. After your tour, your guide will escort your group back to Mexico City.

Wonderful experience

My fiance and I had a great day at the pyramids. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Teotihuacan that transmitted to the group. Loved the tour and highly recommend it to others.

In Mexico City in the morning weather is cool but gets pretty warm midday. Walking shoes are fine but dress as lighly as comfort will allow. And use sunscreen.

LadyDre80 - our experience was that we concluded about 3:30 or 4:00. But, we took the Metro train back and you have the option of going on your own to other stops at that point! Very fun trip!
