Joss did a great job leading our tour. The food tour part of the experience was fun, but the experience was also a great walking tour of the district, as Joss pointed out many important sites as we walked along. We ended up going back to two of the locations on the food tour for a second helping!

Wow, visiting Coyoacán with a local was wonderful! Jimena, our guide, did an excellent job showing us the neighborhood and sharing how Mexicans enjoy an authentic day strolling through its beautiful streets. Highly recommended for trying different Mexican dishes and experiencing the local cuisine.

We had a really good time trying the different foods and learning about Mexican history. I would definitely recommend it! Our guide Tania was lovely and she even had a surprise for us at one of the restaurants (as we told her in the beginning of the tour it's our honeymoon).

Fantastic food tour around Centro Historico in Mexico City! Our guide Joss was so full of energy and fun and we had so much wonderful food - from fine restaurants to markets to street stalls (the seafood tostadas were Amazing!) - and even tried grasshoppers! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Our tour included another family, but they canceled last minute so we had the luxury of getting a private tour without having to pay the private tour fee. Our guide Joss was so kind, helpful, patient, and flexible. In between restaurants, we would stop at historical sites and received an explanation as to why these sites matter, and their impact on Mexican history. So we received more than just a food tour. All of the food was delicious, and it all taught us a lot about the history of Mexico and what was commonly eaten before modern times. I do not recommend this if you are a picky eater, but would recommend it 100% to everyone else.

I originally thought that this was going to be just a taco crawl around the historic area. I was totally wrong. We visited a variety of locations, including some stops in the historic market where we had various specialties of the house. We had everything from fresh fruit salads to carnitas, moles, wild meats (boar), ceviche and the list went on. While walking to each new locale our guide gave us the history of the area, pointed various points of interest and talked about the lifestyle and vibe of the neighborhood. Our guide Tania was the best, she was always ready for any questions we had and her knowledge of the gastronomy of the food we were eating was amazing. Tania ensured we were all having a great time and her attitude was infectious amongst the group. She really liked her job and enjoyed sharing her knowledge. I would totally recommend this tour and the handout and map will be great to use to go back and visit more of the areas foods.

Tania was an amazing guide with a wonderful personality. She provided wonderful explanations for each food tasting and was extremely patient with all of us answering our questions. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Mexico City.

The tour was well organized with a broad selection of traditional food/drink experiences and locations. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the food choices and local history. I would highly recommend for people who are a bit adventurous with their food choices. They also made accommodations for non-meat eaters and food allergies.

Joss was very kind. I was a little skeptical because I was the only one on the tour, but she made the experience very enjoyable. I got to learn about the culture of the food while also tasting it. The food was very delicious. The tour was amazing once we got to each place the food was there ready for the tasting. I would definitely recommend this tour to others and it made my first experience in Mexico the best. My favorite food I tasted was the tostadas.

Our guide Tania was beyond exceptional. Her English is excellent and she is very enjoyable to be around. The amount of food you get over the course of 5 hours is unbelievable....come hungry!

I enjoyed the day with our group from around the world. Part of the fun is meeting people from other countries. Danae our group leader was fun, informative and kept watch to make sure no one got lost. The pace was perfect. Lots of food. Don’t eat before going! I recommend this tour.

We had a great time with Danae and Tammy. The food was great, there was a good variety of dishes (and some exotic surprises!), and the stories around the historic center stops were entertaining and enlightening. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting this part of Mexico City, it was well worth the time.

Ricardo did a great job showing us the food and neighborhoods of Mexico City. Had a great time learning a little history, eating great food and seeing the city. You can’t beat exploring tacos in Mezcal with Ricardo.
