About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- michaelfL8863OC0 contributionsCustomer service was great! Bikes were absolute junk!Let me first say that the all the people that we spoke to or delt with were super; all were helpful and friendly. This is the only reason they are getting 2/5 instead of 1/5! The bikes that they had look to be 5+ years old and not well maintained. They are fat tire bikes with a front hub motor (uncommon). With a front hub motor the front wheel will slip on loose gravel going up hills as all the weight is in the rear. Also, with the front hub drive, there was no E-assist, only a throttle. It appeared as though they picked the best bikes that they had available for us to ride, my wife's bike from the start wouldn't shift to any higher gear than 3rd and mine had a very loose front end that I pointed out before we left. It seemed like everything on the bikes were a little "loose". My bikes brakes (cable disc brakes) somewhat worked when we left the business, however, during the trip they became less effective with each use until finally on the way back, I had to stop and tell the guide that I wasn't going to ride this bike back as it was too dangerous. I was squeezing both brakes so hard and so long going down the steep hills that my hands hurt. By doing this, it just had me going slow enough to not loose control. There was no way I was going to actually stop the bike if I really needed to. My wife's bike's brakes worked better, but not like they should have. I actually work at a bike shop and had any of their bikes come in for a tune up or repair, our technicians would have told them that they weren't worth repairing. Honestly, there wouldn't have been any components on their bikes worth saving. When I say that the bikes were junk, that's really not describing how bad they were. In spite of the crappy bikes, we had a nice time on our outing, however, it could have been a great day had we even had decent bikes. I cannot recommend this trip until they replace their ageing equipment.Written 25 February 2024
- Bobh50000 contributionsGreat E-bike city/ mountain guided tourI loved the mountain bike tour. Hugo was an excellent guide. He explained how the bike works and what not do. During the tour he kept a close eye and alerted upcoming watch outs etc. The tour is quite varied in terrain, starting through downtown before heading up the mountain. You must be prepared for high speed, some bumps, some twists and turns and sharing the road occasionally. All in all exciting and well worth it if you are careful and cautious. There are some dangers but that’s what we seek. Hugo knows people on the route and we stopped for a delicious taco lunch and a swim in a very refreshing natural fresh water pool. Much better than the global burned hot ocean. The bike has a saddle bag, bring a towel and take a dip. Also sunscreen. Hugo provided bottled water.Written 23 September 2023

- kimmR8861QT0 contributionsDiscouraging morningAfter an Uber dropped us off at the address we were given for pick up, we spent one more hour walking in the heat trying to find the place. We asked many locals and they didn't recognize the address. I emailed the owners, no response. I called the number given and was hung up on three times. It was a bit of a nightmare. We're out the deposit money, and round trip costs from Uber. Would not recommend.Written 19 May 2023
- LesliM7010 contributionsFun and ChallengingThis was a fun and challenging way to see the downtown and foothill area. Beware that you will be riding on cobblestone streets most of the way. It's a rough ride and not for the feeble or Timid bike rider. Had a great guide Piter who made sure we were safe.Written 12 May 2023
- NoreenOR0 contributionsI’d do it again in a heartbeat 💙What fun! We went for this e-bike ride just this afternoon. Hubby and I have done a bunch of e-bike tours and this one was different and special. Be forewarned the roads are cobblestone type and the next terrain is dirt and rocks. I am 65 and a daily bike rider. I add that because I think if you are older like me, you should have a little bit of experience and have no physical issues as the cobblestones are quite bumpy. That said it was such a fun trip and Hugo was patient, experienced, knowledgeable and more importantly, I felt safe with him. I would do this again, in a heartbeat!Written 14 April 2023
- chriscW4431JA0 contributionsFun tour of the areaHighlight is the food and drinks at Rancho Mi Abuelo. Just about the time you are ready for a break you hit the rest stop point and turn around. We had a very nice lunch, some tequila tasting and overall a fun way to see the area.Written 10 February 2023
- ColleenM22590 contributionsRolling on the MaleconThe two of us rented bikes for the day. Service at the shop was great. Omar was very helpful to make sure our bikes were a good fit for us. The main drag in PV has a bike lane to take you almost all the way to the far end of the Malecon and from there you can bike back towards the shop, stopping for a cerveza along the way. The side streets can be a bit tricky, narrow with traffic but not too bad.Written 23 November 2022
- P231YZstaceyg0 contributionsDon't Rent From Them- Refuses to Follow their Refund Policy and Fabricates InfoDo not rent from this company. We had to cancel our reservation and did so more than 2 days in advance, which their policy allows a full refund. The company refused to provide a refund for our prepayment, kept emailing the same questions to buy time, and created a fake receipt to say that we only had a "provisional" rent agreement and try to con us into thinking they did not charge us despite our credit card transaction and receipt emailed to us. Still waiting for our refund over a week later & now disputing with their bank.Written 8 September 2022

- melissad4990 contributionsUp in the hillIt was a great way to spend 4 hours- but beware it’s all cobblestone and dirt roads. So it’s bumpy- person needs to def be fit because of that alone. They took us though the back contra up the mountain to a nice ranch for relax and more. My guide was Moyses and the English speaking guy from Nebraska- both. Did their job well. Thanks for the trip.Written 11 May 2022
- rachelm3850 contributionsDefinitely worthwhileThis was our first time on an e-bike and we absolutely loved it. We were really surprised at the speed you could get up to on the bikes and it was great fun weaving through the crowds on the malecon. The taco stands where delicious and we would never have found them without the tour. At the second stop we also discovered a great wee bar called el gringo and a fresh churros vendor which was a massive bonus as we went back to both the next day. Hugo was our guide and he was great, really friendly and knowledgeable. Great way to pass and evening and get the lay of the land.Written 9 January 2022

Hugo was an amazing guide of the area and hit all the highlights! Word of advice do not eat prior! The taco’s were authentic and great! The electric bike made it very easy even on the hills. Plan on doing a more aggressive mountain tour next time. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I only planned to rent some bikes but after meeting Siete we decided to try the 4-hour Ebike tour. This was such a wonderful time! We biked through the mountains, stopped for a cocktail by a waterfall, enjoyed an authentic lunch in a nearby town, stopped by Elizabeth Taylor's old home and finished the tour at an overlook point with the best view of PV. So many great things we would've never seen or knew about if we had biked on our own. And saying goodbye to Siete was like saying goodbye to a friend. He was really friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and fun. He even took a ton of great pictures and sent them all to us. I highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I went on this tour together. We were very happy with it. The guide was awesome, very friendly. Spoke good English. We loved biking on the Malacon and felt adventurous biking on the cobblestone streets. The first taco place we stopped at was really good. The second was a street vendor that was ok. The third creeped me out because the guide said it was beef and then after we ate it he said it was Cabeza which is head meat. I would have liked to know what exactly I was eating. I felt a little tricked. My husband wished they had taken us to one place that served fish tacos. All in all it was a good experience just wish the guide would have been more transparent on what we were eating as we asked and I’m pretty picky.

I would highly recommend doing this tour! Our tour guide Hugo was absolutely AMAZING!! This tour is different from the average ATV & zip lining excursions. It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself into what Puerto Vallarta has to offer. We met great people, explored the tortilla, tile & leather factories. We also tasted delicious tacos and ended our tour with a tequila tasting, you can’t beat that!! Who knew riding bikes around town could be so fun?! Try it and see for yourself, you won’t regret it!!

Hugo was our fantastic tour guide! He took us to some very tasty taco stands. As it was only my husband and myself, he was able to take us to a few other places that we had not been to before. He took pictures and videos of us, which he shared with us. I highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I were looking for a guided tour to show us around downtown Puerto Vallarta. We are so glad we found the ebike tour and taco tasting! Hugo was our guide and he was so wonderful! I struggled with the ebike a little bit and he really took care to make sure I could handle the terrain and the bike. He took so many great pictures for us and showed us the main sites. After three delicious and authentic taco stands (the birria was our favorite!), he also took us to a tequila tasting which we were not expecting. We really enjoyed this as well and left with a bottle of coffee tequila liquor. The whole experience was so fun.
Some tips: Arrive hungry! The bikes are a little heavy and large for shorter people like me, but you can do it. Hugo will help you!

Excellent customer service! Our guide was super nice and accommodating. One person in our group was too small for the bikes and they still found a way to keep our group together for the taco tour.
