About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- GoPlaces642122102450 contributionsGreat day out.Hong island is beautiful but unfortunately there were many jellyfish so we could not go in the sea to snorkel after my husband was stung. Climbed the stairs for a spectacular view. Boat trip well organised and. Host was very courteous and knowledgeable. Barbecue was lovely. Sunset view was beautiful. Would recommend.Written 21 March 2024
- DPGA120 contributionsExcellent Experiecne with Krabi Sunset ToursI couldn't find the exact tour we did on TripAdvisor, so will leave my review on the company's main page - for reference we booked the 'Krabi: Hong Islands Longtail Boat Tour, Kayak, & Viewpoint' listed on 'Get Your Guide'. The tour we had with Krabi Sunset Tours was honestly one of the best days we had in 3 weeks in Thailand - it's an excellent expereince and really well led by the company. It's a shame we didn't spend longer in Ao Nang because we definately would have booked the 4 islands tour to do as well.Written 12 January 2024
- H6182OTgraceg0 contributionsWonderful tourWonderful tour company, enthusiastic staff, well organised and timed tour (we did 7 islands sunset), the snorkling was incredible!! Yummy dinner too. A must do in Ao Nang!Written 20 May 2023
- Prasil C0 contributionsRelaxing and fun!Compared to other tours, this is more relaxing. The only disappointing part was the bioluminescent part as it was quite hard to see. But still, it was a fun experience and I recommend it.Written 11 March 2023
- JennyTan230 contributionsWonderful tripFriendly, helpful and very patient staff. However, some of the safety vest need to be replaced amid broken buckles n the straps are shredded. Food is insufficient. Other than this, everything is perfect.Written 11 November 2022
- 673ivetab0 contributionsDisappointedOur tour started at 11 am, while pick up time was agreed at 9.30 am. Long wait at the pier, there was not enough food for everyone, they dropped us off far away from shore- shoulder deep with all our bags and told us to walk to shore it is not deep.Written 23 October 2022

Everything was great, from the pick-up at the hotel to the beautiful islands with the longtail boat and explanations along the way. The BBQ on the beach at sunset was also just great and a real eye-catcher. I can only recommend it!

This reservation did not make the tour, I contracted one with another reservation number and paid 4 months before, I have seen the charge for this tour amount higher than the one I contracted and charged to the card 3 days before the tour that was already in the country visited?????? They charge for 3 tours with different reservation numbers and on both of them it says COMPLETED. How can it be if I only give the voucher for the one I really contracted????
In addition, the tour is terrible, they pick you up at stops, they leave you on a beach with hundreds of people and a lot of those who regroup in boats that are not advisable, many people in each one of them and the ladder to get down and get on the "boat" was very high and it was difficult even for the most athletes. Visit of the islands poorly explained and time poorly distributed. I did another similar one on PhiPhi and night and day. I advise against this

Shockingly poor.
Sadly not as pictured or advertised.
It says its not wheelchair accessible, but it doesn't tell that unless you are under 30 and fit as a butchers dog with ceet of hardened leather you won't be able to clim on or off the boat.
It uses a dodgy metal run contraption they sling over the side. It slides around and can fling you off. On our trip, one lady fell off it onto the beach/shallows, and 2 others got covered in bruises from it. They don't really help you either.
One lady slipped and fell as she got onto the boat from it, too.
97% of the coral is Sadly dead, and the visibility in the water isn't great.
We were picked up at 11.50, offered one bottle of water, and had no food until 5pm. The food quality is subjective, 7 out of 8of us didn't eat it. chicken thigh, barely cooked prawns, rice, boiled carrot and cabbage and fish that was like trying to eat a mouthful of cactus, plus one can of soft drink.ours was supposed to include a Thai snack too, but that never appeared. 7 islands is stretching the description a bit and as for the bio luminescent plankton..... nothing like the pictures. A few spots of sparkle in the water that you could barely see from the boat and not much better in the water. 1 toilet stop, and it was awful. The only redeeming point was the sunset.
It says a max of 30 people, but that is per boat. They take about 100 people in total each time.
Lastly, when you return to the dock, you can have a ridiculously long walk back from the boat along the sand in the pitch black to where the return transfer is waiting.

Dear T9048NAclairep
Thank you for your feedback on your recent tour. We sincerely apologize that your experience fell short of expectations.
We understand your concerns regarding the boat access and will be reviewing the embarkation process to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
Regarding the food, we offer dinner and seasonal fruit on the tour, with no snacks included. We appreciate your feedback on the meal quality and will be reviewing this with our catering team.
We advertise the tour as visiting 7 islands, with stops for snorkeling and sightseeing. Bio luminescent plankton visibility can vary depending on natural conditions, and we apologize if it wasn't as spectacular as the pictures portray.
We're also sorry to hear about the limited toilet facilities and long walk back in the dark. We'll work on improving these aspects of the tour for future guests.
The maximum capacity of 30 people is indeed per boat, with multiple boats departing for larger groups. We'll ensure this information is clearly communicated in future bookings.
Thank you for highlighting these issues. Your feedback helps us improve our tours and provide a better experience for all our customers.
