Fantastic day trip from Yogyakarta. I had seen excellent reviews and arranged a private driver to go to Selogriyo Temple, Chicken Church and Borobudur temple. A long day but perfectly doable. Our driver was Toro and he was absolutely awesome. Spoke very good English and we learnt about his family and had good conversations. He walked with was to Selogriyo Temple (about 3kms return) - see separate review. He found was a lovely spot for lunch and got us to Borobudur for our 2.30 allotted time. He helped us right through to getting sandals and waiting to begin. If you can get Toro as your driver you will not regret it - great and careful driver and we had an excellent day.

I had a great time with Sesawi Tour, who delivered a magnificent experience during this challenging period. The overall experience is one of a kind - the hosts know deep insights, as they are able to connect us directly to the artisans. The wooden mask was, for certain, pretty valuable as a takeout!

We were lucky enough to be able to have Indra show us around Yogyakarta for 2 days this year. He is an amazing guide and a truly great person. We had a rough start to our trip and had to reschedule and Indra was more than accommodating. We told him the sights we wanted to see and he created an itinerary that was perfect. Over the two days we really feel like we became friends. Indra came sand boarding with us, which was a blast. Really can't recommend him high enough!!

Christine is an amazing and hard working woman. She showed up on time early in the morning to accommodate our request. She helped us through out the day taking good pics and walking us around. She’s an amazing example of how uncorrupt / nice people can be. She still need to learn about the guiding an tour but I have no doubt that she will in no time.

Indra was an awesome tour guide! We appreciated how he was able to customise the tour for us and went above and beyond our expectations. Highlights of the tour included arranging lunch for us with a beautiful undisturbed view of the rice fields, answering our never ending questions about anything and everything about Jogja, showing us the best photo spots and taking photos for us, and sharing his own personal experiences and stories. I would highly recommend and if we had more time in Jogja, we would definitely book another tour with him!

Indra was a very friendly and accommodating tour guide - he gave us advice on our route but let us pick the pace and the destinations by ourselves. He felt like an old friend, sharing about his experiences that led him here and his passion for Jojga. He was very knowledgeable about Jojga and the surrounding areas, and our favourite part of the trip was a secret lunch spot he took us to in the mountains that overlooked a beautiful rice paddy field - it was a very personalised and thoughtful tour, and we would highly recommend spending a day with Indra.

We had the best time at our batik mask making class with Sesawi tours! Our hosts were kind, knowledgeable and accommodating, everything you want in a tour! We learned so much and had a fabulous time making our batik masks! The lunch afterwards was also delicious and overlooked a rice patty. Sesawi tours can accommodate any tour in the local Yogykarta area at a far price as well as extended multi day tours around Java and East Java. I only wish I would have met them sooner and I would have booked all of our Java and East Java experiences through them! I can only recommend 100%! P.s. I wanted to experience the bartic. I didn't want to be normal, but I found a batik mask and made a reservation. She was kind and smart. Thanks to her, I learned a lot of fun and I will bring my bartic mask to Korea as a souvenir. Next time I come to Yogyakarta again, I will make a reservation again

Our guide Christine was wonderful in explaining the local area and culture as well as helping us figure out different places to explore in Yogya. The lunch was delicious and she really worked to accommodate my veganism. Creating the masks was fun and Christine was a great instructor explaining the history of batik, the different symbols and in helping us figure out the tools and correct our mistakes

we had great day out with Indra on this full day tour. The car was near to new and Indra drove safe. He gave loads of info about local culture. The restaurant with the sweet meat is highly recommended.

I admire Indra's professionalism and hospitality. He's a perfect host for a solo traveller, I mean on how he engage in coversations felt like I was travelling with family. Also, I was on a tight budget and the price didn't put a hole in my wallet. I'll definitely recommend him!

Had fun doing batik on wood with my adult daughter and 10-year old niece. And the lunch afterwards near the rice fields was delicious. Highly recommend for those who enjoy learning new skills. I highly recommend this tour/workshop. Christine and Indra are very nice tour guides. Making your own batik on wood is fun. And in the end you have an unique souvenir which you can take home. I highly recommend!
