Full-Day Small-Group Tour to Pig Beach by Powerboat
From USD 379.00
Overview
Visit five islands in one day on this powerboat tour from Nassau, Bahamas—a great choice for first-time visitors and nature lovers. The highlight of this tour is a stop at Pig Beach to swim with the pigs. Also see Bahamian rock iguanas, swim with nurse sharks, and stop at a secluded beach. Plus, a sightseeing tour of the Exumas from the boat is included.
What to Expect
Your morning starts when you meet your guide at the Nassau Paradise Island Ferry Terminal. Board a powerboat and set off for the Exumas, an archipelago of 365 tiny Bahamian islands and cays.

After a sightseeing tour of the Exuma Cays from the water, stop at one of the small islands to see the Bahamian rock iguana in its natural habitat and watch a feeding demonstration. Then cruise to Pig Beach on Big Major Cay to see the Bahamas’ swimming pigs and splash around with them in the clear, waist-deep water.

Next, stop for lunch (own expense) and then cruise to Compass Cay to swim with nurse sharks. That leaves just enough time to stop at a hidden beach or swim around a shallow sandbar before heading back to Nassau to end your tour.

This was an excellent excursion. I originally signed up for the full boat tour, but due to the weather, I had to upgrade to the private flight to get to the Exumas for $150 more. If you can afford it, I actually just recommend taking...More

A long time. It was over an hr to get to iguana island. You spend about 15 mins there and then over another hour to pig island. Pack your sunscreen.
