      Amazing Day!
This is the best tour on the island! We loved kayaking through the lagoon which is smooth and perfect for anyone prone to motion sickness. The walk along the cay we beautiful! We loved seeing the hundreds of hermit crabs, the conch, starfish, and so many fish! We also loved the blow hole and our snorkel time. We also enjoyed hearing the history of the island. I would definitely do this tour again!

      VI Ecotours the best
This turned out to be a very enjoyable tour for my family of nine ranging from six years to senior citizen. This doesn’t require overexertion and the views were beautiful. We had a few bumps with our guide that day, but I feel that it was an exception, and the management of Eco Tours was extremely responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this for anybody visiting the island. I booked directly with Eco Tours and saved money instead of booking with my cruise ship or Viatours.

      Great adventure!
What an awesome excursion. The kayak trip through the mangroves was fun and educational. The hike and snorkeling was also delightful. We saw quite a few different kinds of wildlife on this trip. It was very enjoyable. My son can’t stop talking about it.

      Kayak Magic!
One of the best parts of our visit to St Thomas, our party of 5, including a 9 year old, kayaked through the mangroves and over to the little island with the blow hole and thousands of hermit crabs where we snorkeled and then walked through the island to the boulders by the blow hole, it was great!

      Hidden sea life snorkel adventure!
We did the kayak and snorkeling. It was a great experience, our guide was excellent, he showed us many things we would not have found on our own like octopus and starfish. I even got to hold a starfish in my hand. It was a fun and educational time, I would go again and recommend to anyone.

      Great experience
Had a great experience kayaking & snorkelling with this company. I would definitely recommend it. Taxi was expensive to get there from the cruise port as there is no Uber on St. Thomas, that is not the tour company's fault but worth mentioning, so others know what to expect.

Green Sea Turtles are so cool - Brewers Bay Snorkeling
Our goal was to see some sea turtles and it was Mission Accomplished. We had 10 in our party and 5 couldn't swim if our lives depended on it. Our guide DJ was patient and he literally had to drag one of us on a buoy the entire time. The water at Brewers Bay was clear and teeming with wildlife. DJ is a marine biologist and spoke to us at length about what we were seeing . We had a great time. If you have only a 3 hour port call, this is one that you can fit in. Thank You DJ

This was by far the craziest thing we have ever done. It was not glow in the dark experience I thought it was going to be but it was very interesting and eventful.

      A great adventure!
Wow! What a great adventure! The guides had so much knowledge, excitement and passion for what they do. They taught us a lot about the mangroves, the eco-environment, the history... they showed us various creatures from the tide pools.

Last minute we decided to do the Sunset Kayak tour instead of a self-guided tour of the Mangroves. So glad we did! This excursion was definitely a highlight of our trip! Lance was a fun guide and very knowledgeable. He pointed out several things we never would have known or noticed on our own. Held a Conch and touched a jelly fish. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Mangrove Lagoon is well worth making time for. Our group of six people was 3 generations and everyone enjoyed it. The sunset kayak tour was very peaceful and the reflections on the water were quite stunning, Not sure that would happen all the time. The person booking the tour offered to give us another day, because it had been raining, but we chose to go anyway. Then the sun came out and stayed out until the end. We had learned not to change plans based on the weather of the moment.
We didn't see an abundance of birds at that time of day as they are getting ready to nest for the night, but we did see osprey, pelicans, and a few other other species.
Our guide was outgoing and friendly, but perhaps still learning about the mangroves themselves and the bird species.
We were off the water before the sun actually set which was ok, but not what I expected.

Our favorite part of our experience was our tour guide. He went above and beyond as he took his time telling us stories about the mangroves, Island and his life experiences. We felt safe and sure as we followed him, even when it began to get dark. We even shored the kayaks on a small island to get some breathtaking views of the sunset. His greatest advice to us was to visit and hike down to the Mermaid's Chair, where the Atlantic & Caribbean meet. It is off the beaten path and known by locals and was by far the best hike we did all week! Thank you, Eco Tours! :)

The Sunset Kayak tour allowed us to see some beautiful scenery and views, but the best part of our experience was Lance, our guide. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable. He allowed us to spend time where we wanted more time and to continue on when we wanted less time. The whole experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend it to anyone. Make sure you ask for Lance.

My girlfriend and I booked the sunset kayak tour on 3/21/2022.

Decker led us on an informative and relaxing paddle through the mangrove lagoon at sunset. He showed us upside down jellyfish, hundreds of queen conch, and plenty of juvenile fish as we paddled through the mangroves and along the shoreline. We were even lucky enough to see some egrets and herons as well as a small reef shark. The paddle led us to the inlet near Patricia Cay where we disembarked our kayaks and walked around the exposed beach at low tide, where we heard about some of the history around St. Thomas.

This is a perfect experience for couples and families who wish to see some of the more protected marine environments of St. Thomas and connect with nature. I definitely recommend bringing a flashlight or head lamp as it get’s dark quick when the sun sets, and a pair of shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.

It was really nice to have taxi transportation to and from the location. We were given the option of tandem or single kayak and I got brave and did the single. That’s where I went wrong. I couldn’t keep up with everyone! Thankfully the second guide, Edward, hung back with my slow self and didn’t make me feel bad at all. Close to the end he hooked me to his kayak. I still had a great time and great workout. We were provided with water bottles at no cost and offered bug spray. You can purchase a locker rental ($5) or if you have a vehicle can give your keys to the front desk to hold onto. There was a shop with other essentials and souvenirs for sale as well. D, our main tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. We saw a bunch of birds, a jellyfish that he let us hold, and other wildlife. We went pretty far and they didn’t hold it to the specified time, which was nice. They took their time with us and it was really enjoyable. You can tip the guides in cash or Venmo/PayPal. I would definitely do it again (tandem next time though!). Thanks for everything guys!

We booked this last minute and it was so memorable and a stunning way to spend a St Thomas sunset. My husband and I sat in a double kayak, while everyone else chose if they wanted singles or doubles. The website description wasn’t clear for me about that…if there were various boat options. I sent them a text message and it was cleared up almost immediately and I was also able to book over text! Very convenient. Be sure to have yourself bug sprayed! The knots are awful without spray. Also the location is a big off the beaten path, so don’t feel odd about pulling into a dirt driveway in front of a run down building. It’s beautiful inside. Also good to know there are only portables for restroom use, a bit of a trick of you are a woman wearing a one piece. Our guide (Emile?) was very knowledgeable about the area and we lucked out with just four people in our tour, so it felt very private and fun. We saw only a bit of wildlife, but for me the reward was being in the calm waters at sunset. Surreal experience. Considering booking again while here…

Definitely be at least 15mins early or they will begin without you. Bring and use the bug spray before you go out because the bugs will eat you up once the sun goes down. Dont buy the $30 picture package unless you want blurry photos. You receive a link to a bunch of pictures of coral and sea life that you could actually get from google and not many pictures of the actual experience. I could have done better with my wet cell phone.

This tour of the mangrove lagoon was unexpectedly gorgeous. The water is so clear and shallow enough that you easily see the bottom. We spotted two rays and several parrot fish. Our guide Emmanuel was passionate about both the beauty and preservation of this ecological wonder. He also told us how pirates used to lure merchant boats in to a "false opening" from the ocean to the lagoon. That spot - the false opening - was breathtaking. VIEcotours does such a great job with all their tours.

No doubt the highlight of our trip to St. Thomas. The guides were fantastic, enthusiastic and inclusive. Everyone was so chill and easy to talk to. It took zero kayaking experience, and there were multiple guides flanking the group to help maneuver us through the bay. From narrow mangrove alleys, to trekking across the open bay, there were many opportunities to see jellyfish, conch, crabs, shrimp, etc. We even had the chance to pull a conch and jellyfish out of the water to briefly hold. At several stops we pulled our kayaks together, turned out headlamps off, and listened to some dark and historic tales about the islands wild past. We learned about the worlds deadliest tree that exists close by, and made a trip’s worth of memories in 2 hours. Highly recommend.
