Glass Bottom Boat Cruise at Buccoo Reef
From USD 50.00
Overview
Explore one of the Caribbean's most accessible and colorful coral reefs on a glass bottom boat tour from Trinidad and Tobago. Set out from Scarborough in Tobago and cruise the Caribbean to Buccoo Reef, known for its vast array of hard and soft corals and sea life. Marvel at the underwater world of green loggerhead turtles, endangered leatherbacks and giant manta rays—as well as exquisite reef formations—beneath you from the comfort of above. Afterward, stop at the island's popular 'Nylon Pool' for a swim in its shallow sandbar waters.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at hotel pickup in Scarborough, then take a scenic journey along the Claude Noel Highway to the Buccoo Bay Beach Resort.

Climb aboard a glass bottom boat headed for Buccoo Reef and the Coral Gardens. Relax on board the vessel, enjoying views of native fish and the vibrant coral reefs. Keep an eye out for the gentle  manta rays, hawksbill turtles, green loggerhead turtles and the endangered leatherback. Listen to commentary from your guide, who will help you identify the rich variety of marine life you see.

Next, head to the 'Nylon Pool', where you can jump in for a swim in the warm, 2.5-foot- (1-meter-) deep water surrounding a natural sandbar.

After your sea adventure, return to your Scarborough hotel for drop-off.

They are KILLING THE REEF WITH BLEACH they use to clean snorkeling gear they provide!!!

They use BLEACH and VIM to treat the gear for guests that don't have their snorkeling gear and after the tour they simply throw this back into the OCEAN!!! They are KILLING this little bit of paradise they have.. What a shame!!!!!
