Full-Day Zipline and Waterfall Rappelling Adventure Near San Juan
From USD 155.00
Low Price Guarantee
Enjoy the thrill of ziplining and waterfall rappelling in Carite State Forest on this day-long adventure just 45 minutes from San Juan. All equipment needed to rappel down the El Salto Waterfall and zipline through the treetops is included, as is a home-cooked meal. Along the way, learn about the area’s indigenous heritage and the sugar cane industry from your guide, and enjoy convenient hotel pickup and drop-off.
What to Expect
Begin your day with a pickup at select San Juan, Condado, or Isla Verde hotels. After a 45-minute ride to Caguas with your guide and small group, you receive your helmet and harness and begin your Carite State Forest adventure.
First, you take an uphill hike while your guide briefs the group on safety procedures for the day and shares local history and lore. You walk along the river and through the forest before beginning your climb up waterfalls—eventually reaching the top of El Salto Waterfall. Once at the top, you rappel down the falls as a group.
Hike downriver with your group and take five different ziplines to the bottom of the mountain. There, you enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, before you are dropped back at your hotel.

I would not recommend doing this if your flight is at 5:30pm. We didn't get back until after 3pm. 1. You would definitely need a shower after. 2. There are only two pick ups for attendees. They don't provide an individualized... More

No. Most of the hike is through a rocky river or up steep trails. You would have to be carried the entire time. Even the initial walk up the road to the trail head is very steep and would be difficult to maneuver in a... More
